For centuries the English Inn has earned a great reputation for friendly faces, cozy rooms and cheery firesides. As soon as guests come to the Inn, the charming hosts and hostesses run to greet them. In front of a crackling fire one can partake of good hearty fare - the tankard is always full - the spit hung with roasting beefs - and a table heaped with sweets and such. The Inn Keepers of the Summit House are inspired by this custom to create an hospitable place where friends can meet to eat, drink and delight in the views of North Orange County's countryside. To one and all, welcome!
Surprised to learn that this place was founded in 1989, as it felt like restaurants I went to as a kid in the 1960s and 1970s with my parents ... including the my-unadventurous-parents-would-love-this menu and the piano repertoire. It was pretty flashback-y for me. The food was good, but not as great as the prices suggested. My salad that included oranges showed up, unfortunately, with canned mandarin slices; this, in prime orange-growing territory. Yet another restaurant that clearly wishes vegetarians didn't exist; however, they did have one off-menu option. Nice views all around from the location, and pretty grounds. The place was full--and holds a lot of people--so I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't unbearably noisy. We were pleasantly surprised by a free dessert for our anniversary.

El Farolito is a small Mexican Restaurant and is located in the town of Placentia, California. This town is located about 8 miles northeast of Disneyland and about 40 miles east of LAX (Los Angeles International Airport). This place has been around a long time and officially opened in 1974. It has been owned by the same family the entire time.
I dined here on a Monday evening in mid-September with a business associate and enjoyed the experience and thought that the 100% Mexican food was really good. I ordered a giant burrito with beans and rice and really enjoyed everything. The rice did not look right but it was really tasty. The giant burrito was also really good. The portions were huge so I was not able to eat everything. We were given free chips and salsa before ordering and I also liked them (except the salsa was a little hot). This place seems to be popular with locals as there were lots of “To Go” orders being picked-up so we had to wat a few minutes for these customers to finish before we could pay.
Overall enjoyed my dinner and thought the Mexican Food was really good. I will be back on my next trip to this area. In addition, I asked two different local people for a good Mexican restaurant and they both recommended this place.

We keep coming back to Rutabegorz. Love their salads, soups and omelettes. Only problem is that it can be very noisy during busy hours. Ask for a quiet table.

This is not your typical Greek restaurant. The décor and music has a contemporary vibebas does the young staff. The food takes traditional Greek dishes and gives them a modern twist. Mostly it works. The food is fresh and lighter than what you expect at a Greek restaurant. A good choice in Fullerton.

This is an English pub, great for some fish-n-chips and a couple of draft beers! I came by for lunch and the place was not that busy. Now, I'm sure that on a day there is international soccer and the England national team is playing, seats may be scarce.

I had the Dutch Baby and it was excellent. My husband had the blueberry pancakes and my daughter had the chocolate chip pancakes. They both said they were delicious. A side of bacon was a little pricey but the food was wonderful and the service was great!

they are also on yelp.
Pieology is a chain of over 40 restaurants in 12 states that serves oven-fired pies made with a diverse range of sauces, cheeses & toppings. This unit in Fullerton on State College Boulevard near the intersection with Chapman Avenue is the spot where the concept originated. The service style is build-your-own, much like Subway for sandwiches and Chipotle for burritos.
You first choose the kind of crust (white, whole wheat or gluten-free). Pieology specializes in thin crusted pies, but if you prefer a thick crust you can order one for an additional charge. Next, you select your sauce (red, Alfredo, herb butter, olive oil, pesto, BBQ, etc.), choose your cheeses and meats, and finally pick your toppings (various vegetables, garlic, basil, olives, etc.). They are very generous with the amount of toppings places on your pie.
For those who find the build-your-own process a bit overwhelming, there are also pre-determined pizzas (such as cheese, veggie, Margherita, Alfredo, etc.) on the menu.
The pizzas taste delicious and are a very good size for the price you pay. On our visit the service was friendly, quick and helpful. There is a good amount of seating inside. The parking immediately around the restaurant is a bit limited, so you may have to park in the adjacent shopping center.
If you like the idea of customizing your pizza and enjoy a high-quality pie, you should consider a visit to Pieology.

Dropping my son of at college nearby and he had been here before. Absolutely did not disappoint. Had the Smokey and did the half and half onion rings/fries. Between the bun the fried onion strings, the bacon and the meat, absolutely the best. Came back on Sunday for the Hangover Burger. Very good as well. When I come to visit my son we are going to have to return.

Value: fantastic value. $34/ per person for premium choice meats with all the usual sides at a Korean BBQ. Pretty standard Korean BBQ prices per person.
Meat: come on! You go to Korean BBQs for a meat-fest. And on this count, Mr. BBQ does not disappoint. Fresh, good portions, well seasoned.
Decor: clean, modern, with TVs.
Service: friendly, young crew that is enthusiastic and helpful. Always got quick turnaround on meat orders and drink refills.
Definitely a highly recommended Korean BBQ joint. It was very busy on the weeknight we decided to try it out. You should give it a try too!

This is a cute place in the hip district on Harbor Blvd. It is dark with quirky decor including a few crystal chandeliers. The staff is exceptional. We went on a Wednesday which is 1/2 off wine night. Every night there is a difference special. We chose their top Chianti and it was very nice and at half off no brainier it was a bargain. Reservations are not accepted and I am told that there can often be a wait. This review in comparison to others will demonstrate that people have different preferences. For me this was not the best Italian food, not close. There were clearly hits and misses. I liked the bruchetta and dinner salad along with the cannelloni, but found the calamari and my main pasta dish lacking flavor. Serving sizes were ample but i would have preferred something more complex. What would bring me back, maybe the service.
