Wished to have lunch but we were a bit early & settled for the all day breakfast menu. Meal portions are large but this wasn't helpful because my Spanish omelette was overcooked & uneatable
The do have an extensive lunch/ dinner menu & although basically Italian there is a "bit of everything" including burger & seniors menus

Was travelling to the area and picked this Thai food restaurant from the travel/food website. Overall it was a pretty good dinner, yummy food and good service. We had the fish cake and Tom Kah Gai as entree. The Tom Kah soup was very good. The fish cake was average, don't brother to order if you had tried other fish cake before. Seldom to see the whole fish in the menu. It's deep-fried style and three different sauce to pick. We just pick the kind of Hong Kong style with the ginger and soy. It is delicious. The fish was a bit dry as it may be a bit over deep fried however with the sauce it helped to melt the fish a bit. We also wanted to order a two small steamed rice to share but the waiter just advised us to have one portion first and then we could ordered the second one if needed. That's right, their small rice is a hugh portion for two and we hardly finished it. The waiter is a good man ! Also another waitress or the manager also pop by and offer to take photos for us. Overall the restaurant is quite Grand, in terms of Asian/Thai eating house. The decor and the building are worthy to explore a bit as well.

Has a limited, yet very creative lunch menu. Vegetarian options are good. I ate vegetarian pie, with whole meal pastry, others had chicken salad, or really interesting rolls. My partner had a chunky, decent apple pi. We weren't rushed to leave and staff chat easily. WE visited the gallery afterwards.

Le Croissant du Moulin has been in the hills for many years and over intermittent visits dating back at least 25 years things have changed. The croissants are still great but the choice of bread is less with a personal favourite disappearing off the menu. I think it probably reflects the increased competition as more cafes open in the hills and the juggling act between ample supply and waste is tricky at any time. Moreover, while the locals know it is cash only, this can be an issue for the unaware drop in. The tradition French bowl of coffee for croissant dunking is still an attraction for purists, although they may also be a dying breed. The little sweet cakes are always tempting and the escargot, pastry not the gastropod, are a perennial favourite.

Located behind Kalamunda Centro Crema first appears to be an unassuming cafe. It's one of my favourite places which I visit regularly. The coffee is served hot and tastes good, they have a nice selection of slices, Portuguese Tarts, cookies, fresh fruit juices (made to order), plus a wide variety of Asian and Western foods. Some of my favourites is the LemonGrass Beef and Fresh Spring Rolls.
They also make some amazing quiche and pies. Although I have been going to this cafe for several years it was only last Saturday that I tried one of their meat pies. I was delighted with the tender beef and vegies that filled the pie, it wasn't like your usual pie that are filled with gravy - this one was full of flavourful meat encased in what appeared to be home made pastry. The staff are friendly but a little on the reserved side. They have recenly updated the Seating at the cafe which has given it a nice ambience. It's a favourite of many locals lookiing for a place to enjoy a relaxing cuppa while they read the newspaper.

Sunday lunch at the Kalamunda hotel was very disappointing,
I ordered fish &chips, well I got a bit of fish the size of a fish finger and nearly all batter',
the chips all of 11 chips were soggy and oily glug, and abit of salad leaves.
I don't know if the owner of the hotel knows what muck is being served.
its the only place in Kalamunda you can have lunch. never again......

This is a favoured pizza cafe in our local area. The pizzas are tasty, lots of topping, great choices and not soggy!
They also make the absolute best wedges of anywhere! We get takeaway and havn't used their Seating area but it is available for those who want to.
