In town on business, colleagues stopped to eat supper. Wonderful bacon wrapped shrimp with just the right amount of jalapeno kick. One of my co-workers had the broiled seafood platter which was very good but a little "disconnected" according to him. My other colleague and I both had the Guitreau which was fabulous. No dessert. Too full! Very good!

Intimate setting serving full breakfast, gourmet salads, sandwiches, homemade soups, weekly specials, espresso, coffees, pastries, cakes and muffins.
Our latte and cappuccino were very good. We had a cheese omelet and a standard breakfast plate that were good. This cafe is nicely decorated and has a sitting area with a couch and art. Nothing organic that we could tell.

Of all the donut places I prefer Mary Lee Donuts. Piping hot and does not get much better. Good variety but somehow I never get past the hot glazed!

DON'S SEAFOOD More Than Eighty Years of Exceptional Seafood South Louisiana locals and visitors have been drawn to DON'S authentic Cajun cuisine for more than 80 years. Menu selections including traditional Landry family recipes, and more recent original creations like Zydeco Shrimp, are well worth repeat visits. Many stop in daily for oysters on the half shell or boiled crawfish in season. DON'S bartenders serve Signature Old Fashioned cocktails alongside the newest specialty drinks, many made with Louisiana products. DON'S SEAFOOD began in 1934, when Don Landry opened his first restaurant and bar in downtown Lafayette with $400 borrowed from his uncle. Prohibition had just been lifted and at only 24 years old, he envisioned serving drinks and offering a simple menu featuring fresh local seafood. Four generations later, the Landry family has expanded that humble beginning into what would eventually become the DON'S SEAFOOD of today. Continuing the tradition, the Landry family still owns and operates each location. An extensive menu of original South Louisiana Cajun family recipes, the freshest Gulf seafood and sizzling steaks is offered. Each location boasts a unique Acadiana-inspired décor, all have a full-service bar and grill, perfect for casual diners or sports enthusiasts. Every DON'S SEAFOOD grill features an open charbroiler where diners can watch exclusive dishes being prepared like DON'S Original Jacked Up Oysters loaded with bacon, jalapenos and pepper jack cheese. Whether you're just passing through South Louisiana or live right around the corner, you'll find a DON'S SEAFOOD location near you in Lafayette, Denham Springs, Gonzales, Hammond, Covington and Metairie.
Don's was a nice place to eat. Lucky for us, we arrived about 5pm for dinner and was seated immediately. When we left, the place was packed and people waiting outside. We were seated in one of the few booths near the bar. Very comfortable and our waiter was attentive, but not a nuisance. The food was good, but typical of modern day eateries trying to capitalize on the Cajun flavor. I had the fried Shrimp and Catfish. The shrimp were small and the catfish was cut into strips instead of a filet to make the amount appear larger. The shrimp and fish stacked on a bed of french fries of the frozen variety also add to the illusion of portions larger than actual. The small cup of slaw was very good and two hush puppies were average. The beer was cold.

I love love love the donuts. They are always fresh and delicious. The workers are extremely friendly. On one visit I called right at closing time and she asked what I wanted to order and stayed open until I picked up my order. I also love the fact they have a drive thru window.

Through the efforts, ideas, faults, love, sweat & patience of friends, family, & agitators, you are able to enjoy some Southern history. Our goal is to preserve some of the local farming history, serve meals typical of the River Road tradition, & make your visit a relaxed & memorable one.
We ate here for Sunday brunch yesterday while touring nearby Houmas House. I got the red beans & rice with hot sausage and my husband got a fried chicken sandwich. We both really enjoyed our food! The corn muffins were delicious, as was the homemade remoulade salad dressing. Yum! Sometimes you get very bland red beans & rice in restaurants but the Cabin's was full of flavor. Very nice portions too. Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive even though she had several tables which included big parties. Definitely want to come back and try some more dishes here! Very interesting place to eat.

Although we've eaten here many times we picked up a family meal and took home to enjoy. Fried shrimp is great abs the family meal is plenty for a family of 4!

When in southern Louisiana I am accustomed to eating wonderful Cajun and seafood. I never dreamed that I would have such wonderful Greek and Lebanese food. The Albasha’s Platter ($17.95) was full of many familiar, new, exotic and, most of all, tasty flavors. Unfortunately, none of Albasha’s six restaurants are in Tulsa. I would eat there regularly if there was. This was a memorable dinner. I really enjoyed it.

We had a big group for dinner. The staff was great. The seafood was fabulous as usual. Don't forget the dessert. Many delicious choices. Bread pudding was my favorite.

This has to be the largest Cabelas I've visited. Stopped by today to have a rifle sighted in and enjoyed an elk burger while waiting.
