DUE TO A FIRE WE ARE TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Patti's 1880's Settlement is that special place where friends bring friends. Patti's and Mr. Bill's are upscale family dining - famous for a 2" pork chop, mile high meringue pies, flower pot bread, and strawberry butter. Patti's 1880's Settlement is located in the small town of Grand Rivers, KY located at the northern entrance of Land Between the Lakes between Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake.
Totally destroyed by fire as of February 08, 2018. No new opening date, but they are saying they will rebuild at some time in the future.

This is your basic vintage hamburger and shake joint in town. Seems like its been there for a very long time. I had a very good plain hamburger and a vanilla shake at a very affordable price. Seemed like a lot of locals passing through while I was there waiting for my order. Very happy with my choice to eat here.

Fresh Foods; Breakfast & Lunch. Open from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Wednesday thru Sunday. They have THE BEST home made LOW FAT muffins I've ever tasted. You can order their muffins to be shipped anywhere as well. Delightful and moist...you cannot tell they are low fat at all. I've also had their Chicken Quesadila's; Wick (Roast Beef & Cheese on a home made roll); Foccacia; and everything they serve is very good. Fresh baked each day. I highly recommend this little bakery. Outside dining with a few tables indoors as well. They take all major credit cards. Located 3 miles from the north entrance to Land Between the Lakes National Recreation area. You can also buy a picnic basket lunch! I love it!
Everything that you'd expect from a little bakery and cafe...delicious breads, muffins, breakfast casseroles, eggs, etc. The quirky twist is Bison, Elk and Blue Crab Eggs Benedict (special). Fun decor inside and outside. Worth the stop for tasty food and a bit of casual relaxation.

Garlic knots are great. Service was excellent. We were seated quickly and the waitress was very attentive. We will definitely be back!

This 90 seat restaurant was owned by an older gentleman that appreciated each customer. This great little place has changed. New management embraces poor service and taking for granted their customers. Turns a deaf ear to the same local customer base that the previous owner took decades to build. Long waits for cramped conditions and lesser quality catfish is what you can expect.
Better choices for fish in the lake area are Willow Pond in Aurora and The Keg in Murray.

We stopped in at Moor's Marina during an extended trip up KY Lake on our boat, to refuel and grab lunch.
We had not been here in several years prior to the revamping and complete make-over and where not prepared for the surprises which started as soon as we walked up on the outdoor dining area deck.
This is no longer a lazy morning coffee club hangout or a simple greasy spoon hamburger lunch joint.
The interior is bright and inviting, although we haven't figured out the heavy Beatle's décor which has nothing to do with the waterside or campground ambiance.
However, it's welcoming and fresh and the service is excellent with an unbelievable menu with much more to offer than the traditional lake area fried fish sandwiches and hamburgers.
We enjoyed a delicious and perfectly prepared shrimp wrap, fries and a frosty mug of beer. Although tempting, there was no room for any dessert.
Certainly won't wait several years now before returning!

Our family has been eating at Knoth's for several years. The menu is simple but is a diner' s delight. The bar-b-que is delicious. It is moist and well done. Fries are special with no greasy mess. Slaw is special. If you are hungry for a special Bar-B-Que meal, you must go to Knoth's.

This is a great restaurant and the food is wonderful. Only problem is their tendency to run out of food. Good problem to have - but not when you have customers still coming through the door. They have been open a year and still have this problem. Love the brisket and BBQ nachos on their homemade seasoned chips. Get there early - hope they will add a cooker to keep up with local demand.

Bill's is part of the well known Patti's Restaurant family. People drive for miles to enjoy the down home top quality menu. The premier plate is the 2 inch pork chop dinner. Amazing, awesome, and tasty as is the rest of their menu. Pies and desserts are stellar too. The decor is cozy and staff wear 1880s outfits. Fun place for two or a large group, but call ahead so you aren't disappointed. Be sure to ask to see Injun Joe in the bathtub. Children and adults love him.
