Serving the Beat Beef on Weck since 1989! Our menu offers many speciality sandwiches, burgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, intalian or polish sausage. Plus many flavor or Perry Ice Cream and Cremy Frozen Custard.
If you're ever on Grand Island, this is a must stop for a quick and delicious meal. Their signature items are Beef on Weck and Frozen Custard. I had both. The sandwich was the most delicious rare roast beef ever, piled high on a kümmelweck bun (lightly salted with caraway seeds) that stands up to all the juice and horseradish. They also have a number of other offerings, but I kept to their specialties. For dessert, I had a SMALL vanilla custard cone with at least 7" of custard above the top of the cone. So creamy and tasty! It's also right across from Fantasy Island, and makes for a great after-ride nosh.

After having a delicious Greek wrap at a Tim Horton's in Canada, we asked if they were available at the Grand Island location. The server made a face, laughed and said we don't have those here (in a voice that suggested "Wow how dumb can one be"). The a a availability of product should be across the board, especially with such an excellent product. Also, no pumpkin spice coffee in the Fall? I'm going back to Dunkin Donuts, where coffee & products are always good and staff is friendly

De Dee's Dairy and the friendly staff offer the best ice cream I've ever eaten. A single scoop is softball size. The number of flavors must bes 50 (I didn't count.). A mini banana split is huge. This is a "fun" place to visit.

Hand crafted food with Louisiana flair.
On a recent frigid night in Buffalo a group of us chose Dick & Jenny's for several reasons, including personal recommendations, diner reviews and restaurant critic reviews. Service was friendly and consistent, juggling different arrival times, and paying attention to course arrivals, as not everyone chose the 3 course tasting menu. Speaking of which, is hard to beat. for 28.50 you get to choose from three satisfying groups of offerings. I myselft went for two appetizers and a cup of gumbo. I had the crab cakes and the andouille "cheesecake". I observed the jambala disappear with no offers of tastes to anyone else. The duck was reported as good but not remarkable. The rebel chicken and ribs looked inviting, no offers to share there either!
this is good, honest New Orleans cooking. I would return in a heartbeat for breakfast, lunch or another dinner. Also the drinks are potent and tasty. Alas, had no room for dessert. Hopefully next visit!

The food was delicious, the atmosphere quaint, the staff friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our drinks from the bar as well. This cute little restaurant has a nice menu with a selection of French favorites as well as other items. My husband thought the steak dinner was fantastic. This is a nice place to go for dinner with your significant other, your BFF or with another couple. (I think no more than 4 people at a time would work best.) We will certainly go again.

We serve ALL day Breakfast! For Lunch come and enjoy our Village Greek Salad (yum). In the mood for something different? Try our unique sandwich options such as the Cran Club, Ghost Roast, and many other local favorites. So MANY options. Dinners served on Friday and Saturday, everything is fresh and made to order so you may change it to your likings!
We found this place through Tripadvisor in our search for a brunch type of menu and it didn’t disappoint. Good selection of breakfast and lunch dishes. We’ve ordered pancakes, an omlete, burgers, and sandwiches – all were very good and the portions were very satisfying. The place itself is very small and seems to be popular with both the locals and Niagara visitors. It’s décor is pretty neat with old records plastered on the walls and funny saying hanging around. They have a pool table that you can use if you have some spare change on the second floor.

The Village Inn is located in the historic Ferry Village in Grand Island, New York. Its quaint, homelike atmosphere and close proximity to the Niagara River make this restaurant a popular meeting place for locals, as well as for those visiting off island. In 1988, owner Michael Carr took over The Village Inn that was previously named Lippens Grill. He changed the name to The Village Inn, which was inspired by his father. With the help of his friends and family, he renovated this 1890's building to make it the cozy eatery that it is today. At The Village Inn, we pride ourselves on creating all of our food from scratch. We are best known for our unique, culinarily adventurous soups as well as baking all of our desserts in house from homemade recipes. From our moist and sweet bread puddings to our spicy lemon tabasco clam chowder, we strive to please all taste buds. The Village Inn has customers from all over the area that come in to experience this one of a kind restaurant. You are sure to enjoy your meal served by our light-hearted, welcoming wait staff while engaging in our distinctive dining atmosphere. All of us at The Village Inn are looking forward to your dining with us while experiencing our historic niche in Ferry Village.
Stopped here for dinner after a visit to the Falls. Absolutely loved it. The host made me a fruity martini that was delicious! Started off with some fried pickles that were excellent. Then I had the seafood croissant with a sweet potato. So, so good!!! Highly recommend! Cozy little place, super nice staff!!

My husband and I have dined at Remington on several occasions. It has never let us down. Always fresh seafood, love the mussels and they have an extensive oyster bar. They always have delicious specials, including a freshly fish option and beef option. We enjoy their filets very much as they rate in our opinion with the top steak

A cozy family-friendly restaurant on the north end of Grand Island,NY. Though we are best known for our Fish Fry(served Wednesday through Friday) There is something on our menu for just about everyone. Open Seven days a week from 11am-10pm on Monday through Friday, and from 3pm-10pm on Saturday and Sunday.
This restaurant offers great American cuisine, along with very good Buffalo Chicken Wings!!! It's right across from a small boat marina on the islands North East side. The ride here will take you along East River Road, and some very beautiful homes off the water. It's a very quiet area and his is really the only restaurant in this general area. They have great hours, so bone appetite!!! Get the wings!!!
