I've tried several pizza places and I can say this is my go-to when family visit. The pizza is so delicious and very reasonable prices. Normally I carry out but they do have plenty of tables for dining in.

This restaurant was a house, so there are a few tables in each room. While the lunch food was good (I had the Gobbler), there was no privacy. Everyone in the room was privy to our conversation, and we theirs. Also, my chair stuck out into the main traffic lane. I felt like I was in the way, and kept ducking my head! Just my second visit, and now I remember why it took me so long to go back. Just felt like everyone was on top of each other. I prefer my private space when I dine out. Can't give a higher rating if I don't feel comfortable eating there. I met some friends as they were leaving and they were complaining about a screaming kid in their room in the back. Said they couldn't get out of there soon enough. We heard the kid in our room clear in the front as well.

Very nice!!! Self-started business by a local assistant principal. Flavors are very creative; didn't try a flavor we didn't like! Good quality ice cream! Recommend everyone try this place!

Food and drinks and service were very good but noise level too high for a conversation at our table.

With this being the number 2 best restaurant I was a little disappointed. They don't serve alcohol which was fine. It's a cute place, very clean. I ordered chicken fajitas and it was large pieces of chicken with no onions or peppers. You need to be specif when you order. The cheese appetizer was different too. The prices were good and the portions were big.

The food menu is basically sandwiches, but you have many different options to choose from. All of them are delicious, the ambience is really cozy, located in the old Harlingen downtown with the bricks walls making you feel that you are in NY or somewhere else.

If you are passing through town and don't know your way, this is an okay option. Predictable Texas fare, steaks and fried stuff. Salads... all Texas style big portions. I like that they had some local artisan beers. I was alone and was seated next to the bar. The bar was harmless, right in the middle of the restaurant with sports screens everywhere you looked. I felt safe traveling alone as a woman and got plenty of calories to go on with my travels. Middle price. Not a bad value. Big tables for conversation and was not rushed by servers. The servers were very attentive as a group. Didn't see my waitress much.. but I think that was more my table location. Other people were always happy to help me when I needed it. I liked the peanuts coming out with my beer. Felt like a fancy Roadhouse.

You can't do better than the Rio Grande Grill in Harlingen. The owners really put thought and care into the food they prepare (i.e., brisket that smokes all night to achieve an unmatched tenderness, locally-sourced ingredients), and you can taste it in every bite. My favorites are the brisket sandwich, fried shrimp, enchiladas, potato salad, queso, and guac, but there isn't a thing on the menu I don't like. The atmosphere is great, too -- colorful, friendly, funky, and fresh. Whenever I have someone visiting from out of town, the Grill is the first place I take them. Love, love, love this place.

We visited today for our workplace Christmas gathering; the experience was excellent, I loved the ambience and the quality of the food! The service was excellent too. I will definitely come back and tell others about this wonderful and cozy place!

I went to Pepe's with my family for lunch. I loved this restaurant and would go back in a heartbeat!! The food was prepared as I ordered it and the wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. I loved their beans too - not too much pork. Just enough to be flavorful without being fatty!! The only negative was we had to pay for chips and salsa - very unusual for a Tex-Mex place. Nevertheless, I would go back as the food was delicious!!
