The inland city of Guadalajara is bursting with history and culture. Many attractions are in the city's historic center and in the neighboring city of Zapopan. Museums, parks and churches flourish alongside bullfights, rodeos and soccer (futbol). Nearby are the towns of Tequila, where the liquor of the same name is produced, and Tlaquepaque and Tonala, where artisans create an abundance of Mexican handicrafts. Mariachi, which originated in the area, is a common sight and sound in Guadalajara.

Came here after Reading all the good review about this place. But maybe just personal preference, we found it just ok. Nothing special. The cocktails were good, appetizers were ok. But really nothing special about the main. The cod was super expensive compared to the rest of the main. It was a special and was not on the menu. We were surprised when we got the bill! If it were good, I don’t mind paying for it. Or maybe fish is just more expensive in Guadalajara.

This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in all Mexico. With an asian / mexican fusion cuisine, the mix of flavors you have as a result is marvelous and unique. They also have a great selection of house made cocktails, being my favorites the ones based in Mezcal (try the “Pega Duro” : ist just memorable! Also, if you sit at the bar, ask for Alejandra: she is very nice and can recommend a very good meal and a great mezcal to go with it. She is eager to help and always with a warmth smile. I look forward in coming back real soon!

Beautiful food, good cocktails, Gardens and service. The sashimi was fantastic, and the martini's were the best.

Known for their huge selection of Tequila, and the food is excellent as well. A particular standout is the Chile en Nogada, made with 37 different ingredients. ¡Great for business and family!
The restaurant has been in Guadalajara for several years, in fact you will find several La Tequila restaurants in other areas. The decoration is nice and pleasant. The restaurant has a family and friends atmosphere. The service was relatively good, as there were too many customers and it was a little difficult for the waiter to attend my table. The quality of the food was not so good. I could say that it did not impress me. Good prices.

Kamilos 333 is well known for its quality and great service since 1975, it’s located in the renowned “Barrio de Sta. Teresita”. The ambiance and decoration that consists mainly of vintage field tools evokes the antique rural Jalisco. Their signature dish is the budget friendly “Karne en su jugo” which is a 100% local dish. For what we mentioned above and for its family oriented and traditional nature, it is in the top ten essential restaurants to be visited in Guadalajara. We hope to see you soon!
Very grateful that a waiter at another restaurant recommended this place to us. The specialty is Carne en es Jugo (meat cooked for a long time in it's own juices, kind of like pulled pork, except it's beef). This is a wonderful dish and one you must try while in Guadalajara. Kamilos333 and the place right next door are famous for this dish. However Kamilos333 has way more atmosphere and doesn't look or feel like a "take out". (The place next door has won the Guinness Book of World Records for the Fastest Food Delivery, but we were not in a rush). The service at Kamilos was wonderful and we had a great conversation in English with the owner. This is a very casual family sort of place. Unique Mexican furnishings too. There is a Sorbet place across the street, which we heard wonderful things about, but they were closed when we got out.

Chef Darren Walsh, who has worked with some of the best contemporary Michelin starred Chefs in London, like Gordon Ramsay, Richard Neat and Pierre Koffman, offers an interesting array of contemporary fine dining selection including the deconstruction and reinterpretation of some typical regional dishes. A very unique experience!
I took a local friend along with the tasting menu and was impressed with the range of food, flavours, textures and combinations. Each course not only looked well plated it was full of flavour showcasing local ingredients or tastes. Definitely the best meal I have had in Guadalajara.

Love this place! It's in a nice area of the city, where you can get a glimpse of locals having interesting conversations and a cool and relax ambience. Burgers are delicious, and they always have a good selection on craft beer. Don't pass on the desserts, they're delicious too.

For an impeccable business meal or a memorable dinner Ofelia Bistro Cava & Cocina. Located on Av. Pablo Neruda, in a magnificently acclimated house, full of intimate details that its owners have preserved to delight their clients and friends, presenting its great French and World cuisine as well as its exceptional underground cava.
Gorgeous elegant restaurant with multi levels and wonderful wait staff and managers. The food was superb and the wine was perfect pairing. Go with the chef's recommendations and you won't be disappointed.... All of the food was delicious and beautifully presented.
