Pleasant restaurant with decent service. Noise level is bearable. Most of the food is highly spiced including the salad I had. Regular place. Not bad, not good.

I have tried all this chain restaurant has to offer: steak, seafood and the cantina. All my experience over the years of traveling to Texas has not disappoint. The visit to the steakhouse was also spectacular! The beef carpaccio and foie gras were amazing, besides the steak itself.

...The opposite of a quiet, intimate sushi bar, the Blue Fish is enormous, loud, stylish and good. Where else can you find a signature roll called El Cubano ($9.50)? It's spicy pork, jalapeno, cilantro, Jalapeno pepper and carrots, with a sweet and spicy sauce. What's most refreshing here is that the menu is all Japanese -- no Thai food to confuse the palate. And to be honest, sushi purists will find plenty to keep them interested. Live specials such as Spanish mackarel, Sea Urchin, Live Hottate(scallop), Black Bass, mirugai (giant clam) and much more.Order the Ahi Tower to see just how well the kitchen can plate. It's tuna tartar and sesame oil over snow crab and avocado salad on a bed of wasabi infused rice. It's almost tragic to watch the server destroy this architectural marvel table-side to make it easier to eat. The "cake" portion of spicy tuna on crispy rice cakes in uzu and garlic sauce. It's delicious...
First class sushi place !
Always the freshest fish very professionally cut and prepared.
The rest of the menu is awesome as well with agadashi tofu to die for.
The stir fry dishes are delicious also. All served by the most professional wait staff in a very cool environment surrounded by comforting decoration, lighting and mood.

I had the 12 oz ribeye which had a very good flavor. There was a little more fat than I expected, but I'm sure that's where the great flavor came from. My sides were mashed potatoes with white gravy and green beans. The sides were...MoreThank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review and walking us through your meal! We travel a lot, and so we have the opportunity to eat at many different places. This is a restaurant that touts itself far more than it should. The food was okay and the service was very very slow. Although very friendly, the staff seemed stretched beyond their means when it came to attending to all the guest at the same time... Our waitress was training someone one new, so I guess that's a step in the right direction. It was a Wednesday evening so I would hate to see what it's like in there on a Friday. We waited a very long time for our table as well. If the food had been fantastic I would have overlooked the long delays in service, but it was not. It was way over priced and just not what I expected from the reviews I had read. Save yourself money and go to Outback. It wasn't awful, but I was not impressed.

Empa Mundo is happy to bring Gourmet Argentinean empanadas to the metroplex! Come visit us for pleasant service and a delicious meal!! It's a super casual mom and pop spot, and we're BYOB, so bring a bottle or 6 pack with you if you'd like. See you soon!!
I’m super lucky because I became familiar with this nifty establishment the day they opened. I’ve had meal after meal here personally over the years. Trust me there’s a reason they have received the best in irving like five years in a row on Yelp.
They have gotten some critics that aren’t so kind. Because this is not a full restaurant that you can enjoy a kids, appetizers, salads, entrees and desert menu served at your table by a waiter. There are tables and you can dine in. They just make empanadas. Yes. Just Empanadas!
With recipes from Argentina and perfected by passionate hands.
We brought in several boxes of the “whole menu” to treat our staff to lunch and we were very happy. The staff raves and begged us to do that again in the future.

The name is deceiving. Very disappointed in their selection of beer. Tried a local Bock and the flavor was underwhelming. This placed saved themselves with their cauliflower steak! While known for their beef steak don’t let that make you fellow vegetarians shy away from checking this place out. The asparagus was cooked perfectly and a nice texture accompaniment. I also tried the tuna tartare which was nice but not above average. They also provided excellent customer service! I may return but the cauliflower steak seemed to be the extent of their main dishes that didn’t have meat so I won’t be rushing back.

Fantastic Tex-Mex, Mexican Restaurant. I just had the very best Mexican Meal in my lifetime (that’s 70+ Years). I started with Guacamole, that was prepared at our table. Then a Combination dinner, titled “The Bandido”... Full of flavor - pork tamales, cheese enchiladas and soft cheese tacos. Topped off with a one of a kind Mexican Vanilla Ice Cream dessert. Service was Excellent, and all in all priced very reasonably. This restaurant is great for singles, couples, groups. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all of my family any friends. The best advice that I can give you is to clone hungry, sit down and enjoy one of the best meals in town.

Our restaurant resonates with traditional Tex-Mex food lovers as well as those interested in a foodie’s interpretation of Modern Mexican.
When you visit Dallas, you have to try Mexican food. This restaurant has the best Guacamole I've ever had. Good service, good food and friendly staff. We were glad that our friend brought us to this restaurant.
