This restaurant is part of a hotel complex built on a dike next to the Maas. We started a cycle ride from there and had dinner on our return 7 hours later. The cycle ride was great. The dinner was OK. Plenty of choice and good visual presentation of the dishes but disappointing to the taste buds.

We komen zeker terug.

Not at all an expert on great food and/or wine, I just enjoy a friendly surrounding and good food and that is why this is a very good place to feed!

This is a very large "pan-Asian" restaurant with what seems like hundreds of dishes on the menu including descriptive items such as "spicy chicken" and "indonesian vegetarian". The English menu they have came with a Dutch menu so we could try to find the prices.
Service was extremely slow, servers seemed to ignore us for long periods of time, most importantly, the food had some reasonable dishes but some truly awful.
It is unclear why they have so many good TripAdvisor reviews. The service can be forgiven as an "off" night that could happen anywhere. The quality of the food can not be explained so easily.
I highly suggest avoiding "Asia". There are much better options within a block.

Restaurant 't Veerhuis is for more than 200 years a meeting place for young and old guests. With its location on next to the river in the beautiful fortified town of Ravenstein visitors come from far away to enjoy. In 't Veerhuis guest can enjoy lunch, dinner, coffee and drinks. Large parties and business meetings are often held up in the top of the building. The power of 't Veerhuis lies in the hospitality and high quality food of the chef.
Having had dinner here twice, the quality of the food here is much better than you would expect for a restaurant located on the dyke near the river Maas. You would expect this place to cater for passers-by, people touring by bicycle or motor bikes. It does, but you can also have a nice dinner here of good quality and with good service. There is a Terrace outside near the river, a "serre" (conservatory part next to the road) and a dining room with bar inside. They have a wine list with reasonably priced wines, including some special ones. In short, it is a nice place to have dinner, if you happen to visit Ravenstein, the surrounding area, or passing by on the motorway A50.

When you think that pancakes should be on the breakfast menu, alongside your french toast and scrambled eggs, you will be in for a surprise. The Dutch have a whole nother pancake culture, bordering on brasserie-style dinners. Have a choice of sweet, nutty, hearty, ploughman or healthy. Everything is possible. And "Den Tol" has perfected this cuisine.
Don't expect rustic Dutch interior. You will have your pancake in style and the kids have their own play area, after they have finished their kiddie version of the pancake.
In summer time they have a fabulous Terrace outdoors at the back.
Enjoy!

After stroling around in the region of Grave for the sunday afternoon we decided to find a place for Dinner in the nice old town of Grave. As the weather was nice we looked for a place to sit outside. Colori did have a free table on their Terrace near the Riverside. The menu offered some very nices dishes and we decided to take a starter and a main. Both where very good. I had a Gazpacho which reminded me very much of the ones I had in Andalucia, my partner had lobstersoup which was also very nice. As a main we had seafood, fresh prepared and very tastefull. The decoration of the plates was very appealing as well. With some drinks and bread we paid about €70,- which is not cheap but it did match with the quality supplied. If you want to have a nice dinner in Grave do stop by Colori.

Leave it all to us menu will give you surprise! And they can help you to select wine! As a foreigner, I'm very satisfied with what they served. And they offer English menu, which is really nice!

ABC has come a long way. In the past it was an American Diner, but they have expanded over the years. Now they serve: Italian, Chinese, Fish, Steak. Everybody should be ale to find something. It can be quite busy so make sure you make Reservations if you plan anything during the weekend at the main hours. You never have to wait long to get some food. There is a large selection of drinks and dessert. And of course there is a playground for the kids.

Sophisticated food in an informal environment which far exceeded our expectations. The reasonably priced 3-course fixed price menu was outstanding, and I enjoyed a generous plateful of tender beef carpaccio followed by a parchment parcel of wild mushrooms accompanying my fish. My companions dined on herb-crusted baked lamb, also declared delicious. Leave room for the Deserts, which are stylishly presented. Service was efficient and friendly. We will return!
