With a lot of love and pleasure we make the best pancakes in the universe for you. Theehuis has a goal, everbody happy!! With care we choose the best products, mostly fair-trade and organic. Our team is ready for you every day at 10.00 till 20.30. There is always a place for you as we have over 450 seats in the summer!
Fun Dutch pancake restaurant in a rustic fun farmhouse type setting. One should eat outdoors on the patio in good weather but indoor Seating can be reserved. Amazing variety of pancakes ranging from sweet fruity concoctions to omelette-like, pizza-ish and other flavors, all in a single plate sized pancake. There are half and half choices like a pizza. I had half apple/raisin and bacon/cheese - tasty! The pancakes are more like crepes than American flapjacks so are lighter and less volume although still a good sized meal. There are apparently other excellent entrees but this is a place for pancakes. There are English menus upon request. Good service, and groups not a problem.

The weather was just too nice to pass up the opportunity to try this place. All outdoor tables were occupied, but as I was alone they managed to find a place for me. (First points.)
Chef's choice (Peter Jobse) menu, reasonably priced, paired with two wines, interesting description - I couldn't resist.
"Amuse bouche" dish of baked bread / crackers accompanied by a foamed butter. Very nice.
Each dish was well balanced, obviously the result of research, trial and effort. Very impressive.
The service was good, especially given the fact that I was 'in excess' of their booking capacity.
The wine pairings were well matched to the dishes.
Overall a very pleasant surprise, an excellent dinner at a reasonable price.

We had lunch here in September 2016.
It is a beautiful location although it was a little tricky to find as it wasn't that well signposted.
We had the surprise 3 course lunch option. Every course was beautifully presented, with exceptional flavours. The matching wines were really well chosen too.
Highly recommend.

Inspired by the French concept of "Table d'hotes", we serve a different five course menu for our guests, every day. In C'est Ca we always make use of organic meat, MSC certified fish and only purchase fresh seasonal produce for our daily changing dishes. We don't have complicated menus to choose from, but offer a delicious high quality 5 course meal for all to enjoy. Our chef combines the finest seasonal ingredients, to create a delicious French meal, consisting of a starter, a soup, a main course, a cheese platter and a sweet dessert. All homemade of course, to give our guests the ultimate homely feeling you can experience in a foreign restaurant.
Absolutely loved this experience! They were full but was able to sit us quickly. Our two waitresses were extremely friendly. This restaurant has a surprise menu but they are very attentive to your dietary restrictions. Service was quite slow but the food made up for it, best meal I've ever had!

With no pretention and full of ambition, a young team is ready to give you the best!Fine international quality cuisine with a focus on the best fresh ingredients.Chef Leon Mazairac and it's team prepare a monthly changing fixed 3 and 7 course menu.Everything is freshly produced, homemade bread and delicate, but recognizable dishes. In a relaxed and correct ambiance, the service staff will take care of all your needs. The sommelier will serve you perfectly matching wines. There is also a great wine list with (natural) european wines, or classic well known domaines.
This is such a beautiful establishment with elegant rooms I was unnecessarily worried that the dinning experience would not live up to expectations.
The chef conducts his preparation with such technique and skill the food was sumptuously presented and tasted better.
Three amuse bouche followed by eel then lobster and brill I was delighted. Each ingredient lovingly sourced, prepared and presented fine dining indeed. Service was informed relaxed attentive and coordinated.
The best meal I have had in Utrecht, Amsterdam and many other countries. This was a culinary tour de force a perfect way to introduce my starving student daughter to oysters, pigeon, sweet breads and good wine.

A friend from 't Goy, not far from 'central' Houten took me to Coco Pazzo for lunch. Marvellous, indeed, just as he'd said. Pleasantly spacious but uncluttered with colorful prints on the walls. A well-utensiled open kitchen; tables impeccably set with white linnens, gleaming cutlery, fine China. Exceptionally friendly reception.
There wasn't a menu-list; a tray is brought on which the many suggestions of the inventive kitchen. We started off with delicious San Daniele ham with a surprisingly light and fine coffee-mousse and other garnish. Utterly fine large ravioli, vegetarian with all the necessary acoutrements. Veal and fresh mushrooms. The wine list is on the expensive side, but has a large variety of good Italian bottles; a few from other countries.
Service was absolutely fine.
Lunch was great; I wonder what dinner would be like. Must come back to try!

This restaurant is nicely located at the outskirts of Bunnik close to Utrecht. The dishes are good. On this Friday night the restaurant was almost fully booked so better make a reservation in advance.
There are a few separate rooms for up to twelve people were you can eat and have a meeting.
Due to a miscommunication within the staff we had to wait for our dessert for a long time. When I complained about it the head waiter came by in person to apologize and we were compensated for it. Very professionally done.

Bijzonder restaurant waar het echt het gevoel geeft alsof je bij iemand thuis eet. Super lekker eten waar veel aandacht aan wordt besteed en het iedereen naar z'n zin maakt. Echt geweldig! De moeite waard!
Very nice diner in a great looking reataurant. Former garage, turned into a beautiful restaurant. We ate upstairs where it was very hot... (summer). You may want to make sure you eat outide or downstairs when it's hot.
Food was good, not great. Service was great.

After a visit to the adjacent cinema we decided to try Azuma. I myself am not so fond of sushi, however, they have non Japanese dishes too. The restaurant has an all you can eat concept for 25 euros during a maximum of 2,5 hrs. According to my wife, the sushi was good. I tried different other Asian dishes which were good as well. Service was swift and friendly. Major draw-back though is the frying smell throughout the place so when leaving the restaurant we were very happy we didn't have anything else planned and our cloths went into the washing machine straight away upon arriving home. Okay for once but would probably not return.

We ate at de Roskam last Wednesday evening after work. It is in a cobbled square in the centre of Houten. As it was a sunny evening we decided to eat on the Terrace and were lucky enough to have a large table outside. As the evening got late the overhead heater came on and an electric awning enclosed the Terrace, so it was very comfortable.
The servers were very pleasant and quick; there were 11 of us eating, all having different dishes, so it wasn't an easy task but they got it right. I had Carpaccio to start which was perfect, nice and thin no fatty bits and a good sprinkling of cheese. Main course I had cod which was served on the bone but very easy to fillet. The other guys had various assortments of steaks and lamb, they all agreed it was very good. Everyone except me tried the different beers, I stuck to the white wine which was very good and reasonably priced compared to the UK. I would have no hesitation in recommending de Roskam to anyone - it was delightful
