As a family business, we take pride in the food and experience we offer. We've been running The Seafood Restaurant for over 38 years. During that time we've learnt what our customers like and work hard to deliver just that. All the fish served at the Seafood Restaurant is fresh. Where possible, we will always use local fish - and we've used the same local fishmonger for over 30 years, so we know what we're getting! As a result our menu is always changing and the fish dishes move with the seasons. Steaks are available for non fish eaters, plus vegetarians. We understand and cater for people with dietary requirements.
Amazingly good place full of charm and also excellent food. Very welcoming and superb service and the seafood is frankly fantastic (as is the steak etc as well). Strongly recommended.

My Wife and I and all of our Children (since berth) have been eating in this fabulous Restuarant since it first opened, we have eaten in some of the finest eating houses in Londons West End and theirs not one that comes close too Moments of Scratby, Dawn and Cain are two of the nicest people you could wish too meet and very hard working, as are all of the staff Dan & Ellie especially, nothing is ever too much trouble . The class, the way you are greeted and treated is second to none, which is why so many people return time after time. The steaks are succulent as are the Fish dishes, in all the years we have been eating in this fabulous restaurant we have never had a meal that has been any different from the previous visit, always the same year in year out. The Surf & Turf is a must for all who love your steak & prawns, it is a dish I have many times through the course of the year and Cain the chef is a past master of this dish. If you are ever in Scratby or Hemsby or Caister or anywhere near too this wonderful part of Norfolk, I want recommend you try this bootiful place you will not come away dissapointed. This wonderful Restuarant and its owners and all of its staff are second too none. Keep up the good work, you are all a treat to the county of NORFOLK!

First time we’ve been the meal was really tasty and plenty of it great starters and lovely Deserts sticky toffee pudding fab , the main course you can have as much as you like and you cook it to your own liking . Service was fantastic and very friendly thanks to our hard working Dan . Would defiantly recommend and will go back . The only down side is that the smell stays on your clothes and hair but worth it .

Love the olives and rustic bread!!! The theme nights are great value and the entertainment is top class. Situated beside the river it’s in a lovely location and great for coffee and a catch up with friends or an full on evening meal. The food is authentic Mediterranean and we’ll continue to go back. Can get busy so if you’re planning a visit be prepared to wait for a table.

This restaurant was formerly called Lazzarellas for which there are several Reviews existing - see the list as I informed you at the end of last year it would be closing. The new owners have improved everything. New decorations, new menu and crockery etc.
The December menu is fabulous, the Courtyard prove you can be festive with a refreshing twist . Makes for a lovely change from most boring festive menus elsewhere. I can certainly vouch for the food, wine and impeccable service as always . merry Christmas indeed !

Very good waiters, polite and although a bit nervous confidence will keep coming. Food portions were very large, perhaps a bit less would be better to prevent food waste? Or automatically people should take it home? Food was great, service quick. Only two learning points-...MoreThank you for your kind feedback. We welcome all feedback and students get to discuss guests comments that come our way. We look forward to hopefully welcoming you back at some point
