There is always something happening down at Java Jive. In the morning, you can join in on a heated political debate with the Royal Academy of Gentlemen sitting outside, cozy up on a gently used sofa with one of the daily papers or recent magazine, and catch up on e-mail and business with our free wi-fi. Our coffee selection features coffees from all around the world in a variety of flavors and roasts, sure to suit any taste. We take pride in using a local roaster, Chauvin Coffee, a family owned business now in its fourth generation of roast masters. Java Jive also offers a wonderful selection of fresh baked goods and deli items each day. We pride ourselves in having bakers and chefs that work tirelessly to create new and interesting soups, salads and desserts.
I loved this place so much we went twice during our two day visit. Such a neat place. Loved everything about it. Cozy, cute, funky, deliciousness

Wood fired brick oven pizza and Italian cuisine. Nice wine list with special hand picked Italian imports. Cozy and intimate atmosphere sometimes turns to a true Italian style family reunion.<br>Reservations are needed for large parties of 8 or more, especially on weekends. WE ARE OPEN MONMDAY TO SAT 11 AM TO 9 PM<br>Trip Advisor has our hours of operation wrong and we have been unable to get them changed.
Oh, do I wish I lived closer to Hannibal so I could have lunch at The Brick Oven often! The décor makes you feel like you're in Tuscany, the service was terrific, and the food was wonderful. Hubby and I shared a dinner salad, lettuce,...MoreWe look forward to seeing you again soon. Thank you!

Chocolaterie Stam is a neat local shop that has chocolates, wine, coffee, and homemade gelatto. They have some pretty unique flavors of gelatto such as buttered popcorn. My husband and I split a white chocolate mint gelatto and it was awesome! The only reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 stars is because they did not have a public restroom. I think if you have indoor seating and food, you should have a restroom for your paying customers.

We came here for lunch on the recommendation of a local. It did not disappoint. We had to try the fiddlesticks, a bread stick with melted cheese and marinara. We had chicken wraps with homemade potato chips. Both were very good. My son had the 1/2 pound hamburger. Good home cooked meals with a lot of variety in the menu. The soup and salads looked and smelled good too. Will be one of our "go-to" spots our next trip to Hannibal. You can't go wrong with this one.

I feel like this place could be so much more (that goes for a lot of Hannibal, actually). A dedicated ice cream parlor could be so cute, but this is really just a couple of small tables crammed in with gift-shop-type merchandise and some bins of Blue Bunny ice cream. As such, the prices seemed high. If they would go all-in on theme, I think they would be much more popular and worth the expense.

The Mark Twain Dinette has been a Hannibal tradition and must-stop destination since 1942. We are known for our Maid-Rites, homemade frosty mugs of root beer, famous breaded onion rings, and tenderloins. There was a transfer of ownership as of April 1st, 2015.
I used to love the maid rites at this place but something happened.....was it me or the sandwich? One visit I tried them again and they were very greasy so the next visit I went for the burger and it was OK. The fries are great. Texas toast, not so much. We will give it another chance because its always been a favorite when we visit the area.

You will not experience another candy shop like this one! You smell the amazing caramel popcorn aroma just as you walk by and it lures you in! You get a free sample of every popcorn they have on display that day (usually one sweet, one savory, and then original). This is where you will find all the old fashioned kind of candies that you remember from your childhood. It brings a sense of enjoyment to your trip/walk through downtown Hannibal.

My wife and I had a couple of appetizers, two beers, and a Coke here this evening. The chicken wings were the meatiest I've had in a while. The pretzel and cheese was good too. Im glad we sat in the top floor Riverview area too.

Great food... hot, well done! Atmosphere is great. Price was higher than I expected for dinner. At least $10 per person plus drinks and appetizers. Also the hot tea was very bitter and cost $2.15 per person. Since it was over brewed, we didn't even finish a pot and it cost $4.30.
