I hosted a birthday party for 10 people and The Depot was certainly the best venue for such an event. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Our server, Karen, was very friendly and assiduously attended to all of our dinner requests. The seafood and sushi were very fresh and each entree was presented in an appealing manner with even a fresh edible flower on the plate for garnishment. There aren't that many excellent restaurants in southern Ohio - and the Depot is the best.

Our favorite place to stop on the way to the mall. Good old fashioned shake shoppe food and ice cream ? very clean, great service, and hot dog sauce and chocolate ice cream is incredible!

They were able to accommodate our rather large group for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon with little notice. Service was friendly and fairly prompt. The servings are huge - the calzones and salads could easily satisfy two people each. Everyone seemed pleased with the quality of their meal.

We were staying at the Holiday Inn and some friends and I sat on the outdoor patio and ordered 3 antipasto salads and garlic bread plus iced teas. The delivery man came with ample dressings and sweetener for the teas. The salads were delicious and full of ham, cheese, pepperoni, fresh veggies. The red dressing is my favorite. It's similar to a Russian or Catalina dressing. The only problem with the order was instead of garlic bread we were given cheese bread sticks. They were good and we didn't complain. They also have great sandwiches (steak ssanwich with cheese is my favorite) and really good thin crust pizza.

I love local eateries and didn't expect much in a small town such as Ironton but I am happy to report that Peddler's is just about the friendliest place around! Our friends frequent there and took us for lunch/dinner. They had fried fish and hush puppies on the buffet so I was in. The hush puppies were very dry and not real flavorful but the fish was actually very good. Salad was good and the buffet was very clean, thankfully.
The server was attentive to us and friendly. Drinks refilled and even drinks to go!
Decent prices, nothing fancy, decor hasn't changed in many years but it is clean. We would go again!

This restaurant was close to our hotel and was recommended by the desk clerk. The food was very good and tasted home made. The waiter was friendly and gave good service, even on a busy night. They now have a liquor license, so the margaritas were very smooth. Highly recommend!

Went on Friday night for the steak special. What a great meal. Started off with a salad which was loaded with cheese, bacon, croutons and various vegetables. Loved the red dressing on it too. Then the steak was perfectly seasoned and juicy at medium rare. There was a big plump baked potato with butter and sour cream and two pieces of garlic bread. It was delicious. We had many rounds of drinks. The wait staff was personable and attentive and even joked with us. Saw many pizza being delivered to tables and also wings. All of the food looked good.

this is not fancy cafe with table cloth or candles on the tables. On the other hand, they offer just as sincere service and great food. I had roast beef sandwich and I cannot remember the last time I had such a delicious sandwiches. Their au jus is awesomest of all. Ironton is a cute little town to visit. I would like to visit this town again and spend more time. I will of course stop here for lunch again.

In Ironton, this is the fast food option for a large family meal. We ordered our food in advance to ensure it was truly ‘hot and ready’ ..... and it was!
Three different types of pizza, crazy bread, Italian cheesy bread, and dipping sauces ensured that 10 adults had plenty of choice and could enjoy the company of each other without worrying about cooking and clean up following our evening together. I’d recommend this franchise if your family is getting together in the area.

When we arrived, they were very busy. Nevertheless, the staff seated and served us very promptly. Ruby, our waitress, was highly energetic and kept our glasses filled. We were delighted to have a Big Boy sandwich after several years, since there is not a Frisch's (or Shoney's) in our town. And loved the hot fudge cake. Lenny, the manager, was welcoming and solicitous of us, and made us feel that our business was appreciated.
