Owner/Chef Paul Riggan is serving an artistically infused menu with creations influenced from French, Asian, Caribbean and low country cuisines. Potato Crusted Salmon, a delectable Stealhead Carolina Trout as well as nightly specials await your selection. Feel free to look through the menus section to see the wide variety of food offered. Wonderful cuisines which range from Veal Crostini to a very tasty BBQ Duck Confit served over smoked cheddar polenta, locally grown collard greens and finished with a tangy barbecue sauce. Blue Water Grilled also offers a wide variety of non-seafood entrees including beef tenderloin. - See more at: http://www.Bluewatergrillenc.Com/About-Us#sthash.TtdOQswA.Dpuf
We've been to the Blue Water Grill several times over the years for special occasions and quiet dinners. The bar experience, alone, is worth a visit. The evening dinner experience, however, is beginning to pale. We talked-up the restaurant to some friends who had never been there and wen together. The decor hasn't aged well. It's dark and dingy. Even the limited menu looked and felt old. I ordered scallops because of the preparation description: "pan-seared, cauliflower cream, charred corn, zucchini, spinach, fingerling potatoes, tomato-crab relish." Sounds great, right? These items arrived under four scallops in an over-cooked, tasteless mash. And all for $28. A total disappointment. None of our table-mates offered a stellar review of their entrees either.

I have nothing but great things to say about Carter Brothers. I have eaten at both locations, and they have catered a meal at a previous place of employment. I have tried different things and have never been disappointed. The owner, Tim Carter truly walks by what he puts on his menu about Christ, he doesn't just write things about God and post a sign about why he is closed on Sunday. I recently reached out to him about a service project I was doing and he allowed the Lord to lead him and made a donation of food towards our meal. I am forever grateful & will continue to eat there as long as I am in the area!

After finding Sammy G’s (figuratively and logistically) last month we have been back 3 times!! It is hands down the best service and food in the Triad. Over the span of these 4 visits we have had wonderful meals including the Lobster Nachos appetizer; Steak and Cake (filet migon topped with lump crab cake; Teryaki Chicken breast; the Sammy G (seafood platter). Everything has been perfectly prepared, plated and served hot and timely with their pleasant outstanding service.
Of couse each time we share the melt in your mouth desserts.
Our only problem is that we are sad we have not tried Sammy Gs before now. We have a lot of catching up to do but what a delicious problem.
Hope you enjoy as much as we have. Hey we even bought Sammy G gift cards for Christmas gifts.

Today we decided to try Giannos for the first time to have their pizza buffet. The parking lot was cram-jam full, but we were able to park in the large shopping center parking lot. There were lots of people there; many seemingly for holiday work celebration lunches. The restaurant is large, seating many people but not feeling crowded. The salad bar was okay, adequate but with nothing out of the ordinary. There were about 11 pizzas available with newer pizzas added from time to time. Our server was polite and attentive. The pizzas were good and there were some unique varieties. The only thing that needed improvement was that the pizzas on the lunch buffet were cold. The warming system did not seem to be working at all or at least not very well. Based on their pizza buffet today, it was an average meal.

Over the past month I find myself craving BBQ Joes!! I just can't get enough. I have tried numerous dishes from the MONSTER breakfast biscuits to the INCREDIBLE pulled pork and brisket platters. The warm hushpuppies could make a grown man cry. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly, and the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs. I really love this restaurant and highly recommend it.

Although we have eaten at the Main Street Carter Brothers a coupon of times, we dined at their Wendover Landing location for the first time tonight. This location seems to be a bit nicer. It appears to be larger, newer, and is nicely decorated. Hubby and I both had the Rib-Rye Sandwich Combo. He chose macaroni and cheese as his side. I had a taste and it seemed to be home-made and good mac and cheese . I chose their potato salad, since the server said it was mainly made with mayo, not mustard - as I like it made. It also was good. The Rib-Eyes were cooked medium, to our order. The standard white hamburger bun was dressed with mayo for me and mustard for hubby and crisp lettuce and tomato. The rib-eyes were thinly sliced but they were tasty. The sweet tea hubby had was good. We were seated quickly and the service was attentive. Carter Brothers seems to love styrofoam - the drinking cups, bowls for the sides, and the plates were all styrofoam - not impressive at all. This was an average dining experience, so we will probably not return to Carter Brothers.

Liberty means many things to many different people. It's a celebration of the great American farmer and the rich bounty he puts on our plates. It's a celebration of America's rich ethnic cooking styles. It's a celebration of the resurgence of the "handcrafted-brewing" style of the pre-prohibition small American brewery. Liberty Brewery & Grill is based on America's rich ethnic cooking styles, complimented by finely hand-crafted beers, tantalizing starters and perfectly seared steaks. We've got something brewing you're sure to like. Liberty is also a celebration of life, family and the pursuit of happiness. So bring us your hungry, your thirsty and fun-loving, we'll send you home refreshed and fulfilled. Celebrate Liberty with Us!
When I read all the great reviews about Liberty Brewery I thought.."hey maybe this place is not your typical brewpub with lousy food,"...well I was wrong. The food was lousy. The silverware was really spotted and dirty, wrapped in the dreaded black cloth napkins, they use black because you cant see if they are clean or not.
I ordered a rib eye steak..and it was a joke. So bland with zero seasoning, about a half inch thick if that..it was very thin, and about the most uninspired steak I have ever had. It was served with some lame mashed potatoes that were a bit old and dry, and plated with an ice cream scooper..ugh. My wife and daughter each had burgers which were just ok. We ordered an appetizer which was some kind of spinach dip or something..it was a brutal, tasteless mess that had no hint of freshness. The entrees came out in about 10 minutes..always a bad sign. Good restaurants do not put out food in 10 minutes.
This place might be ok for beer and bar food, but anyone who tells you this food is "excellent" has never eaten at a good rest. Even the desserts we ordered were weak..everything here is so bland..I wonder if they have any salt or pepper or herbs in that kitchen? Come on guys..slow down, taste and season your own food, and get out to a fine dining place once and a while so you can taste what good food really is and bring back some ideas to your own kitchen. Stop selling thin little pan steaks as rib-eyes, I would have paid twice what I paid for your "large" rib eye if it was good, serve a real steak and you will sell more of them. The beer was good, and so was our server, she was a pro..but I could not wait to be liberated from Liberty..not good.

Recently went here for lunch with some co-workers. I got the chicken Slovakia pita but without lettuce. The food was pretty good for the most part and the service was fast and nice. I will probably go back again and try something different.

We were the first to arrive for dinner as we finished work early. We were there around 06.00 pm. In no time the place was packed. We got carried away and we ordered too many dishes and the fact that the portions were very big ruined the night as we almost burst from too much eating. Had the best spring rolls of my life but all the dishes in general were very very good. The service was ok and so were the prices. I 100% recommend it. Something to mention is that they had a limited menu for the High Point Furniture Fair period but we managed to get a few extra dishes out of it.

They have a facebook page. Casual dining, open breakfast, lunch and dinner. Closed Sundays.
We had lunch there and I would have given it 5 stars for the general vibe and delicious food, but the gluten free bread came out soggy and inedible. So, I had to take the filling out and Eat it that way. The filling was delicious. They should buy and toast Udi's chia Miller bread for their gf sandwiches. I know the slices are small but they could tell people that ahead of time and anyone with celiac would understand and be thrilled to have a great gf sandwich.
