Wonderfully authentic espresso drinks, loose tea, steamers, chai & italian sodas. Light coffee house fare, for breakfast and lunch. Bakery items. Casual and comfortable setting. Look for us across from McDonald's. Open 5:00am-3:00pm Mon-Fri 6:00am-3:00pm Sat & Sun
I have been here a couple of times. The fist time with my daughters and next time with my mother. Both times were fun, food, tea and coffee were awesome. The atmosphere was fun, there were old trivia pursuit cards so we played while waiting,we laughed and a real laid back time. My mother loved the tea it was quiet at this time so it was a great place to just sit and talk.

On a cold snowy morning in Wyoming behind an inconspicuous door we were welcomed into a wonderful warm and homely place. We had a terrific breakfast, great food and service - also excellent coffee. Very worthwhile stopping here and hitching for awhile.

Penny's is located right of I-80 on the west end of town, so it's very convenient.
Green River restaurants close at nine, but the Oak Tree Inn sat right behind Penny’s Silver Diner, a 24/7 flash from the sixties with Chuck Berry, The Beach Boys, and the Soul Train hit parade playing on the sound system non-stop. We ambled over and sampled their surprisingly tasty burgers and fries before crashing for the night. And the breakfast selection is outstanding and very reasonably priced.

Mi Casita has been a family owned business for more than 10 years. Bringing the southwest of Wyoming authentic and affordable Mexican food. Preparing every dish with fresh ingredients and making everything from scratch. Come and enjoy the best food in town!
We stopped in for lunch. The service was good. The food was just o.k. The place was empty except for one other table and they appeared to be family of the owners. Mi Casita had a for sale sign in the front window and perhaps, the owners are just tired. Tired is an appropriate word for the appearance of the restaurant and the flavor of the food. We would not return to Mi Casita.

The chips, salsa, and bean dip were great. The "Primo" was excellent -- chicken, steak, and shrimp. We also loved the carnitas.
We didn't care for the seafood burrito. And we mid-understood the photos and descriptions of a shrimp dish. It was good, and healthier than the one I hoped to have, but wasn't the one I expected, pictured with cheese on it.
The margaritas are good. Be careful how you order them. We ordered a pitcher (said to serve four) and we got four large glasses full PLUS a full pitcher!

We have visited other Little Americas in the past and found them to be nice, clean, and well apportioned. This one leaves a lot to be desired. Pros: gas, diesel, food, lodging, RV parking. Cons: food is a grill run by unsupervised teens, bathrooms are dirty, gift shop is chaotic. Did not and will not stay as went in hotel to ask for information and was met by an extremely rude desk clerk. Staff overall unfriendly. We will skip this Little America in the future unless desperate.

Primarily Chinese but very good steaks and burgers.
The owners are usually on the premisis and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
The business supports the local community in many ways from High School sports to community events.
Can't say enough good things!

This place is hard to find, up from the road and inside the bowling alley. I was welcomed and seated promptly in a a cool restaurant that was more New England fish shop than diner. They feature a menu with extensive seafood choices and steaks, as well as burgers and sandwiches. The fish tacos were marvelous, with a nice remoulade and fresh salsa and cabbage, and enough tuna for 5 tacos! Good service, too.
I will return.

This place is probably the best Chinese food I've ever tasted - and the staff is just as amazing...a hard combo to find! We were so surprised to find this place in Green River. The prices are reasonable and totally worth it! We had been traveling with a 1 year old that hadn't slept in 2 days and happened to have hours of car repairs done in Green River (it always seems to happen when you're out of town!!), so we were tired, hungry and frustrated. I'm almost glad we had car trouble because we found this place! The food was SO good and the staff SO friendly and understanding! They even had special tables that fit a highchair out of the way next to it. I would have never expected to find such a hidden treasure so off the beaten path! We will definitely be back - for a planned stop on the way to our destinations next time!
