Parking in back or along street. I often stop here after riding motorcycles.
Located on the corner by the gas station of the main road. It's convenient.
More importantly is their food is great and service is always excellent. Prices are reasonable. I enjoy their meats especially steak.

Luke Miller has operated a small (27 person) coffeeshop in the parking lot East of the big WalMart store in a Grimes, Iowa. He is open only mornings Monday through Saturday. His prices are competitive. He makes all kinds of coffee drinks and smoothies. He is busy early when people are going to work. There are four comfortable big leather chairs in the front. There are a few other tables and chairs in the back. There is not sufficient space for a big meeting and there is no private meeting room. It is a great place for a couple of friends to meet for a personal chat.

I stepped out of my box and tried something different this visit. I had the double stuffed pork chop with apple, raisin, bourbon stuffing. This was such a big meal I did not even eat half of one of the pork chops. The pork was so moist the bourbon sauce out of this world. We had great service. I will be back when I am in Des Moines

We went to a late lunch. This place is so busy over lunch, they were reeling it's not a bad thing. Service was what we needed but I was on a leisurely schedule. The food was good but the portion size was much smaller than the last time I was there. I'm a little girl but this left me hungry which NEVER happens. I've eaten here a dozen or more times and it's usually exceptional or at least above average.

Haven't been into a real Starbucks location as we only have Starbucks located inside of grocery stores where I live, so it was nice to go into an actual Starbucks store. We were leery as we were visiting at probably a busy time (7-7:30 a.m.) and don't do crowds all that well. We were shocked when we immediately ordered 2 hot breakfast sandwiches, coffee and chocolate croissants. This place was abuzz with people going in/out with only a few patrons actually sitting. We noted that staff were on top of things to include the young lady who must have been handling the mobile orders. We loved watching her make drinks, put them on the counter, and people just come in and get them and out the door they went. At one time there must have been 8 drinks on the counter with people going in/out over the half hour we were there. So while this location was busy, the staff were on top of orders via mobile, drive through, and inside the store. Pretty amazing. We loved our hot breakfast sandwiches (mine was chicken with wonderfully tasting cilantro in it), coffee and chocolate croissants. The display of teamwork to serve the customers at this Starbucks was phenomenal. Would definitely come back for breakfast.

This was my first time here and we managed to miss the Saturday dinner crowd...it got crowded shortly after we ordered. Our service was great...drinks and food. My wife really enjoyed the free popcorn (regular and caramel mix).
We ordered the broccoli cheddar bites (not my favorite) and the Reuben pizza which was great! The pizza is thin crust and lots of cheese.
I would come back again.

Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant providing legendary food with legendary service. Texas Roadhouse specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. We also serve ice cold beer and legendary margaritas. Treat your family and friends to a night at Texas Roadhouse.
Family of 5 ate here for our son's 10th bday. Great experience again. It was packed for a Wednesday evening, but service was great! Food was hot and delicious. THis location is top notch when it comes to Texas Roadhouse restaurants!! Love it.

I again looked to Trip Advisor to see where to eat. This time it was in Grimes Iowa.
Right there sitting at number 3 was the Corn Patch and I was 1 mile away.
Everyone here on the website said the Potato Soup was great, and yes it was. And it was Filling. And Seconds were offered as well!
I had the Prime Rib today. the 12oz seemed so much bigger than just 12oz.
I asked for it medium rare and that was how it was served. Hot, and quite appetizing.
You will see by the picture that cut it already before remembering I wanted to take a picture for my entry here.
Could not resist. :-)
Along with the Prime Rib and the thick Potato Soup, there was a mini-loaf of home-backed bread, soft butter, a plate of unique cole slaw that had a nice bite to it, and Corn Patch's own hashbrowns with cheese inside, fried to a slight crispiness.
There was so much food my belly was so satisfied, that I went back to the room and had a nice nap :-)
This place is a keeper.
The wait-staff so friendly and the air conditioning on a 95+ day was working perfectly.
Wifi was available, and was fast.
I left a healthy tip and would so so again on my next visit there.
I appreciate a waitress and restaurant that goes the extra mile.
Corn Patch is that kind of place.

Ate here yesterday. Our server was amazing. Ordered the waffle fry nachos. Waitress came back and said that the nachos were delayed b/c the cook messed up. Brought the nacho out and they were missing the chicken. Our server was very apologetic and then they got the correct item out. Manager came over to apologize. It was not a big deal, but I appreciated how attentive they were. We got the dinner for 2 -ribs, ham and pulled pork that comes w/ 4 sides. WOW WOW WOW. We have eaten at this location before and other Jethro's location. I will admit that this was the best meal we have ever had at this place. Meat was moist and so tasty. The sides were wonderful too.
Best part about coming here yesterday was our server though, she truly was wonderful. Thank you to her and the manager! We will be back.

Restaurant was recommended to us by the manager of the campground where we were staying. I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere of the restaurant when we entered. The restaurant appeared to be VERY high end, but as it turned out it was a little expensive but no so much that a family could have a meal there without breaking the bank. The food was done up very nicely. My wife had the Fettuccini with Lobster, and I had the FIlet Mignonette. Both meals were prepared right to our expectations. If you are in the West Des Moines IA area, I would highly recommend this restaurant.
