I went here for lunch with my wife. Passed it by the first time but slowed down and found it on second pass. Very diversified menu. Food was hot and price was reasonable. Will definitely come back to try one of the other menu items.

Bankhead Brewing Co. brews all their own beer onsite. Typically will have 8-10 taps rotating throughout the year. Chef Louis prepares and cooks out of two wood burning ovens.
We went to Bankhead Brewing Company yesterday for lunch. We have been once before. When we arrived yesterday they had their weekend brunch menu available and the chicken fried chicken with jalapeño gravy was available. It was awesome! Truly delicious comfort food! My husband had the carnivore pizza. It was good, solid pizza, but not 5 star like my chicken was! We also had spicy bloody Marys and Irish coffee. I am not a fan of the utilitarian type seating many restaurants are going to. I like cushioned seating! I like their rustic decor and it's walking distance from the Dart Rail. All in all its a strong 4 stars, but if you go on the weekend the chicken fried chicken is 5 star comfort!

Only go here if you are SERIOUSLY hungry! I had not been in several months and had a last minute change of plans today so I talked my husband into going for lunch. It was only the two of us and I feel like we wasted SO much food. The portions are ALL huge and you cannot take any of the leftovers home except for the meat. I had the fried chicken which was crispy and delicious. There were 4 pieces on my plate and I only ate one. The same for my husband’s order of fried catfish. We did not put a dent in the bowls of corn, green beans and green tomatoes. It was all delicious and I cannot believe that all of that good is being tossed out. We almost finished the bowl of butter beans (a bonus side dish that they only have once in a while) and we ate most of the mashed potatoes & gravy. We ate about half of the biscuits. Next time, we will go with a couple of more folks to share the sides.

Opa! Greek Taverna is a full service restaurant located on highway 66 and Rowlett Rd. We serve lunch and dinner seven days a week and provide a full service bar to go along with our amazing Greek food. See you soon OPA!
The food was just okay. We had 4 different orders and all of us thought food was just "meh". Probably won't go back, way too many better Greek options at other places.

I have been coming to this place for years. The pizza is always too notch. Salis special slice is loaded with toppings at least 3 inches high. I highly recommend you take your family here. Food and service is outstanding. Also there is a cool arcade next door to take the kids. Old and new games for all!!

This little restaurant has been in Rowlett for many years.
Good food and service. The food is cooked fresh while you wait with a small peak at the front of the restaurant to see the chef cooking.
The manager at this restaurant has been there many years with great service with a personable manner. Clean and affordable.

Brewpub featuring 100% wood fired bbq and house brewed beers. Intrinsic also serves beer to-go and a beer/wine selection with a focus Texas. Cool vibe often including live music from local artists. Great local spot in the heart of the Historic Square in Garland Texas
Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday, walked in before the crowd came. Ordered a sliced brisket sandwich with okra. The brisket was sliced nice and thick, had a good flavor. Didn't care for the three BBQ sauces available though. The okra was good.
I would eat here again.

Otherwise known as Saucer on the Lake or Flying Saucer Draft Emporium. Huge selection of beer on large patio by the lake. Typical pub fare (why don't you have pub as a cuisine?!)
The restaurant is close to hotels and right on the lake. Avery comfortable atmosphere. Great for large groups or couples. Enjoyed the Shepherds pie the most. Huge selection of beer but was disappointed that the first one I chose was out. Wait staff were friendly and prompt but not as knowledgeable on beer as they should be. Would certainly go there again if in the area. Nice that you can walk from hotel though

Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant providing legendary food with legendary service. Texas Roadhouse specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. We also serve ice cold beer and legendary margaritas. Treat your family and friends to a night at Texas Roadhouse.
Although the lines are long and wait times can be 45 minutes this place never disappoints. Excellent food, perfectly cooked steaks and super friendly staff makes it a consistently great place to enjoy a meal. Oh they do have phone in wait listing that can cut your wait times down to about 15 minutes.

Forget 'casual dining.' That's an industry term so out of touch with how consumers eat and drink today. For premium quality and style; fare that's at times familiar and other times adventurous and a laid-back modern setting, Houlihan's is a true original.
We went to have an early dinner when it was slower and the server was excellent. Food was perfect and the atmosphere is nice too.
