We looked at Trip Advisor to find a place to eat during our stay in Colorado. We enjoy BBQ and decided to stop at Zack's. The meal was excellent and the price was extremely reasonable. When we thought about our other dining experiences, we concluded that it was our number one experience. I just wish I would have purchased a tee shirt. Will go out or way to stop here again.

One of the more established restaurants in the North Fork Valley - The Flying Fork has a reputation for using the freshest, most local ingredients available. Owner/Chef Kelly Steinmetz uses the words "Simple Elegance" to describe both the cuisine and the ambience at the Flying Fork Cafe, located at the corner of 3rd and Main St. In Paonia. Dinner is elegant and packed with flavor. Choose from an assortment of pasta, braised Colorado lamb, NY strip steak, fresh fish, homemade Lasagne or fettuccine. Plus daily specials. "Being able to set up this restaurant from scratch is a dream come true," says Kelly. He keeps his eye on the "complete package" - flavorful food, outstanding service and a pleasant ambience, which is enhanced in the summer by outdoor garden seating under the fruit trees. With any meal, enjoy wines, beers, spirits and hard cider from around the North Fork & Colorado. In the bakery, sample a delicious cinnamon roll with bing cherries & walnuts or a hearty muffin with a cup of fresh roasted organic coffee. Pick up a loaf of artisan style bread, a dozen homemade cookies and stuffed focaccia breadsticks to take home. Cooking it up with Passion & a Whole Lotta Goodness since 2003.
The Flying Fork Cafe has been serving fine cuisine and local wines in Paonia for well over a decade. Due to a downturn in the local economy, it no longer serves lunch. Dinner is available -- and worth every mouthful! The garden is ideal once the heat of the day has passed. The Bakery continues to operate and provides delicious pasteries, baked fresh daily, as well as stuffed breadsticks and sandwiches to go. A call in advance will assure you of freshly made sandwiches to order. Most unfortunately, a "for sale" sign sits outside the Bakery door.

Wow! What a delight to enjoy an excellent Espresso, Americano or whatever is your coffee craving! The staff is very friendly and nice. The coffee is terrific. Even purchased the Sumatra coffee beans. It was an excellent choice. Do not miss the occasion to stop and enjoy a good hot cuppa jo here. I recommend it wholeheartedly☕️

I just spent last weekend in Paonia visiting wineries, farms, and hiking (only a bit, lots of ticks right now). We camped at Delicious Orchards which was beautiful and simple to get to and set up for the night. The staff was accommodating and the food, hard ciders, and live music made the evenings a great time. I would definitely recommend this for the perfect weekend getaway.

Snow Dogs is located in the Redwood Arms Motel & Properties Plaza located on HWY 133. We offer Vienna Beef Hot Dogs (Chicago Style Dog, Classic Dog, Mustard Dog, Chili Dog, etc .), Burgers, Gyros, Italian Beef, Beef & Sausage Sandwich, Ruebens, Sausages, Chicken Tenders, Popcorn Chicken, Fries, Fried Pickles, Onion Rings, Fried Mushrooms, and more. Serving delicious comfort food.
On a trip home, went to Snow Dogs to check it out, as it was new to the area since my last visit. The dogs were amazing (they also have burgers, gyros, etc.). We went a bit off the lunch hour, so as we were enjoying our dogs and the beautiful weather, the owners came out to chat with us. Turns out they are from Chicago and moved to Colorado. These dogs are fantastic and you have to try them. I would highly recommend stopping here.

The service was very slow from the kitchen but the food was wonderful. The Elk Lasagna was amazing. We had a very pleasant waitress.

In a small community, the only way to stay successful is by maintaining consistently good food. PJs is always that! I've written in the past how much I've enjoyed our visits here for dinner, but it definitely warrants repeating. Thank you Peter and staff for always providing us with a fantastic meal, atmosphere, and friendliness. It's always a great experience.

Stopped in here the other day with old college buddies. I had the two shredded beef enchiladas with green chili sauce. Comes with rice and beans. Rice was kicked up slightly with just a touch of being spicy - still very good. Pinto beans were also very good along with enchiladas. Not bad for 7 bucks.

Recently renamed Highpoint Cafe, or something along those lines I can't really remember now, I thought that this place was really good. I had a buffalo burger which was extremely good and the rest of the party also really enjoyed their meal too. Our waitress was lovely and very talkative and we had a lovely conversation at the end telling her about back home in England which she was really interested in. The only bad thing I have to say is that some of the chairs were ruined and it would be nice to get them replaced as because you have recently been renamed and started again it would be better, I think, to make the place look newer and replace worn down furniture.

The restaurant is clean and the wait staff efficient. The items on the line are fresh and kept covered. The price is very good and you can eat inside or take the food with you.
