Jake's has been serving award winning fresh seafood for over 50 years! We are a seasonal (open April-November) restaurant located in beautiful Nantasket Beach directly on the water! We feature a full service seafood market for those wanting to take fresh seafood home and prepare for themselves and offer a full liquor service as well as a children's menu.
We visited here on a Sunday evening. We got in before 5, after 5 the line began to form out the door. We ordered the salmon sandwich and it was excellent. The fish was fresh, the roll was bakery fresh and the lettuce and tomato were fresh as well. The salmon was grilled and large in portion. The french fries were fine, but I would have preferred a wider fry than the narrow sliced. Service was excellent, staff was friendly and courteous. Prices were great for a local seafood restaurant by the water. We would return if in the area.

Tosca is the flagship restaurant of Eat Well Inc. Open for dinner only, Tosca is located on historic Hingham Harbor and offers creative regional Italian cuisine focusing on fresh New England flavors and local, seasonal ingredients. Constructed in the 1910 Granary Marketplace building, the award-winning restaurant boasts a theatrical setting with exposed brick, imported tiles, mahogany woods, and an open kitchen from which executive chef Kevin Long takes center stage.
Just went to Tosca's in Hingham ma for the first time this past week. Simply a great place!!! Ate at the Bar, great service, delicious food with a very upscale but casual atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this place for a great night out. A little pricy but worth the price. Look forward to going back.

Our grandkids love when we stop at Weinbergs on our way out of Town going to visit them. This time it was cupcakes for dessert. They always have sesame character ginger bread men as a special treat. The not to be missed dessert that the grown ups love are the Lobster Claws.
We're lucky to have such a great bakery in our!

Great, unique flavors of ice cream here. Had "my favorite cousin" that had chocolate covered pretzels and chocolates covered potato chips mixed in a sweet vanilla cream base. It was yummy. Will go back to try the raspberry Oreo and Hingham sludge! You gotta stop in here if you are on the South Shore!

My friend said this place was on the news for how the ladies here dress which was very flashy. We went for coffee to see for ourselves and it was nice. Nice place, very pink. The two young ladies here were nice and looked respectable to me. Coffee was ok too, not great but good enough. I liked anyway.

Went here after reading reviews. Found the food to be very good with good sizes portions! The chowder was loaded with clams and prepared just right. We tried the prime rib special dip sandwiches which were very good made with fresh prime rib. The fisherman’s platters that others were eating was big enough to share with two people or more. Looked great!

A neighborhood modern american restaurant. Working with local farms to present a frequently changing farm fresh menu.
Went the with a business partner for dinner and we were in time for some $1 oysters. Great beer selection both on tap and bottles. Exiting menu with many options- loved the wings.

My wife and I ate here during a recent visit to the area and were very impressed with the overall experience.
We made a reservation on OpenTable.com and that was very easy. Upon our arrival the staff had our information handy and were very friendly from the time we walked through the door. We talked with multiple members of the staff and they were all very nice and helpful.
My wife had a lobster pasta dish and loved it. The said the noodles were very, very flavorful and she could eat just them alone and be happy. The serving size was very large and she had a tough time eating it all because it was just so much.
I had the duck breast and it was fantastic. The duck was cooked perfectly with a very flavorful and crispy skin. The duck alone was great but combined with the sauce and it was fantastic. The accompanying succotash was also very good.
We did order desserts too. The blueberry shortbread was good. Sweet, but good. We also got the pecan ice cream. It was very good as well.
There is even parking available behind the restaurant which is nice and uncommon for many places in the Boston area so that's a bonus!
The only downsides to Alma Nove that we found was that there was limited seating in the waiting area which wasn't that big of a deal but if you arrive with a party or after a party there isn't anywhere to sit while you wait. Other than that, the only other thing was lack of a sweet white wine available on the wine list. Most of the white wines were dry and we are a sweet white wine couple. The Riesling wasn't a bad substitute but a sweeter Riesling or Moscato would have been nice.

Staying at hotel nice setting. Decided to drop in for a drink and chowda. The IPA draft was good but with the exception of one small piece of potatoe there was absolutely nothing but broth. Broth was ok but. But watery. Did not match prior reviews

Outdoor chic summer shack with an amazing view of the ocean, live music and serving 10 years of quality fresh beach food. check us out
I decided to check check out Hulls Kitchen 2 this past weekend.
What I found was over price drinks. A mix drink @ $9. A very limited apps menu at high prices what you expected at fine dinner place not at the the beach. But what was disturbing was the hostess seated a family of three at a table. The owner came over and told them the could not sit there ans seat this the tables are for parties of five or more. This started a argument that ended up the owner throwing them off the premises
Very poor service by the owner. Stay away recommended
