The Service: 2 cashiers. Service is slow, always a long line waiting.
The Donut: Tried the famous strawberry donut and apple filing donut. Hmmm... overrated. The donuts are overly sweet. Strawberries have so much sugar coated on it and the dount becomes soggy of the syrup. The apple filing is so sweet, couldn't even have more than a few bites.
The fruit fillings are great idea but just not too much sugar please.....
The Parking: Private parking lot and street parking (free)

It's been a while since I last ate at Flappy's. I had not stopped because every time that I wanted to visit, the place was packed with people out the door (and I am serious, not joking). Since it changed ownership several years ago, the number of patrons have just grown like crazy. I started coming to Flappy's when it first opened and it was more of a locals place. We ate there at least once a week but then the crowds just started to grow and grow and GROW! I've never had a bad experience with the food or the service at Flappy's. In fact, Flappy's was one of the first places to really expand on their pancake menu. I would try one of their specialty pancakes and then a few months later, I would see a commercial for that pancake house with a very similar offering. Hmm...I asked the old owner (Perry was his name) and he said he had a few visitors from IHOP stop by so it didn't surprise him that he was getting copied.
Anyhow, this review is about my most recent visit in October. Since it had been at least two or three years since I last ate there, I was curious to see if service or food quality had changed. Well, everything is still the same and the quality is just as good. I ordered the lunch version of the Asian Chicken Salad and it was supposed to be the half portion. For a lunch portion, the salad was huge and I was full after I barely finished it. The chicken is grilled and it was so flavorful. There are also slivered almonds, mandarin oranges, wonton strips and pieces of celery. The dressing is just divine and I highly recommend this salad to anyone who likes Asian Chicken salad. You will not be disappointed with the quality and portion.
Let me address the crowd issue, we came at noon on a Friday. The place was still full and we had to wait about 10 minutes to get seated. By the time we left at 1pm, the place had thinned out a lot. Flappy's closes at 3pm so the crowds deminish after lunch. The great thing about coming a bit later is that you can still have breakfast and try one of their delicious omelettes, pancakes, waffles, crepes or skillets. I hope to come back soon but I need to time it well since I avoid the place on the weekends and my best bet would be to stop by during the week. Oh and if you come on a holiday weekend (Mother's Day, Easter, Christmas break, etc) forget about getting seated quickly because you are going to wait, wait, WAIT!

This is a local, independent place on the Avenue in Glendora. The service is friendly, helpful, and patient. Plenty of options for coffee/tea/chai/smoothies, and there is no hassle to "customize" an order. Inside and outside seating is available, or get your order to go and stroll through Glendora's charming shops along the Avenue.

It’s been years since I’ve been to the Hat so decided to stop in with my father. We split a Pastrami and a small fry. To my surprise, the sandwich had little flavor. I remember previously thinking they had one of the best pastrami’s around but I was disappointed. It was just an ok sandwich. The fries seem endless as we could not even finish a small.

At In-N-Out Burger, quality is everything. Stop by to enjoy our menu of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, french fries and shakes. In-N-Out makes fast food the old fashioned way.
I stopped by for a Double, Double and a chocolate milkshake. The place was very busy, drive thru lane included but also clean. The server was very friendly and my order arrived on the counter soon after just as I requested with lots of extra onions. You can never go wrong eating at In-N-Out. Clean restrooms, outside tables and a good sized parking area.

The wait was a little long to be seated, to order our drinks, get our drinks but the taste of everything made all that disappointment disappear!

I have eaten here regularly for several years. The food is excellent, with large portions, friendly wait staff, and a nice outdoor patio when the weather is nice. They have recently installed a new bar. My husband and I were concerned that it would change the atmosphere, but so far, it seems like the addition has not had a negative effect. The prices for lunch and dinner nudge at being expensive, but the portions and quality make the prices very reasonable.

This is a nice diner/café place, eventhough it looks like it has noy been renovated for a while. It is old school. The place is quiet despite how busy it can get. Nice place for a hamburger or a breakfast at any time of day. Their portions are large and not expensive at all--my kinda place! Plus you can get a bottomless cup of java at any time!

Clubhouse 66 is an upscale restaurant and sports bar offering exceptional food in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. We serve delicious American comfort food including steaks, pasta, pizza, and burgers
We came here for a graduation, birthday, and Father's Day gathering which was out in their spacey outdoor patio. The food was very good and we enjoyed it so much that everyone ate it all. The waitresses did a very good job running back in forth to make sure everyone had what they needed. The only thing the indoor restaurant lacks is character, it's just so blah inside.
