The Waterville Tavern is a casual, family oriented restaurant located in the heart of the Pine Creek Valley featuring Al's Famous Martini's, a seasonal outside patio/bar and ice cream shack. We also offer overnight lodging with an accessible/handicap room and a third floor Penthouse apartment. Our property is nestled between Big and Little Pine Creeks and borders the PA Rail Trail.
We went to the Waterville Tavern twice during our vacation. Each time we were treated extremely well. They have a good cold Fat Tire on tap. My wife had the salmon both nights and very much enjoyed it. I had a very decadent meal the first time I went. Some kind of boat-with grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy. Good comfort food. The second night I had the shrimp scampi. Very good. Pasta cooked perfectly. Stop in- you will feel like family.

This is a unique little café especially for this area. They make all kinds of coffee drinks and smoothies and they have a breakfast and lunch menu, quite extensive with sandwiches, wraps, paninis, soups and salads and its not your typical standard fare that you find on every other menu around here They have homemade baked goods, cookies, muffins and scones YUM!!! I am just especially pleased over their salads. No other place around here serves salads like that. You won't find that iceberg salad mix from a bag in here! I do agree that they are a little pricey for the area but still reasonable. I would expect something bigger for the price we paid for our salads. 3 salads, one pb&j, a smoothie and two coffee drinks cost us $40. This place has never been crowded, very quiet, tv and internet there, very clean, and friendly service. We'll go again and again!

Best place to stop for some ice cream near Jersey Shore and Avis. This is not a sit down restaurant, you order at the walk up window and can eat at the picnic tables out back or in your car. There is also a drive through window.

It started with waiting to be seated even though the restaurant was almost empty on a Sunday evening. Then we needed to ask for utensils and napkins after our food arrived. The vegetables were not fresh and the food was just acceptable.

Cakes are dry and over cooked. Not a very experienced baker when you burn your cakes. I have had a few products from different weddings and they were all the same "HORRIBLE", over priced garbage! Would never order again or recommend her cakes.
Save yourself time, money and a ruined wedding day and go somewhere else.

Stopped here for a burger and a malt on my way to wellsboro. The staff was a little strange and the tables were full of old fart locals shooting the breeze and staring at me. Nothing better to do apparently.

New owners of an old favorite. Good food with a new expanded menu. Plenty of TV's for the sports minded. Parking next to building. Reasonable prices.

I've been eating at J & M for years. It's nothing fancy, a simply sub shop, but a good one. The staff is always friendly and I've never had a bad cheesesteak.

We were driving through Jersey Shore and saw the Shore Diner. We stopped for a bite of lunch. This is a typical local diner that is frequented by locals and tradesmen which is a good sign.
We seated oufselves and in short order our waitress brought the menus and took our drink order. By the time she brought our drinks, we were ready to order. I ordered the 2 Dixie Dogs Lunch Special with a side of Slaw. My wife ordered a single dog with a side of slaw. The chili was nicely seasoned and the fries were hot and crispy - perfect. The slaw was nice.
If we ever again find ourselves in Jersey Shore, we will stop.
