Salads, wraps, BBQ, and of course, CARROT CAKE!
Cozy little sandwich shop with a nice selection of quiche, sandwiches, soup and salad. Tried the biscuit with Turkey and it was delicious. The ham and cheese was also delicious. Highly recommend those biscuits! The coffee was weak but I must admit to being a coffee snob. All in all, this is a delightful place to stop for a quick bite.

Great location, great ice cream but 6$ for the smallest size? Crazy there are indoor and outdoor tables to enjoy. This location is right near the water so it has great views.

Tony and Milena's is probably the best Italian restaurant I've eaten in since returning from Europe. It's original well prepared and served Italian food. My go to is the Veal Scallopini. It's a family owned and run business with personal and friendly service. This has become our favorite restaurant in Gloucester.

I recently moved to the area, and one of the first things I learned about from locals was Sunrise Donuts. I tried it, and I have to say it was really good. I even got cupcakes for my sons birthday from them. I am very happy with my service and will definitely be back!

Not a fancy place, but the BBQ is out of this world. I had the pulled pork, fried okra, and fried pickles sides. The baked beans were the only thing that was so so. Everything else was amazing. I will definitely go back again.

At 7-Eleven, our doors are always open, and our friendly store teams are ready to serve you. Our fresh, fast and convenient hot foods appeal to any craving, so your on-the-go meal can still be delicious!
We were staying at the MARL Inn in historic Yorktown and needed milk and orange juice for breakfast. The young ladt at Ben & Jerry's told us the the 7-Eleven was the closest convenience store. It was a typical 7-Eleven, very clean and had everything we would need. The person at the register was very friendly.

I have eaten here at least 3 or 4 times during my previous visits to Yorktown VA. It's a very unassuming restaurant with great service and solid food. We were able to get a seat here for lunch on New Year's eve without any difficulty. On our last visit my husband had a burger and I had the lobster roll. Both were great choices. The french fries were perfect. We had a high top table for two with a nice view of Yorktown Beach. I highly recommend stopping here when in the area.

We were using the marina and decided to have dinner. Glad we did. Two things stuck out: (1) She Crab Soup -- not the standard Virginia fare. More hearty and very, very tasty. Just a different approach but remarkable. (2) Tune Tower. Have heard this called a Napoleon but appears to be a series of goodness into a soup can size, open at both end container and then placed on the plate. Fresh was the name of the game. The tuna in substantial portion and fresh, crab perfect, some tomato for a little tart, avacado... the hits just keep coming. Served as an appetizer but could be a delicious meal. Only downer was the service (Sunday night may not have been the A-Team but clearly new to the game) and the wine menu -- very limited.

Open in May of 2005, Riverwalk Restaurant is located in Riverwalk Landing, a shopping and dining destination just a short walk from Yorktown's historic Main Street, the battlefields, and the Yorktown Victory Center. We offer free parking in the covered parking deck, or come by boat and stay for the day or days at the fully-equipped marina. The riverfront Restaurant at lunch and dinner serves fresh seafood, beef and poultry. Voted #1 in the Daily Press Reader's Choice poll for BEST PLACE TO HAVE SUNDAY BRUNCH!
Our server Lauren took excellent care of us throughout our lunch today and she was the highlight of our visit. The restaurant boasts a beautiful view of the York River. The quality of the lobster ravioli was very good and the fish and chips were ok, but the fish tacos were poor. The tacos contained minimal fish, slaw that was not tasty, and used stale tortillas. There is no lunch menu so be prepared to pay high-end dinner prices at lunchtime.

I stopped into Eggheads Diner while visiting VA. The prices were affordable. The wait staff was friendly. The bathroom was very old, but clean. The food was good, but not spectacular to me. They had several breakfast options. They do serve more than just things with eggs. My group of 3 adults and 1 child were all able to find something we wanted. The service was pretty quick at 9am on a Friday morning. I was told later, by a family member, that I should have tried the pancakes. Maybe I will do that at some point if it is on my way somewhere.
