We just recently heard of this restaurant (we live 45 min away) so we decided to stop by. Everything we had was so good! Crispy shrimp that was added to the steak was delicious! Potato skins were great! No complaints at all! We’ll definitely return!

Michaels is a Jackson icon. Six generations of my family have enjoyed their ice cream, roasted peanuts, and the famous bubbles. The bubble is an ice cream treat topped with caramel or fudge sauce , sprinkled with nuts and smothered in marshmallow creme. The current parlor is a step back in time. The walls are covered with historic articles and photographs, and there are plenty of candies for sale.

Four Mile Bakery & General Store is known best for their donuts, but also carry lots of fresh baked goods including pies, cookies, hand pies and cinnamon rolls. We have a huge selection of amish bulk foods, canned food, fresh cheeses, candies, hand-dipped ice cream, candles and gifts. We have an indoor dining area with fountain soda and in the spring and summer, our front porch is open with picnic tables and rocking chairs.
We recently completed a driving trip that took us past Jackson, Ohio. We stopped for lunch at the Four Mile Bakery and General Store with its nice, long, shaded porch and picnic tables. I selected the pulled pork sandwich and Amish potato salad. My dining partner enjoyed the brat and kraut. Although the store is known for their doughnuts, there are other pastries and cookies. I had one of the chocolate doughnuts with creme filling, and it was to delicious! You can also find dry and canned goods, soda including Diet Dr. Pepper and Pepsi.
We sat on the porch and watched the Amish buggies drive by. The Four Mile Bakery is a bit off of the beaten path, however it is worth the stop. Tip: There are two, clean, unisex restrooms. The store takes cash only.

Great place for coffee and gathering with friends – The Spot on Main – in downtown Jackson, Ohio. The Spot on Main serves coffee and espresso-based drinks with beans sourced from a local roaster and milk from a local dairy. Fresh pastries and desserts are available all day. You can also grab a fresh salad, soup, or sandwich all day long. Enjoy outdoor seating with a view of the historic Jackson Apple Tower. The building has an accessible entrance through the rear patio and two accessible bathrooms.
This little gem is the newest addition to the downtown area and refreshingly so.
The exterior and interior of this old building have very tastefully been renovated.
The menu is simple and refined. The sweet smell of coffee wafts thru the air. Don't be dismissive though as there are a variety of drinks for all tastes. If you are hungry there are a variety of freshly made treats. I believe many, if not all, are locally made. I also noticed they use Snowville Creamery products - a local creamery with outstanding products.
On this visit I enjoyed the generous portion of cheesecake and an iced mocha.
Stop in and relax. Have a beverage and a snack. Bring your friends and enjoy this gathering place!

The pulled pork was good. Not as good as I have had at other places, but still pretty good. We ordered corn dogs for the kids and they came out hot but frozen in the middle - The manager were very nice about replacing them. When the new corn dogs came out, only one was cooked through and the other one was cold in the middle - Not too happy about that, but the kids were so upset we just shared the one corn dog between them and gave them our food. They also mixed up our order. However they were very gracious about our order. The food was average to good. They are a very busy place with limited hours. It was clean and tidy and priced well. Probably would not order the corn dogs again, but would order the pulled pork -

Visited the 29th at about 8 pm. We were seated immediately and our waitress was ready to take our drink orders. She came back shortly with our drinks and took our appetizer order. We ordered fried pickles with ranch dressing. They were a little spicy but good. Don't order them if you don't like spicy. She came back and took our orders, filled our drinks, and really did a good job. The ribs were fall off the bone. The sirloin steaks were tender and cooked to order. The sweet potato was excellent with pecans on it. The food was a bit more pricey than Texas Roadhouse. However, it was good. We will return.

I always get the strawberry cheesequake blizzard. Almost everytime it is the same, but occassionally I get one that barely has any cheesecake cubes in it. It's like they over blend it and tear up the cubes or just don"t put enough in it. Always yummy still though.

Pizza/salad buffet very good. Chill Ville frozen yogurt bar a real treat. Owner contributes a lot to the community. Great small town feel.

This is a great place whether you want pizza or a sandwich and salad. They have one of the best salads , has olives, onions, tomatoes, cheese, croutons and not a bad size for an add on. Pizza is really good and appitzers are also!
