Justifiably busy this is a good restaurant by any standard. Steaks worth crossing a continent for- just brilliant beef cooked on open griddle.
Good wine list for Nicaragua and mainly good value too.
Best to book here for dinner around 7.00pm when at its highest demand. Thins out around 9.00pm.
Homemade chorizo on the appetisers menu is enough meat for a starving bear. Brilliant.

Hidden behind decorative metal screens, el Garaje is a clean, organized cafe with 6 tables and an open kitchen. Specials are written on chalkboards on the wall. Pork seasoned quesadilla with tomatillo and jalapeño salsa (180 Córdobas). Vegetarian options available. Wait staff speaks English. Pricing is affordable. Definitely worth it.

Freshly made pasta, mouthwatering sauces, a large selection of excellent Italian wines, divine desserts, and excellent service. What's not to like? The inner courtyard Fountain is worth an photo for your Instagram or Facebook page! You'll know what I mean when you see it. ;-)
The only downside was they need to fix the bathroom sink and keep the bathroom cleaner.

We visited this awesome cafe today and exactly two years ago. Well, I’m pleased to report that the Garden Cafe continues to be amazing. The service was great, the food outstanding, and the cafe lattes the best in Granada. Consistently, Garden Cafe just gets it right. Our favourite cafe on the planet.

Fusion Cuisine Restaurant. We offer a variety of dishes. Meats, fish, shrimps, pasta, pork and chicken. We have an excellent offer of wines. Try the best food experience in Granada with the best customer service. If you love meat La Claraboya is the best place to enjoy our signature dish "Filete Patrón". We are close to the Cathedral, just one block away.
I decided to try this restaurant because of the reviews, it was supposed to be the best meat restaurant in town. It was a nice place, decent service and beautiful decoration.
I’ve got a bittersweet opinion about it because the meat was really high quality and well done, nevertheless the rest of it was just mediocre. The sauces and the bread weren’t good at all… low quality ingredients and poor preparation, also the vegetables were just not amazing. Thing is, I came for the meat and the meat was great, I was just expecting to have better sides with it. I tried the Solomillo a la Cavernet and traditional Churrasco. Even Though I didn't love it, I’d recommend it because of those meat cuts and its not expensive at all. Try it :)

The pictures on this page don't do justice to this restaurant which has an attractive garden courtyard. Our food was good and fresh cooked. They also do a daily table d'dote which is very good value even for Nicaragua. Surprisingly quiet when we visited- deserves...MoreDear indefatigable, Thank you for your comments. You’re right pictures never do justice! So glad you came to see for yourself! Happy to hear you enjoyed your experience with us. Hope to see you again soon! Best regards, The Bistro Estrada team

Cafe of Smiles is staffed by deaf staff
In the heat and bustle of Granada is a peaceful courtyard, where quiet reigns.
There is a reason for this - this social Enterprise is staffed by Nicaraguans who are deaf mute.
You go in, point to what you want on the menu, customise your order by pointing to signs (coffee con leche?) and then sit back and relax.
The menu is basic but that’s not really the reason to go. There is a sign language guide for the brave and when I was there, a very proficient signer came in and a conversation started which was amazing to see.
Go, take five minutes to find some calm and do some good at the same time.

Seafood . fusion cousine .
A knowledgeable Nicaraguan friend recommended El Marlin among the many choices we had, and he sure was right! The seafood was all fresh, and Reniel helpfully recommended the choices on the menu which were best. Prices were reasonable, service was excellent, drinks--mojitos and smoothies-were high quality. It's unpretentious--no hawkers, a little down toward the lake from the tourist center. All delicious and perfectly cooked, and our only regret was that we missed the ceviche. We'll go back for sure.

Beautiful place, with a Terrace in front of the restaurant.
I had the Gorgonzola salad which I would really recommend, it was a delicious plate full of fresh vegetables, a nice change from burritos and nachos.
The service is rather slow, so when you go there make sur you have some time and patience!
The salad comes with bread but it were just 2 tiny pieces, they could have been a bit more generous with the bread.
