The nice thing about this place was that you can order almost every pizza by the slice. We sat outside on a lovely day... during lunch time. It seemed that we waited forever for our pizzas, but maybe because we got the specialty pizzas by the slice. Or maybe because I was starving. The slices were huge and delicious!

Been there several times - usually I'm the only guy eating there as it caters to healthy eating (must not be a guy thing?). My wife get the Prism Rolls and loves them. I get the Trio Plate (usually the cranberry chicken, but sometimes mango or pineapple). The salad part is fresh and tasty. I don't care for the soups or special teas, but that's me. We often eat there and often get it to go and enjoy a special healthy meal at home.

The Veal and Chicken Rollatini are always excellent. I tried the grilled Salmon and it was good too. Gina was our waitress and she was very attentive. This is one of our favorites.

We love this place! The salsa and chips are served quickly. Always have fantastic service. Food is decent price. Never had a bad experience. Recommend the cheese enchiladas with queso and black beans. Super hot plates! The queso is bubbling when it’s served. Do yourself a favor and order a Mexican Martini. $10 but worth the price.
Get there before 5:30. The restaurant is busy!

This mom & pop restaurant is so authentic, I recently saw a Greek Orthodox priest here in full black robe. Get your food cafeteria-style. Lots of meat in your gyro, perfect lemon-chicken soup, and several choices for dessert. Good meatballs, dolmades, pasta, very fresh salad, and pita bread is very fresh. Restaurant is a clean, quaint conversion of a former Taco Bell or other fast food chain. They also have a drive through, but go inside for your first visit, so you can see and smell their wonderful array of choices. This place is comfortable, not fancy, with the best Greek food in Williamson County. Lunchtime is the best time. I recommended this restaurant to friends visiting from Austin, and they raved about it later.

We were very impressed with the food and the service - we will be back soon! Our waiter brought us soup samples since it was our first time. We got the oyster nachos (yes - that is on the menu and was fantastic) to start with. My shrimp po'boy was really good and my husband said the fish & chips were 2nd only to the fish & chips at EPCOT's England area. There was such a large choice on the menu and on the special boards that it was hard to decide. We will be back soon! It is in a corner of the Wolf Ranch shopping center and is worth the search to find it!

We did a daytrip from Austin to Georgetown, Texas and found this restaurant by chance. What an awesome find, incredible food and very attentive service.
We entered the restaurant and were greeted by the hostess of the very busy restaurant, she explained it would be 15 - 20 minute wait for a table when we noticed there were seats at the counter, we asked one patron if he could move over a one seat which he happily did. We took our seats at the counter, open to an exhibition kitchen in front of us. Anna our server immediately greeted us and brought us menus.
She took our beverage order as we perused the menu. Anna should be commended by management for her attentive and excellent service.
We both ordered and then watched the show at the kitchen window. The expeditor had good control of the kitchen organizing orders and insuring food was served quickly and correctly.
The dishroom is open to view, it was very clean and organized. It is true that the dishwasher is the most important person in a functional restaurant and it is obvious that ownership places a high importance on this station. I was impressed that it was so organized and clean as the restaurant on this day was packed with patrons.
The food was incredible. We both loved the homemade biscuits that are served immediatley after ordering. Soft, flakly, light and just like grandmother would make. I had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. It was delicious good, awesome good gravy and fresh lumpy mashed potatoes. My wife enjoyed her hour cheese grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup. We shared a piece of the chocolate pie with Texas pecan crust. The desserts are homemade and worth the calories.
This is an excellent restaurant. A true American classic serving excellent comfort food, a good ambiance and great service. They have found the formula for restaurant success. We highly recommend Monument Cafe.

Visited El Monumento on a recent Thursday evening. We had a large group, 24 people + 3 toddlers ... a wedding party. We had our own space which was nice. We had 2 dedicated servers, service was good, food was good, prices reasonable. We knew with the large group the gratuity would be added in ... but 30.5%? Thats a little excessive I think. I would have given a 5 start rating except for that.

A local shop keeper recommended this to us and so glad she did! I had the sampler salad and it was plenty big enough to fill me up - chicken salad (yum!), green salad, Jello salad, and a delicious broccoli salad. The staff were friendly and eager to make your stay an enjoyable one. Will go back for sure and this time will get one of the casseroles they sell for your freezer.
