We stopped by just for coffee and tea looking forward for having rest.
The service preferred their own rest, enjoying a smoke area, having guest and bar without their attention.
Good place, bad service and coffee served without any interest :-(
The restaurant was almost empty, just 8 - 12 guests.

This is a restaurant/art gallery in a park setting just outside of town. Indoor and outdoor dining in a lovely setting. Tasty Chinese food. English menus available.

The restaurant and hotel are in a beautiful building just outside the castle. There are a few tables outside to enjoy the view and the weather. The service is friendly if not prompt. The food is very good, traditional Bohemian Czech with a touch if distinction. Good beer. The chicken breast inside a potato pancake and panfried was a very nice surprise. Good value.

This restaurant sits outside Jindrichuv Hradec castle and is right next door to the Bila pani restaurant. Due to the lack of restaurant signage I thought at first it was part of Bila pani, but it is not.
I ate here whilst visiting with my wife (who is Czech) and several of her family, as well as our young 2 year old daughter. Sevice was fine and the menu had English translations throughout which was a plus for me.
The food itself was the part I was most impressed with; I had the pork medalions with pepercorn sauce and the pork was cooked perfectly; it's always a big plus for me when I visit a small place like this and experience a chef who can actually cook. I tried some of my wife's chicken in cranberry sauce which wasn't bad either. The house beer is Svijany which isn't my favourite Czech beer, but not bad.
Value wise, it was standard for the area. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would happily visit again if I was in the area.

Nice restaurant in a small alley just off Masarykovo namesti that was recommended to us. Pretty entrace, clean interior, kids corner outside. The service very pleasant. The meal was dissapointing, I ordered a curry pork on the lunch menu and after waiting a considerable amount of time, received a good portion of pork cutlett.nicely seasoned with fresh pepper with completely plain brown sauce and slighťy dry rice. The home made lime lemonade was delicious.

The old-barn style of restaurant in one of the largest garden centres in the Czech republic is a famous place for its food and drinks around the city. You can enjoy your meal in stylish interior or sit outside on the Terrace inbetween an amazing garden with pond and flowers.
V létě možnost sedět venku, ale i v zimě je vnitřní prostor dost veliký a příjemný. Super pro děti. Doporučujeme škubánky a kulajdu. Točí Kolču. Tu jsme neznali. Taková jiná Kofola. Venku pěkné dětské hřiště. Bez obsluhy.

Outstanding dinner - great food, pleasant service.
We had lentil soup, tandoor lamb kebob, chicken korma, spinach/lentils, garlic naan and rice.
Every bite was succulent. A truly wonderful meal.
The restaurant obviously has a good following because nearly every table was full. Despite this level of activity, the service was efficient and friendly.
If you like Indian food, go out of your way to come here. You will be glad you did!

A most pleasant hidden gem in Jindřichův Hradec. Situated right by the Vajgar lake opposite the city's castle, yet very calm and relaxing. A pleasant interior, friendly staff, great coffee. Occasional music evenings. Wine on offer is good enough and the Deserts are very tasty.
