We stopped here for breakfast and decided to eat outside since the weather was cooler. My husband ordered eggs with potatoes and bacon. The potatoes were delicious. I ordered the BLT on rye and a cup of fruit. The BLT was one of the best I have had for a long, long time. Service was courteous and efficient.

We visit the the Salsa Grill at least 2-3 times a month. It is our go to spot. Everything I have had has been wonderful! The personalized service at Salsa in unmatched! The owner Jay makes a point to talk with (not just speak to) all of the customers when he is there. You may even be lucky enough to sample (for free) something he is considering adding to the menu.

Dunkin chain consistency with easy access to highways and public transportations. Appears to be a relatively new location. Part of the building is currently unoccupied but DD is there and is open until 9pm amd coffee was fresh even just a few minutes before closing time.

Pioneer Pit Beef is a prime example of Baltimore's coal-fired shacks that turn out simply grilled, gargantuan hunks of rosy beef, thinly sliced and served on not-too-soft/not-too-hard rolls, with your choice of zesty condiments. Pioneer is utterly casual - seating is limited to a handful of outdoor picnic tables. The beef is tasty, and you'll get it cooked to your preferred doneness - you're always offered a sample to taste before they make your sandwich. Make sure to include tiger sauce in your condiments - a little horseradish doesn't hurt, either (much). Bonus note: Pioneer shares its parking lot with a small liquor store, so beers can be purchased to enjoy with your sandwich at one of the picnic tables.

They do not have a liquor license so everyone was bring beverages from the liquor store across the street. Tea, coffee or Pepsi products. Couldn't they at least make a lemonade or something? Food was quite good with nice sized portions. Dessert was nice and we brought some home.

We still mourn the loss of their full service restaurant in Pikesville. However, their little Mexican Grill spot just up the street is such a find.
After several visits, Mari Luna continues to serve excellent food people hungry for non-chain restaurant fare. No bland factory food here! The flavors of the dishes, the authentic colors of the sauces betrays the beating heart of a very fine Mexican restaurant hidden in a small space.
I don't know if it matters which dish you order, it will be served hot and full of authentic flavor to please those of us who have traveled to Mexico, Texas and New Mexico.
** The green tomatillo sauce is a flat out winner with that authentic New Mexico flavor and kick.

...the food is good quality and good sized portions, standard kind of seafood diner menu, with a loud and bright atmosphere. Not very cozy, can seem raucous, okay for kids, not so much for talking. Loud music often. Good value for the dinners and decent service, polite if not that attentive.

My daughter and I enjoyed the Maryland Mud, a rich chocolate ice cream with Oreos and chocolate bits. The shop has sundaes, shakes, and floats and the most unique, tasty flavors you'll experience.
On our visit, there were about ten flavors based on game shows. See photo for details.
We arrived at noon, which is opening time, and avoided the crowds that are normal in the evening hours.
There were three tables with four seats so expect to walk and eat.
Well worth the trip.

The subs are good, but I usually go for the fried chicken. You can also find the cheapest gas in the area right outside their door.

Brilliant! From the wonderful, warm friendly service to the fantastic food, Scittino's is absolutely wonderful.
The Deli makes the most incredible sandwiches - thick and juicy and stuffed with delicious ingredients! The Italian Cold Cut sub is made with real Italian - mortadella, salami, cheeses - I dare you to eat the whole thing! Their Ruebens and Rachels drip down your fingers - chin - elbows! They're real 6 napkins sandwiches. The bread - I have to talk about the bread! REAL - the subrolls are crusty and chewy - ready to soak up the juicies! The rye toast is thick and crunchie - yet soft on the inside - beautifully buttered and toasted on the grill! The chicken wings - are THE BEST in the area! They are ENORMOUS! I wouldn't want to run into the chicken they came from! Yet - they're served screaming hot - crispy with the perfect buffalo sauce! And don't forget the friend chicken! The pieces you want perfectly breaded - juicy and crispy! Served with fries and slaw! - a perfect meal. Or actually 2 meals! Plenty to take home!
And now the pizza! PERFECT! The proportions of crust to sauce to cheese to meat is perfection! The crust so thin and light! The sauce is their homemade marinara and the meats are the best quality available. The absolute best pizza we've ever eaten.
The butcher shop is classic - old world charm! Like everything else at Scittinios it focuses on customer service. The co-owner, Sal, and son Lenny and the rest of the guys are ready to help you out! The quality of the food is unsurpassed! The prices are crazy reasonable - in many cases better than the local supermarkets. You can't beat it! There's nothing like a Scittinos Prime Rib for Christmas dinner! Nothing better!
Thank you all our Scittino Friends! See you later this week!
