We needed a place to stay while visiting a dying family member at the hospital. So the no frills was fine with us. Simple basic room, a little small but clean and adequate. We stayed in room #1 which is at the far end of the hall, furthest from the bar area. Our room is also the coldest and the first night we did not realize there was a space heater in the room. It was a bit nippy at 55 degrees but the space heater the second night made it toasty warm. (The weather was 10 degrees above zero outside)
The floors are the original wood with carpet laid over, so the floors creak a bit. The bathroom had a tile floor and newer sink. Antique dresser, flat screen t.v. (Never turned it on), a small fridge and good wifi signal. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was not much as other reviewers mentioned. When we came out of room in the morning they were out of coffee and pastries and muffins...most things. The employee in charge was coming in at the same time and realized the breakfast was lacking. They quickly went to the nearby bakery to restock and got the coffee going. You are given two keys with your room. A key to your door and one to the front door of the hotel. My husbands front door key did not work. They said they would fix it and leave one in our room, but we didn't see one yet (end of day) The staff seems very accommodating and helpful. The disconnect may be due to the fact that it is not staffed 24/7 like most chain hotels. Ice is gotten from the bar downstairs. I felt like I was staying at my Grandmas, which is all good for me. I am not sure I would stay here alone as a single woman..but with my husband and daughter it was just fine. Recommend The Green Harp half a block South for breakfast!

Everyone is always fantastic at this year-round DQ. Never had any issues, and have been here many many times. Love their cakes and they will always go out of their way to help with whatever you want!

They have the best Parmesan crusted pan fried trout as well as amazing fish tacos. On the warmer days you can sit on the deck overlooking the lake which is just beautiful. If you are not a fish lover, they have other menu items, these two are just two of my favorite.

This location just opened a few weeks ago, so it was very busy on the Friday night we visited. We still received our food pretty quickly and our large order was 100% accurate. Staff was friendly and service was great.
Only downside is that the parking lot was very tight and a little difficult to get around in; but it's understandable seeing it was so busy.

Margo's has the best cream cheese stuffed French toast with strawberries!! The staff is fantastic, super friendly. Margo's is a great hometown restaurant!

The Burrito Loco is my favorite. My daughter and I both ordered it for dinner, and I would have given it an excellent rating, but this dish is supposed to include beef, chicken, and shrimp in the burrito. While I had 6 shrimp in mine...my daughter didn't find a single one in hers.

Had breakfast here, the food was great. Had a waffle with real maple syrup and hash browns with cheese. Service was fine. I will be back!

We visited here with family on a very busy Saturday. To save time, we all ordered the pizza buffet. Not being a fan of buffets, I was skeptical. It was very good. The line moved well, the food was hot and very tasty. They had some good desserts too. We will definitely return!

My husband and I stopped here for dinner with our son because we had a gift certificate. It was quiet which was fine with us, the waitress was great, very friendly and attentive. Our app was super garlicky, inedible and the entrees were average and very overpriced, we still ended up spending $50 with our gift certificate. I doubt that we'll make a return visit.

Been here on three separate occasions and absolutely loved their breakfast meals. HUGE portions so would always take food home for a second meal. The waitresses were all very nice and super friendly. Its not a glitz and glamour place, but if you give them a try, you will be happy you did.
