Definitely a Mom and Pop restaurant...not too large but ample seating. Service was very good and the food was outstanding. Italian wedding soup was the soup du jour and it was to die for. Clams over linguini, shrimp scampi, and the chicken and sausage were all a hit. This place is a must overtime we return to Richmond

The BBQ here is very Texonian in style and selection, which sets the benchmark rather high. They meat the challenge with excellent, and moist, BBQ, coupled with a wide selection of sauces at the table. The sides, especially Baked Beans are also first-rate. All for very reasonable prices. I entered very hungry, ordered the three-meat platter, with a couple of sides, and walked out a satisfied and satiated customer. My heart was filled as well, for at 12 noon everyone, even NFL fans, stand to sing the Star Spangled Banner. I intend to return often.

There were four of us for dinner. One person had french toast, another a vegetarian sandwich, another a philly steak and I had the meatloaf. Everyone agreed, everything was delicious. The atmosphere is pretty cool and the staff very accommodating, and it was very clean. Definitely a good place to eat

An exquisite culinary journey bringing together the contemporary American steakhouse experience with the finest & freshest sushi inspired with creative innovation. Executive Chef Mike Lindsey and Sushi Partner Chef Hai Truong head the culinary team.
We had over 40 more business guest in a private room which served a 3-course meal of steak, chicken, and salmon with green beans and mashed potatoes. I had the steak medium well which was very tender with a brown steak sauce that went great with the steak. The green beans were fresh with a sweet chili sauce sauteed together. The mash potatoes were very delicious but the
Red Salt does not offer bread but they toasted their hamburger buns which had a sweet taste for us.

Growing up in the NYC area i frequently visited China Town and this takes me back to those great food experiences. Finally found a great authentic Chinese restaurant in the Richmond area.
Food was fresh tasting and perfect flavor. If you like spicy Hunan style this is tops. Just wish I lived closer.

Hondos is Richmond's prime destination for great steak. Hondos features a variety of perfectly aged cuts, broiled to your request and served sizzling. The menu features three different cuts of filet mignon, a cowboy rib-eye and a 24oz porterhouse. Hondos also specializes in fresh seafood with such favorites as jumbo lump (absolutely no-filler) crabcakes, South African lobster tails and a daily "fresh catch" to name a few. Whether a romantic evening for two or a business dinner, Hondos is sure to surpass your highest expectations in food and unparalleled service. Why not join us tonight?
This restaurant was very disappointing. Food was ordinary. Service was rude and slow. Waitress was actually snitty - for no apparent reason. Very disappointing experience.

We go to Boychiks for breakfast or lunch whenever we want a basic good meal and fast service. You can be in and out in less than 30 minutes. Hot coffee immediately. Sausage, eggs, omelette or whatever in front of you hot and perfect in 10 minutes. The sandwiches at lunch are great, especially the hot ones. All the waitresses are friendly and on the ball. On Sundays you'd better be there before 9:00 or you will have to wait. But even the waiting line moves pretty fast. Prices are very reasonable.

The burger I had was good. The Blue Black burger was not earth shattering but it did not seem like a frozen patty burger. Fries were not very good. Beer selection is very nice. Hate all the ten ounce beers at the high prices. Need to lower these! Service is good. Nice upscale interior. Not too loud. Only way to see sports on the tv is to sit at the bar. These areas above need improvement to get a better rating and set a better tone for this place.

This hole-in-the-wall cafe is terrific! We had baby back ribs and the pulled pork platter and cleaned our plates. The sides of mac and cheese, broccoli, apples and butter beans were home made and delicious. The cafe is small but the staff were attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back next time we're in Richmond.
Five stars all around!
