We ate here with our 6 year old son on a trip to Guardamar, Really friendly and welcoming staff, speak limited English but was not a problem. We had the mixed meat Argentinean grill which was very nice. A bowl of pasta for our son with a bolognase sauce which they kindly put in a separate bowl for him to serve himself incase he didn't like it! very thoughtful and welcomed as parents of a fussy eater!

My husband & I frequently visit this restaurant and every time we enjoyed the experience. The staff and owner were excellent. The food was home cooked from scratch and nothing is too much trouble for them. The service is quick. A bit too quick for our liking as we like to enjoy the wine first. Half a bottle of good wine is served per customer as part of the 9 euro meal. A little extra salt added to the fish would be good but then thats an individuals choice. Its nice to sit out when you want only a snack and a drink. Its a nice place to socialise too but not with young children.

Just been for 2nd time and have been delighted for 2nd time.
They do a 3 course meal with wine etc. For for a fixed price (with options for upgrading main course) from a selection of choices . . . We upgraded to fillet steaks and it came to €50 for two. The food quality and presentation was exemplary.
If you go for the ribs main, take help as its huge!
It has an excellent setting with a great ambiance and the staff /owners are brilliant and attentive.
Ideal for a special occasion or just to spoil yourself. If it's a Birthday occasion, let them know and they'll celebrate it /embarrass you accordingly . . .

In a nutshell the team at Rivingtons Restaurant is striving to bring you quality freshly prepared food in a relaxing environment with good friendly service. Located next to the pine forest a 10 minute walk down the boardwalk it is in a perfect location. We are constantly trying to develop the business to bring you an enjoyable dining experience at a reasonable cost.
We look forward to visiting Rivingtons even before we leave to go on holiday. The young owner is just lovely and can't do enough to please, her staff are brilliant and the food is wonderful. We had a superb meal last night and delicious coffees en route to the beach the day before . We will be returning tomorrow night for dinner too. The hake with a creamy crunchy topping was superb , the sword fish is to die for , the goat's cheese dishes are delicious and the list goes on ......
We have introduced our friends to this special little restaurant and they are as equally impressed. We eat here at least twice a week in the month we are here , even though it is a twenty minute drive. Can't recommend it highly enough.

First visited her a few months ago. Could not remember name of restaurant to review then. On that visit four of us had the seafood platter. Excellent meal, attentive service, more than enough seafood for the four of us.
Today's visit was my wife & I. Restaurant was busy at 1400 hrs. Would advise folk book a table on 966 727 783.
Wife went for the rabbit, which she enjoyed. I went for the Pulpo al la brasa, which was tender & tasty.
Service was a little slow when wanting more drinks / the bill, but with so many people eating I can understand this.
By the time we left around 1520 hrs. the restaurant was packed inside & out. Mostly Spanish, therefore noise levels rather high.
Would we re-visit, very much so, would book a table if more than the two of us though.

Restaurante a pie de playa con terraza & vistas al mar.
Desayunos y comidas. Cenas en temporada de verano.
Especialidad en paellas y pescados de la bahia.
Fantastic service with top class seafood - the location is stunning - right on the beach with the crashing waves as a dramatic backdrop. Varied menu - but nothing surpasses the Gamba roja and the seafood paella. At ten euros a bottle, the Verdejo 2015 wine perfectly complements the seafood. There is also a wide variety of dishes for non-seafood lovers. Savour every second - you will have to travel far and wide across the world for such an experience. The cortados also go down a proverbial treat!

A no frills Chinese restaurant. Quality of food pretty good. Nothing fancy but a wide choice of dishes- all for good value. A very generous sized glass if drinking the house wine which actually isn’t a bad wine anyway. Happy to give four stars, mainly for combination of quality but plain food for a very reasonable price. Service pretty loud but efficient and friendly.

"El Jardin" Restaurant is located in a privileged environment. It has a wide glassed Terrace from which you will be able to gaze at the see while being surrounded by a warm ambience and enjoy the best mediterranean cuisine. This fabulous combination, together with a friendly and professional service and an exclusive cellar grant "El Jardin" the privelege of being one of the most recommended restaurants in most national guides: Michelin, Gourmetour, Repsol (Campsa)... Since 2011 we have aditionally been organizing "Beach Weddings".
Recently tried El Jardin as part of the Gastronomy festival that is taking place in the town. Unfortunately we found the food to be too experimental and they seem to be concentrating on presentation rather than flavour so not a good balance.
The staff were ok however they weren't very helpful when asked about the food and how it was prepared etc. Same goes when pouring the featured wines. Definitely benefit with some product training internally.
Not one I would recommend based on our experience.
