Myself and three friends were all in agreement that this place was the best place to eat in Girdwood,on walking in the place looks more like a nice cafe than a restaurant but don't let that fool you the food was amazing as was the beers, great service and a free shuttle bus to take you home right outside.

We randomly stopped here for coffee (after going to The Bake Shop Restaurant) and was pleased to find good service and great snacks. Loved the cheese danish and baklava! Great sized brownies and donuts! Will stop again while in the area!

A very unique and enjoyable experience. The coffee was good and the service was friendly and quick. There are a number of printed cartoons and quotes under glass on the counter that are well worth reading and would, alone, make entering this place worth the effort.

Double Musky is a great experience as well as wonderful food. The decor is a little bazaar but totally interesting with memorabilia from Louisiana. And Margi Gras filling every possible space. The people are extremely warm and friendly . The pepper rib eye is crispy fried a little on the outside but thick juicy and delicious throughout. The Cornish Hen is also deep fried but juicy and succulent on the inside. The musky pie is to die for. It’s an hour ride from Anchorage but we’ll wirth the trip as the sights are beautiful and the dinner fantastic!

Located at the resort, this is the perfect spot to grab breakfast and coffee. Everything is fresh and the service is good. You can get your food and go grab a table in the atrium area. It is a little pricey, but worth it.

We were disappointed to find no seating in the restaurant but managed to find a seat at the bar which allowed us the full menu AND an excellent view of the thunderstorm going on just on the other side of the window! What a view. Service was excellent. The salmon I had was from that mornings catch. This was a high point of our tour.

A touch of gourmet in the homemade. Serving Alaska's best breakfast for every visitor in Girdwood, Alaska, we offer delicious, cozy homemade breakfasts. Sit down and let the smell of fresh baked bread, bacon and steaming coffee fill your nose as you pour golden maple syrup over a stack of hot sourdough pancakes. Try one of our famous sweet rolls or take home a loaf of our homemade Alyeska Sourdough Bread. Perhaps you visit for lunch to indulge in a bowl of our hearty bottomless soup and a sandwich, all made daily from the freshest ingredients. Welcome to The Bake Shop experience! Brian & Isha
This bakery is all the rave from the recommendation of a few locals, but we were unimpressed. Their cookies, cinnamon rolls, etc were BIG, indeed, but lacked any other saving grace. They were dry (returned our first purchases, and were no more pleased with their replacements.) They seemed to be made with cheap ingredients, equivalent to baked items displayed in a box on a convenient store counter. Will not go back.

We stopped in for lunch while passing through Girdwood. This is one of the reasonably priced restaurants in Girdwood and we eat here often. It offers a good blackened halibut and cheddar cheese burger even in the winter. It comes with French fries, but we substituted fries with a cup of chili for no additional charge. Unfortunately, they charge $3.75 for a glass of soda or iced tea. For $2 more, you can get a pint of craft beer. I guess that’s the catch. Otherwise, this is a decent local hang out for food and spirits with TV monitors for watching sports and a table for shooting pool . There is a small bar area and a quiet dining area on the other side for families. Lunch is generally slow and peak dinner times on the weekends can get busy.

Bright, spacious cafe serving breakfast, lunch, and Kaladi Brothers espresso. Now serving beer and wine with the best mimosas in town!
Great food, which is fresh and made right there. Friendly staff, inviting atmosphere. A great place to get breakfast, coffee of all sorts, lunch, or something to go. Conveniently located in the heart of Girdwood.
