Charming little place with fair to good food. Large portions. We had the Chicken Super Quesadilla and a Torta Asada. The sopapillas were outstanding! Best I've ever had. For the topping, honey and corn syrup were provided. Vacation eating rules allowed me to pour on the corn syrup! Yum!

We tried this restaurant again for the first time in some years because we wanted Chicken Fried Steak sandwiches and this is the only place in Hereford to get them. They must have transferred the meat directly from the fryer to the bun. When we got home even the bottom of the sack was greasy. The bottom bun of each sandwich was completely saturated with grease and was inedible. Since we were at home we threw away the bottom bun and ate the rest of the sandwich on a plate with a fork. The employees at this restaurant either don't know what they are doing or simply don't care.

I came here while traveling for work and staying in Hereford. I had heard mixed reviews but decided to check it out. It is an older restaurant and a bit dated but was very clean. It was seat yourself, a server came over quickly with a menu and drink options. She came back with a few minutes to take my order. I got the Ribeye Medium rare. It came with salad bar, it was a great spread of options and kept stocked and clean. My food came out within about 10 minutes. The steak was more medium but still had some red and was plenty juicy. My only complaint was that it as a bit on the bland side compared to what I am use to, but I would return and try it with their "Montreal seasoning" I would recommend this place and try it again.

Across the parking lot from Holiday Inn Express, Hereford, TXNice atmosphere, good food, good service!
Dakota’s Steak house is great eats at a good price. I had the Dakota’s cheese burger and an Ice Tea. The meat was cooked perfect as ordered, and tasted great. The ice tea was fresh and strong. The bun on the burger was fantastic, buttery, and toasted. The total bill was about ten bucks.

Dropped by Rossys Cafe for lunch and were met by the most friendly staff ever. They were pushing some "new" burgers to see which ones to add to the menu, so we tried the Mexican Burger (beef patty, ham, hot dog, and the works.) We split one plus the hand make fries ( they were whole potatoes when we got there, so they could not have been fresher.) Delicious. Don't be put off by the size of the place. It is worth a lunch.

Nice place for a quiet lunch with a friend. The ravioli portion is large enough for two to share, accompanied by buttery garlic knots. Festive red and white checked tablecloths and old country decor add to the ambiance. Reasonably priced entree selections.

Consistently great Asian food, very fresh and flavorful. The bento lunch is wonderful and generously portioned. Great fried rice and several tempura choices, all wonderful. Extensive sushi menu if that's your thing. Haven't tried a steak there yet, but eventually will. Reasonable prices.

This place was recommend by someone who lives in Hereford as a nice Mexican food place. Well, I live in San Jose, CA and know Mexican food. This place was average and odd. Strange thing #1... We spent 20 min. looking for the restaurant at night because they didn't have their lights on the signs or parking lot. Strange thing #2...We walked in and were surprized to see just one large room, like an Elks club hall, and people sitting all over the place. Were told to seat ourselves and then waited for 10 min. for the waitress to come over. (There were only 4 other occupied tables out of 30 in the whole room). Strange thing #3.....got the menus, waited another 10 min. to have our order taken. Got the food, pretty basic enchiladas, salsa tasted like out of a jar, stale chips. My daughters pork asada was so spicy she couldn't eat it. The complimentary sopapias were good but were so hot they burned our lips (no warning on that one). Over all there must be better eats in Hereford. Next time I'm in town I will look harder.

Attendand could dispend more attention to customers. Not everyone is teached on school how to order something at Subway (or McDonalds or KFC). I would suggest the attendands to be more friendly.

Food is always terrific. The food is great and also cooked or prepared with a twist that is delightfully different..
