We are an Italian Steakhouse offering Steaks, Chops, pasta, pizza
I'm giving this restaurant 4 stars but I do this with pause. The pizza and beef filet are consistently very good. In fact, I'd say the pizza is nearly perfection.
The wait staff is polite and attentive and, for the most part, the bar staff is also good. The thing is....the management staff is consistently frustrated, angry and acts put out. I've actually encountered and witnessed patrons experiencing negative and somewhat aggressive behavior from them. While I hesitate to write a somewhat negative review of the management....and I've wondered in the past if it's just us or happenstance that we're seeing this behavior....when it happens fairly consistently......well that says it all.

Prices are extremely high. We have been going here for many years but won't return. 12.00 for a Turkey dinner 11.00 for meatloaf. The Turkey was sliced from a roll
The meatloaf was very dry had an odd spice which I couldn't pinpoint and a skimpy portion which was fine because I couldn't eat anyway. Our 2 cups of coffee looked and tasted like it was sitting all day. I had to ask her to make a fresh pot. We were never offered another cup. They used to give a free dessert Jell-O or ice cream and they took that away they no longer offer that I would have given only one star but I couldn't figure out how to take the second one away.

My husband and I arrived for lunch on a rainy Sunday afternoon in October. The parking lot was full so we almost left but decided to walk inside to find out the wait time. It's a fairly large restaurant and they were able to seat and serve us rather quickly to our surprise. We ordered the Sunday baked chicken special for 12.99 with two diet cokes and tax (before tip) totaled 33.00. The portions were huge. I had a cup of chili as one of my sides and it was the best part of my meal. It was only second to my mother's home made chili. Unfortunately the rest of my meal was average. Since they serve breakfast all day I noticed many people having a late breakfast. One person was served the biggest most delicious looking cinnamon roll I ever saw. There was a gentleman walking around the room entertaining diners doing magic tricks. The restaurant reminded me of a rustic lodge and the atmosphere was perfect for a rainy Sunday lunch. We enjoyed the music they played in the background. Now for the not so pleasant part of our meal.. our server was not very friendly or attentive. I ate half my meal with no beverage refill which is a pet peeve of mine. They were busy and the people chatter was quite loud like it is at a Cracker Barrel restaurant. I was surprised that they did not serve a dinner roll or any type bread with the meal. I would go back just for the chili... and maybe one of those cinnamon rolls. :D

At The Slinger House, we strive to provide a unique, relaxing atmosphere to our guests while they enjoy a Friday Fish Fry, Prime Rib, or one of our cool "foodie" specials on Saturdays
Great place in the area, decent to good service. Food is hot when served and above average for bar food. One of the better spots in the area.

When we visit relatives in West Bend, we always try to get to the Poplar Inn for a memorable dinner. The inside of the restaurant is fine, but for a more eclectic experience in warm weather, definitely choose outdoor seating in a delightful setting at tables with red umbrellas in a garden atmosphere. The four of us all ordered from the Lighter Fare menu. The butternut squash ravioli per se is good, but with cranberries, pecans and fried spinach mixed in the sauce the entree is kicked up a notch to truly gourmet dining. The Canadian Whitefish entree is another great choice. It is panko coated and accompanied by wild rice and veggies. For a pre entree choice, try their savory gazpacho. The wine list by the glass has some out of the ordinary choices that paired well with the meals we had.

I went into Dairy Queen on Sat night 3-4-17, to to get a take out order of Chicken Strip Basket. The young man running the register should of been doing something else because he couldn't get the order right after several times of me telling him what I wanted to order. He finally had to ask another young lady if I could order the chicken strips extra crispy and she finally said that I could. I finally got my items ordered and placed and the order finally went through and I got my items and left.

Excellent Coffee. I love that they roast their coffee onsite and sells it in their retail shop. The food is absolutely out of this world. Everything is homemade! From Breakfast, to Hoagies to Soups to Muffins and Cinnamon Rolls. The atmosphere is very relaxing and calming - my new favorite place. The staff is extremely friendly and know how to display excellent customer service. Thank you for opening your coffeehouse in Jackson, Wisconsin. It is a historic site that everyone should try to stop at.

They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, but known best for breakfast. Food is really great, and generous portions. They use real ingredients (their seafood Eggs Benedict uses real crabmeat, spinach and tomato—amazing!). Almost immediate seating, and seating available outside during summer season. Small bar in...MoreThank you for your positive comments. I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed your meal with us! I hope your next visit is just around the corner. Call us if there is anything we can help you with, Andrea.

Serving burgers, wings, sandwiches and entrees. Friday fish fry and Saturday prime rib. Casual dining, relaxed atmosphere with 8 tvs for sports entertainment.
Our party of 3 went there on Saturday looking to order prime rib. Unfortunately only one of us tagged the last one , as they were sold out. The rest of us ordered the tenderloin medallions with a lobster tail. The food was absolutley amazing!!! We could barely fit everthing on our table. Very casual establishment with probably one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Prices were very reasonable. Hope it stays that way! Owner even came to our table to chat. Can't wait to go back!!
