We have this rule when we travel that if we see a restaurant and it's packed the food has got to be good. The place was packed and the pizza was awesome. We had a pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza. A large was big enough to feed 4 adults. The bill was very reasonable. Service was great. Friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the are.

Had coffee here while visiting my mom. Very nice atmosphere and friendly people. The pour over coffee was fantastic. We also had scones and muffins and they were excellent. It's great to see a hip coffee place in little Iron River.

Stopped here one Friday evening while traveling through on our way to a cabin. The restaurant is Italian with some variety. as an example i had the salmon others had more typical pasta dishes. The bread plate had a variety of home prepared breads. One individual in our group liked the rolled bread sticks so much we bought a large bag of them to take with us! The side salads were very nice, lots of greens with several additional veggies. I had the green pepper soup which was outstanding! It was very tasty. lots of veggies and chinks of meat. The salmon was very good and I opted for the fries which were of the coated type, well prepared. They make everything there from scratch and it showed. The service was very friendly with the owner stopping by our table to talk for several minutes.

First, Lisa, our server was awesome! We had so much fun laughing and visiting with you.
Ok, dining. My ribeye was excellent with the sautéed mushrooms. All 12 of us raved about our dinners. And for dessert, how about a grasshopper? Perfect ending to another perfect gathering. Thank you!!!

Looking for a non fast food sub, scotts is the place!!! Reasonable prices for what you get. Clean friendly service. Could find a line to order if you're there at lunch or dinner, but the wait is not long. Pizza is excellent but on the pricey side. Also has quality ice cream. Locals and outta towners love Scotts!!!

When business visitors were in town, I always suggested kermits. Clean bar with great quality bar+ food. Decent prices with friendly service. Looking for a good meal, not fast food, and a nice drink... at a fair price. Kermits is the spot.

we ordered the fish & it was really not adequate. it was watery & white with some lemon pepper on it but overall flavorless. the other meals looked good & sufficient amounts but we were not please.

Everyone who's been to the Nickel know how good the burgers are, but that's not the only food to try. The Chili is awesome! If you don't have the appetite for a big burger than try it you won't be disappointed!

I hate to say it but this place, as is true of many in the Northwoods, is a little scary looking--don't know if it's the harsh winters or what but the food--have just tried breakfast so far--is amazing!
Love, love, love the Swedish pancakes with the cottage cheese filling--used the natural raspberry preserves at the table as the topping. I have had these twice and can't wait to have them again. My husband had a huge omelette which he said was excellent. I tried his hash browns and they, too, were top-notch--crispy, not greasy and nicely seasoned.
Will have to try lunch one day soon.
