Step into Hainan Express and reminisce the simplicity of the good old days. We bring back the basics such as all-time favourite toasted breads with kaya, aromatic coffee and authentic Nasi Lemak.
We went for the buffet dinner. What I love most is there is cupuccino, latte, the coffee machine. There's Japanese corner, Western Food Corner, ice cream, ice kachang, etc. Love the satay here. the buffet breakfast is 44.00, lunch 44.00 n dinner 88.00. If you have genting points , you can use to redeem, even if points not enough, you can pay the balance, is like a discount.

The Olive restaurant exudes a modern, arty design with a casual, welcoming feel in its 'olive' colours and warm lighting. Served in a trendy yet elegant ambience, the food features a myriad of textures, flavours and styles in a blend of classical recipes with contemporary ingredients and tastes. Among the choices on offer are prime cuts of meat, fresh seafood, crisp salads, delicious desserts, and fine wines. Juicy, succulent Wagyu Beef is the house specialty.
I've long wanted to write a review on The Olive. It was our second visit with the kids and it ended on the high note similarly to the first time we went there back in June 2016. Attended by the same waiter and I ordered the same main course, T-bone steak medium rare. My wife had the Chilean sea bass and she truly enjoyed it. This round she ordered the mushroom soup and the sable fish main dish and both were exceptionally good. Well it was her birthday and we were given a 1/2kg in-house chocolate cake on the house!! Wine list was extensive and we had the Malbec wine from Argentina recommended by the waiter. (Am truly embarrassed as I kept forgetting his name, I'll get it right on my next visit!). We have been to many restaurants and we think The Olive have truly leave a space within our heart and we are sure to visit them in a short period of time. Oh ya the breads were excellent too.

This restaurant is located within Gohtong area, nestled among many other eateries. My wife and I decided to give this place a try when we arrived Genting Highlands around lunch time. From the facade, it was nothing out of the ordinary or impressive.
The restaurant only had 1 table of patrons seated outside when we arrived which was quite worrying at first. We went ahead to order a deep fried Nam Yu style chicken wings, whole squid steamed with egg, venison slices fried with ginger and onions & toman fish slices fried with giner and onions.
The fish slices were fresh and had a nice cruchy texture, the venison was tender but the sauce was a tad too salty, the squid was succulent and had a nice bouncy texture to it while the chicken wings came out as the winner. It was crispy on the outside while juicy and succulent on the inside plus it had a flavourful Nam Yu taste to it.
Price was reasonable especially when considering everything in Genting Highlands is either 50% to 100% higher than in KL city centre. Will definitely return again to sample some of the other dishes that they offer.

Went to Genting on a fine weekend and decided to have lunch here. The menu was quite extensive, and everything tasted pretty decent. But what was not good was the cleanliness of the place - the tables had glass tops and you could easily spot rice and other food waste stuck on the edges. The glasses and the plates weren't in the best of the shape too. The service was sloppy and in general it seemed like the restaurant had seen better days. I had a fair bit of indigestion after eating here, so i would surely avoid going again!

Nice food served here. Price is quite reasonable and quite fast (probably because its not peak period otherwise there is always a very long queue). There is a vegetable dish (cannot remember the name) that comes with lotus roots (sliced), water chestnuts etc and this dish is very good. Their daily soup of the day was delicious. Love their tofu dish - very smooth and tasty.

The Resort’s latest F&B addition, Bubbles & Bites, opened on 4th July 2012. Here, patrons can enjoy casual continental cottage food in a relaxing and rustic ambience. The outlet is committed to serving fresh food, specialising in pizzas and pastas. We also serve miniature bottles of sparkling wines, alcoholic sodas, juices, soft drinks, beers and wines from all around the world.
Had great service here and drinks came in nice ice cooler. Pizzas and burgers plus other snacks. Service quick and very polite it’s very open and clean and the burger was good the pizzas too. More for a snack than a proper meal but lovely nevertheless.
Views to outside too and nice decor. Prosecco was lovely in the small bottles and very chilled. Reasonable too.

Simply put, its the best place to chill over a couple of beers while enjoying the fantastic band who churns out some seriously good tunes. This is simply the liveliest spot to be in when in Genting Highlands. Good service, fresh beer on the tap and smacking good band. If you had a couple of brewskis, good to note that the washroom is on the upper floor.

Take a bite from our oven fresh pastries, cakes and sandwiches, made using traditional recipes and baked to perfection! The Genting Chicken Pie has made a name for itself, so much so that some visitors have been known to order it in bulk whenever they are at Genting. Also, do not miss the chance to try our specially brewed Colombian black coffee.
Great place to have a quick Sandwich & coffee. Love the Mexican Bun and quiches as well. You can choose your fillings for the sandwiches and they make it for you, as well as ready made ones. There's also a patio area to enjoy the cool air and also for smokers.

Imperial Rama’s culinary masterpiece combines the delicate finesse of Chinese creations with the flamboyant, intensely appetizing flavors of Thai preparations for a distinctive, delightful feast. The secret to Imperial Rama’s dazzling cuisine is its perfect balance of the two cultures that inspire it; for every Chinese influence in a delicacy, there is a hint of Thai sophistication that doesn’t just complement the recipe, but enhances it as well.
My mother received a complimentary meal voucher worth RM300. So we decided to try this restaurant. Overall Imperial Rama is better than Genting Palace, it looks new and grand, but Genting Palace is a bit old. The food is nice but quite expensive, 5 of us order 5 dishes, total bill about RM300, we like the fried durian dish. Really nice. But for peak period like Saturday or Public Holiday, it's better to make reservation first, it could be fully booked. We are lucky, we straight walk in and luckily still have 1 table.
