Stopped in here for a late night dinner while on business in Globe. Nothing fancy but worth stopping for. Had the the chicken taco salad which was tasty and not too large either. The green salsa is the better salsa if you try it.

While spending the night in Globe on our way to Tempe, we searched for a dinner spot different than the pubs and Mexican restaurants we saw along the Main Street. We were delighted to find The Copper Hen. Though perhaps more a breakfast and lunch cafe and bakery, the dinner menu had a good selection. This trip we tended toward the Italian choices, ravioli and pasta with sausage, both very good. I will rave about the bread served with the entrees.....crisp outside and tender inside...great flavor! Do save room for dessert....we had cannoli and took a brownie to go. The staff is friendly, the portions generous, the atmosphere charming. A musician provide just the right background ambiance for our delicious meal. Be sure to look for this place if you are in Globe!

Busy restaurant upon our arrival. We were seated within 10 minutes. Our order was taken and all went well. We overheard the person, who had seated us, telling other customers with whom she was acquainted that she was leaving.
It seemed that was when things fell apart. The mango shrimp was cold. Our bread and milk arrived when we were nearly finished eating. It took some time to receive the bill.

Really friendly service, good food. Definitely worth a stop if you are in town. Unfortunately not a whole lot of options for the non-meat eaters but the grilled cheese was outstanding, french fries really good too. Definitely will be back next time I'm in town for work.

Globe has always been a stop over for years headed to the White Mountains. We had never stopped at Dairy Queen . Our first visit there we were impressed with the food. My hamburger basket was great and the wife had chicken strips which she really liked.
Our next trip to Globe this will be our stop for food
Keep up the good work

Based on reviews, we stopped on our way to Pinetop-Lakeside for a quick bite. We weren’t disappointed. Had the mushroom Swiss burger with crinkle fries. Didn’t have to wait too long even though the place was full. Tasty burger. Only disappointment is they were out of both their shake and funnel cake fries. Would recommend and return.

But the waitress kept coming back every couple min wanting to know if we were ready to order so we just ordered so we could relax and visit!! My meal came wrong was to be beef and it was chicken but I ate it anyway!! My wife said hers was delicious!!

We have dropped in at Guayo's with 12 or more riders as a destination for great Mexican food and never been disappointed in either the food or service. Always impressed.

We had a nice lunch here. Though the menu suggested routine American-style Mexican food, there is a world of difference between standard commercial and home-cooked food. We ordered two chimichangas - a green chili and a machaca. When they arrived we were a little surprised - they were good-sized, but not the gigantic productions one often sees. Actually, that proved to be a very good thing. These were hand-made home-cooked chimis. The green chili was good... and the machaca was great!
We ordered the sugar-cinnamon sopapillas for dessert, and were again a bit surprised. Typically we look for airy puffs. These are much more substantial and appear to be made with whole wheat flour. Much "breadier". Not bad - just different. Typically left over sopapillas are not much, but these held up to refrigeration and reheating in the microwave a day and a half later! Speaking of which - the leftover chimis didn't get re-heated... they were great cold. That says a lot about how NOT greasy they were and how excellently the machaca was spiced.

We managed to get a table for lunch at this very busy restaurant. Food was good, kitchen was quick and the staff was an efficient, speedy group. We want to come back and try the food again when they aren't quite so busy.
