EARTHEN BASTIONThe first modern building made from unburned earth in Bohemia. The earth from the public dump which went into liquidation was used for the building. The expenses in respect ot the transport and material therefore came off. Thanks to the modern technology a lifelike nature of the building will be envisage for hundred years. Then, when life-time passes on,the bulding would be easily ground on the flower bed.
Remarkable building built from mud bricks (hence the name). Very pretty setting nestled next to a fish pond with a large children's play area. Very popular with local families at the weekend.
Service is friendly, flexible and tries to speak English (the local area is quite popular with expat families). Food was a mixed bag. We had good monkfish with decent grilled vegetables, slightly overcooked salmon with well cooked rice and a sloppy, floppy lasagne made almost entirely from pasta and bechamel. The high point was the home made bread at the start, really tasty, crispy and fresh. The low point was being charged 40kc for tap water. We ordered many other drinks, so do you really need to charge us for that?

I use to travel to czech republic and I manage a gastronomic restaurant. I've been really surprised by this place. We went for a lunch with friends and kids. The first thing is about the building, witch is very nice and huge. The inside is warm and luxury. When you just pass the little bridge wood to get in, you arrived in a well decorated entrance, with some diplome of the chef who runs the restaurant. So you can choose between going down to the wine bar or stay in the restaurant. The food is traditional czech cuisine and some speciality of the house. For all taste! I am sorry about the fact that I can't give you courses name, but Czech is still a mistery for me! No matters, you can try everything the Chef is very good! The Czech cuisine is not a light one, but its very tasty. They use to eat everuthing with a lot of sauce and some special bread, very good for this. Don't worry if you are a big eater, Czech cuisine is for you! If you are thirsty I recomended, of course, the Pilsner Urquell beer, Fabulous! If not the wine list is quite extensive and good international quality. Some wines of Moravia are a must try, and they owns beautifull French ones. But this is not all, if you have kids like we do, you have an absolut relax! They have a lot of toys in the inside of the restaurant, and you can eat on the Terrace and your kids playing in the special instalation they have! Unbelieveable! It's like the best kid's park I have seen ever!
The service is very profesional and friendly, don't be surprise to have a waiter who speak your language, they all use to speak 3 or 4. I recomended this place to every familly, couples, business, well everybody.

Based on the location, we didn't expect much from this restaurant. It had all the of a tourist trap. But we were tired and hungry, and all the other places nearby had the same appearance. So we ate here and were pleasantly surprised. We had three different types of food (meat, soup, salad), and everything was good or better. Service was slow, however. We were happy enough overall and would likely eat here again without complaint. The p[rice was reasonable too.

The one on the best places out of centre for sure...coctail bar, fresh fish, perfect steaks, lokal beers, smiling staff, perfect food.
We visited this restaurant after Reading a nice review here on Tripadvisor and they didn't lie! Amazing service from the boss of this place, who was really nice to as all the time and we feel like we are welcome. I really liked the interior....MoreThank you very much, come to visit us again soon Jan

Just a short walk from our hotel, very nice location and venue. Unfortunately it was lunch time. Every aspect involved a lengthy wait. Not idea with small children but you do get bread if they get really irritable. Food and drinks were very nice, waiting 10-15 minutes to pay though (excluding all others wait times) was very frustrating. Avoid peak times and enjoy.

We had great meal there. Try starter plums in the bacon. Cozy garden and very nice service. We liked that very much.

To snížilo náš celkový dojem. Je možné, že jsme měli jen smůlu, ale taková byla skutečnost. Snad příště tento názor bude možné změnit k lepšímu.

We've come here many times for breakfast and the food is always great. The service is excellent, a bit expensive, but it's worth it with the kids.

A simple Thai restaurant (Thai, not Viet!) in Jesenice with traditional dishes. Prices are good, service is very friendly although a bit slow. Spice is Thai-level, not really for most Czech taste (my husband/Czech couldn't finish his tom yam soup). All in all a good option if you are around, but don't come from far just to dine here.

I visited this restaurant several times with my wife or with friends.I like it here. The portions of meals are pretty big and taste really good. You have a variety choise of beers. You get very good value for your money. I recomend to order chicken skewer with bacon, I really like it.
