Apollon stands alone as a no excuses high end restaurant in the Fox Valley. Witness the venue...tablecloth, China, candlelight, attentive but not intrusive service, daily specials and fresh quality ingredients always. Popular for sure and rightly so. Weekend or PAC nights clearly require a reservation for any hope of a table. To expect otherwise is folly. Restaurants of this caliber in a major city like Chicago would require weeks advance notice for a weekend table. That a walk in would be accommodated on any terms in the setting of a full house at a peak weekend hour speaks to the care taken in welcoming all to the bounty of greek freshness. Every effort is made, always, to see to it that the customer is pleased. This is a rare commodity in the modern broken world and one that the now deceased founder, Stavros, God rest his soul, insisted upon and that the new (if 4 years can be thought of as novel) manager, Craig attends to without flaw.
Modesto is the maestro in the kitchen but has never set foot in the front of house role and why would he - his job is to execute the menu without exception from the kitchen which he does without fail.
Tonight was no exception. Snowy weekday and only one other table at 8:45 pm. Welcomed warmly and never hurried with a memorable meal relaxed until departure after routine close despite that for the last hour we were alone in the restaurant. Very, very special and unique in the fox valley.
At meals end, Craig shared that a long time patron and loved regular unknown to us had recently passed, with a wake this past Saturday, and dear family seated to mark the occasion where upon the family shared a bottle of 100+ year old Metaxa from the lost soul's bounty with the restaurant staff. That says it all. A poignant moment, a priceless gift and witness to the love from the knowing patron to the staff and house that has been rightly held dear for so long. Of course all seated are welcomed in this way and of course things so meaningful take time to execute. All who have had the reasonable patience to partake at Apollon are richly rewarded and welcomed to the fold. Beyond belief was that the family then instructed Craig to share whatever was left with others in the memory of the deceased without cost. Wow. Staggering. Tonight we were so blessed.
A gem of a restaurant far beyond the usual local fare and one to indulge in and celebrate.
I will never forget the founder Stavros dancing to the still played greek background music with the time honored Syrtaki dance spontaneously and coming to our table with joy in his heart embracing us and saying "America, what a wonderful country!". This was 5 years ago and with his picture and painting on the wall tonight I felt that he was with us still and will always be.
I lost my father this year and Apollon was always his special place. We toasted his life and memory with a meal there with his 88 year old widow, my mother and family and the current staff shortly after his passing as he would have wanted and as only they could do.
Restaurants such as this are increasingly rare and provide so much more than nutrition - this is the stuff of life.
Treat yourself and darken the door with joy in your heart and a desire to live life to its fullest. Never hurry. Life worth living is just that and always worth the wait. OPA!

Go to the Twist several times a year. It is only open in the Spring, Summer and Fall. The treats are excellent and made from ice milk. But if I didn't tell you, you would think it was rich ice cream. Now for the down side. They only offer small and large, no medium size. Second, it is very pricey compared to other choices. And lastly, there is a single drive up line that you cannot order until you are at the window where you get the treats/food. I have seen more than a dozen cars in line and you can expect to be there for 30 to 45 minutes. They really need to set up a pre-order speaker or window if they want to have a drive thru. If you see more than 4 or 5 cars in line, park and go in.

We are passionate about food and people. We are committed to connecting ourselves and our guests to the food that we eat, offering from scratch and made to order dishes in an atmosphere that is welcoming and familiar. We source from our "backyard" when possible, supporting local and WI made / grown products. We work hard together, we give back generously to the community that supports us and we have fun while doing it. We will never stop trying to be the best we can be for our guests and for each other.
Excellent food served here, unique brunch and lunch plates. But the line and wait is always long, and there is little space to wait where you’re not in the flow of the staff. Twice we’ve eaten here and chose to eat at the bar to avoid waiting 40 minutes. Very trendy space but it’s loud so not easy to carry on a normal level of conversation.

Mexican Restaurant in the Fox cities. Tuesdays and Thursdays margaritas 2x1 Happy Hour from 3 to 6pm
Restaurant was clean, spacious, and inviting.
Staff was friendly and attentive.
Service was quick.
Food was a bite pricy in my opinion. Most dinner dish ranged from $12-15. Food portion was great. Taste was not bad. The chip and salsa was good. Water tasted weird, like rusty sink water or something.

My bride and I love the “low fat the chicken cheese-less”! It’s amazing and wonderful flavorful! We have enjoyed most of the “meatless” varieties of Stucs pizza and all are so wonderful!
One of our kids loves Stucs Calzones! He’s a good eater and the Large Calzone is a little much for him! He will get the small which is a hearty meal that he enjoys!
The other kid loves the salads! He commented that a pizza place makes an awesome salad! He especially loves their Apple Pecan salad!
We love Stucs for the over the top flavor and we enjoy the quality ingredients and the customer service that Stucs brings to us as a customer!
We enjoy carry out but we enjoy the dine in experience as well!
Highly recommended!!!

We have visited here several times before and the food is pretty good and plentiful. However, wait times are long even for simply prepared appetizers. Also, if you ask for extra sauce, which is usually complimentary at most Indian restaurants, they charge extra. This seemed very mean-spirited and ungracious after the long wait for food and the number of guests at the table. We had five people in our party and a very tiny portion of cilantro sauce to go around for TWO appetizers and five meals. Cheapens the restaurant.

Located in Greenville Wisconsin, 3 minutes west of the Fox River Mall, this placed is known by locals for great pizza, Friday night perch, and old fashions, a local favorite drink.

I went here with a work group for lunch, and the service and food were very bad. Our waitress acted as if she didn't want us in the place, and made me feel unwelcome. I ordered a simple burger and fries, it arrived slower than typical and while it wasn't cold, it certainly felt like it had been sitting awhile. The taste wasn't bad, but not worth trying ever again. It's difficult to produce a bland tasting burger in cow-rich Wisconsin, but Route 15 did just that.
The bar itself was large, but not set up very well for dining. The seating was high tables with stools, more suited to drinking beer than eating food.

Built in 2010, our newest location is conveniently located near Fox River Mall, and is a perfect stop on your way to, or from, work. We are easily accessible from Greenville, Hortonville, and Neenah areas. This store, led by Jerry Manderfield, is where all the baking of cakes and tortes is done. This is also the place where you can find Matt Manderfield working on muffins, and maybe even Dennis (Dad!) being creative – unless it’s a nice summer day, of course. All of our experienced decorators are in this facility, professionally decorating all of our cakes, cookies, and cupcakes. We also have a beautiful wedding cake room for brides to relax and discuss their dream cake with our consultants. Wedding cakes are also done here, from start to finish, by award winning decorators, and Lois Manderfield (Mom to all these boys!) decorates these as well.
I phoned the owner, Doug Manderfield, a second time. (He didn't return my first call.) I wanted to find out which items are their specialties and what I might want to purchase as a first time customer. He said his sales staff could help me. I asked him if he knew what items they sell and he said of course, he trains his sales staff. I said then I'm talking to the right person. He said he didn't have time to talk to me and wanted to transfer me to his sales staff. I said that was really sad when a business doesn't have time for their customers. I said I'll do business with Simple Simon because that owner took several minutes to tell me all about her bakery.
