Voted best place for coffee, breakfast and lunch in the Lake Country. Serving locally roasted coffee ground daily, fresh daily baked goods, legendary breakfast sandwiches, huge omeletes, light and fluffy buttermilk pancakes, organic yogurt, specialty sandwiches and salads and homeade soups. We use only the freshest and best ingredients available.
We were looking at properties with a realtor. After we finished for the day we needed a bite to eat before heading home. Our realtor recommended Cafe 44, so we decided to give them a try. We both ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was an excellent choice. Service was quick and price was very reasonable. Great place for lunch!

Also known as The Grill. I tried this place time 3 times for lunch. The only good thing I can say about it is that it is inexpensive. Only once did an item I ordered appear as described in the menu. I should have complained but I didn't. The first thing I tried was the pimento cheese grilled cheese ( okay but runny), next I tried the roast beef sandwich ( awful-beef was over cooked and tasteless) and lastly a shrimp poboy ( came on cold toasted bread with cocktail sauce instead of tartar sauce and over fried shrimp). I took it apart only eating the shrimp and cold french fries. My reason for a poor rating instead of terrible was because my husband enjoyed a chef salad. We will not be returning.

Known for our casual atmosphere and outstanding food, delivered with exceptional service, the Bone Island Grillhouse strives to make every guest's experience a memorable one.
Went there on a warm Indian Summer night only to find out they closed the outside dining a week earlier (in October). A noticeable effort is made by the management to make sure everything is good with your dining experience. Wait Staff was friendly and prompt. Food is excellent. This has a Sports Bar and Grill atmosphere that is just fine for the whole family. We had the "Italian" Sausage Dip w/ Nacho Chips which was very tasty followed by the Prime Rib Special. Large portions and served just right. Would have gotten 5 Circles if they would have payed attention to the weather and opened up the outdoor dining. (It was over 75 degrees out at 7PM).

Great southern home cooking- Southern Living named their buttermilk pie best in Georgia.
It was lunchtime, and time to stop before continuing on our journey.
As always, we consulted Trip Advisor. We haven't been disappointed with recommendations yet.
Located about 20 minutes from I20, our waitress, Mackenzie made us feel right at home. We weren't rushed or ignored, even though it was a busy lunch crowd.
Hubby had chicken salad on a fresh baked croissant and was thrilled it had grapes and walnuts and not drowned in mayo. My choice was grilled fish on a hoagie with mashed potatoes that still had the lumps.
A sweet and delicious ending was the buttermilk pie that is out of this world.
Worth the stop.

Next to the large resort of Reynolds Plantation. A true find. A group of 6 golfers choose to eat here 3 of the 5 nights we stayed in the area. Extremely well priced with every type of food- fresh seafood, red meat, chicken, pasta, ribs (best we ever had). Not extensive wime list, but very well priced.
WOW! Great food, Excellent Service, Reasonably Priced & Very Popular! The Silver Moon opens at 5:00 PM. We arrived early and as expected, waited in line with others for the door to open. That's how good this place is!
Our food was excellent and the portion large, couldn't eat everything. This is generally a casual restaurant, attire is flexible. Ginger, the owner, stopped at our table to visit and inquire on our meals. Ginger is a very pleasant & engaging lady who also makes all the desserts. Speaking of desserts, we each ordered desserts, all were wonderful and again a large portion. Peanut butter Pie, Strawberry Shotcake & Caramel Fudge Cheesecake.
This restaurant offers Bar Service and has an excellent selection of quality wine. Live music every Wednesday & every other Tuesday. Our waitress, Sherrel, is wonderful. She has worked here for 5 years. Ask for her, you will be glad you did.

Where can you get a choice of burger, chicken fingers or hotdog to include a soft drink, fries and a sundae all for $5? Quick service and clean property at this location. I don't drink many soft drinks, so request a plain sundae and make a root beer instead.

Their signature pasta dish is store bought tri-colored tortellini with some peas mushrooms and pancetta with an average Alfredo sauce. Wow! The lasagne meat sauce was awful with a very strange canned flavor. Not one dish is made from scratch. No homemade pasta. Wine list is below average. I just don't see the difference between this place and a chain...it's actually worse. This is not fine dining so you will be dissatisfied if that is what you are expecting. Which we were. The cannoli had Hershey's syrup on it. Will not be going back.

Dining on Lake Oconee.
Everything was great at Gaby's during our stay... especially for our welcome dinner event. The staff was great!

Modern American choice with a warm vibe spotlighting award winning steaks, craft beers & unique cocktails. Amazing seafood, pastas, salads, and more. Great Food, Great Service, Every Time!
Had dinner here on 2/13 to avoid the Valentine's Day crowds. Loved it - solid steaks (had a Boursin stuffed filet and a ribeye) cooked nicely, good quality meat, accompanying loaded baked potato and mushroom risotto were also solid. Included side salad with balsamic dressing had fresh ingredients, tangy dressing, and sunflower seeds (a nice touch). Pre-meal bread was fresh, accompanied by sundried tomato topping for a change of pace. Fried cheese appetizer was the typical mozzarella sticks but with unique sauces. It wasn't the most elegant plating or tableware, however the knowledgeable waitstaff, owner/chef coming by to check on us, and fair (for Greensboro, anyway) pricing more than made up for it. Didn't try the seafood dishes, but they have 'em here, too.
