A very popular place to eat, anytime! At this time of year, with many seasonal visitors, it’s especially busy. Many people inside and outside were waiting to be called when the two of us arrived at 5:00 pm. We were told “20-25 minutes wait time”, and were seated within 10 minutes! Turnover of tables is usually quick, so don’t be discouraged! Baby back ribs are always excellent - tender, fall-off-the-bone easy to eat, full of flavor and BBQ sauce. Our other favorite is pulled pork (over a white or a sweet baked potato). They also serve smoked chicken and brisket, steaks and burgers. And we usually add a portion of pulled pork “to go” and take it home for the next nite. Tasty sides as well - green beans with bacon, roasted corn salad, black eye peas, collard greens, Sam’s slaw to name a few. Service is always very friendly, good and prompt. And meal prices are very reasonable. Ample parking as well. Check it out soon!

Johnny Rockets is an international restaurant chain that provides the food, fun and friendliness reminiscent of feel-good Americana. On June 6, 1986, the first Johnny Rockets opened on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, offering guests friendly service and great food in a fun and nostalgic atmosphere. Every original Johnny Rockets restaurant boasts great tasting food from a menu of favorites including juicy hamburgers, classic sandwiches, and hand-dipped shakes and malts. Guests also enjoy an all-American look and feel, tabletop jukeboxes and authentic decor. This classic diner also entertains with dancing every half hour.
During our first visit to The Villages, Hubby and I were looking for breakfast at 11:30 am. Our hosts couldn't recommend an all-day breakfast restaurant, so they recommended Johnny Rockets as having decent food. We disagree.
Nearly everything on the menu is beef, cheese, bacon, or fried. Or a combination of the above. Even the few salads are loaded with heart attack ingredients. If you're looking for a hot dog or burger, you'll enjoy dining here.
Fortunately there was one menu item I could stomach, since Hubby had to be on time for his 1:00 tee time, and finding another restaurant wasn't an option. The black bean burger was actually quite good @ $7.89. The bun was a step up, with a few visible grains on the crust. I was able to substitute a side salad for the fries, which was so small I swallowed it in one gulp.
Hubby ordered the original burger @ $7.99 with fries. He said it was good. The coffee was awful @ $1.99. The first batch was cold and old, and the newly brewed second attempt didn't taste much better.
The ambiance here is cute, quaint, 1950's era, and the service is good. Not my kind of food.

They have both ice cream with and without alcohol. The amount you get is worth the money. They have entertainment. Something different every night. Great place for a birthday party.

Turners your premier dining experience in Lake County. A New American concept with a hint of the South Carolina "Lowcountry". Offering a comfortable, yet upscale, ambiance and experience at a moderate price. The menu features original variations of American favorites; tantalizing hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, hot and cold sandwiches, hearty salads, and unique starters. Beverages include an impressive wine list, craft beers, and festive cocktails. Turners is located on 5th Street in the heart of Downtown Leesburg, Florida We focus on small table dining (parties of 2 and 4) and do not seat parties larger than 6 people.
Right off of Main St. in the shopping district of leesburg is Turners..a great eatery....love the DeFore, owners are very welcoming...bartenders are cordial....and the food is fresh and prepared deliciously.....service was spot on....need to go back soon....after dinner I go to Sips for the music around the corner...
Can’t beat it....keep up the great work...

A neighbor had recommended Stavros and we're always looking for good pizza - and from our experience, the best pizza is found at Greek restaurants. My sister was in the mood for pepperoni and we were not disappointed. Plenty of sauce, cheese, and meat, and they made the crust a bit thinner per our request. Sadly, there were no leftovers... a large pizza was plenty for the 3 of us, plus we shared a medium Greek salad.
We got there at 6 and the place was packed - only one table for us and we took it. The empty tables in the pics attached were just inbetween customers
We will be back, oh, yes, we will!

counter servise is fast and friendly . Bagels have toppings on both sides .No more eating the bottom first .Have Gleason and The honey mooners on the TV screen. My only complaint is they have a surgeon cutting the lox . Don't order it any more . Get a bagel and cream cheese and save 4 bucks .

Self-serve frozen yogurt shop.
There are always new flavors to try at this soft-serve, self-serve frozen yogurt and gelato establishment. And every candy and cookie topping you would expect, plus fruit and syrups, are available. The only hard part is choosing which flavor, which topping...so many choices!

Wonderful place to celebrate your special event. Our anniversary meal was wonderful. We both had the duck and requested crispy with cabernait sauce on the side. It came with 2 sides. We also had appetizers and a bottle of nice wine. We were given a piece of their cheesecake with strawberry sauce and a candle for our anniversary. Excellent food. Total bill was $150 + $30 tip, well worth it for the great food, ambience and service. Going back in March for my birthday!
