We visit Ferentino/Frosinone frequently from Chicago, Illinois, and luckily we discovered one of the best restaurants in the region. The service is impeccable and friendly. The food is always fresh and prepared perfectly! We frequently bring groups of friends/family and it's always a real treat....MoreDear Customer, Thank you for your review. We are very happy that you're landed in our restaurant even from America. They are the customers like you that give us the strength to go on in our business. BR

This no vegetarian restaurant.
Like in New York Gallagher's, you will see the meat on display before you get to it.
After the formal introduction to your meat, it is in the chimney that the BBQ will cary on.
The meat is tender, tasty and served in American like size proportions.
They even have one steak called the scary steak, that will get think twice if you dare try eating it at once.
The waiter speaks good English and worked in London. The brasserie is small and convivial. A gem for all meat eaters.
Enjoy!

My wife and I found this restaurant with the help of a native Italian who went to great lengths to get us there. The atmosphere is pure of the beaten path Italian and the food is superb. It is family owned and has been passedt on for a couple of generations. Super friendly folks who make you feel at home and serve excellent food! Worth seeking out and highly recommend!

Average food fish, we have ok startes and flled fish pasta that was not really tasting so much, not sure if food was frozen there. No wine list offered I would say that the good think was the dessert (millefoglie was very well done) a place that you will forget soon and not suggest.

On a recent trip to Frosinone, we headed to Trattoria Sellari after Reading about it on several "off the record" Italian food blogs. We decided to walk there from our hotel, and (naturally) got lost...but made the best of it, stopping in an old-fashioned barber shop for a warm shave for Dave. In our halting Italian, we told the barber where we were headed for dinner...turns out it was his favorite trattoria! A good sign?
Up an inclined side street, we arrived at the trattoria, and were impressed with it's clean, pleasant look. There were small groups of men (casual business types), dating couples, batchelor-types (obviously Mama's night off from cooking!) watching soccer on a tv discreetly set up close to the kitchen, and a large party of 12.
The wine list is complete, and offers many local choices at very reasonable prices. We started our dinner with the cold antipasti, and enjoyed a nice assortment of locally produced cured meats and olives, with fresh and salted mozzerella, and delicious grilled bread with the new vintage fresh olive oil. Simply superb. Next, for primi, the bucatini amatriciana and the carbonara...perfectly delicious. We were generously given two types of hard cheese to sprinkle over. We were satisfied now, but that couldn't stop us from splitting a secondo course of grilled lamb and broccoletti. Both were fresh and very tasty...and the management was perfectly happy to have us share this entree. Cookies and some of the local amaro rounded out our meal perfectly.
This trattoria is truly what authentic Italian dining is about...cordial hosts and servers, local clientele, and simple, delicious food in a very pleasant atmosphere.
We will return!

In the nice Garibaldi Hotel located in a small road of the upper part of Frosinone there is this gem where the young chef and his father cook wonderful dishes. If you arrive not too late you'll be lucky to sit in the covered veranda and see the view of the hills.
Our amouse bouche were a trio of light sauces In which you dip a good bread. My paccheri with fresh tuna ,capers ,black olives and Pachino tomatoes were perfect,al dente and hot the pasta, tasty the sauce ,just like the cavatelli with wild asparagus and guanciale with a special pecorino cheese.
Perfect the eggplant terrine stuffed with a soft ricotta produced in the area and it's light tomato and basil sauce. The highlight was the "tagliata" of Spanish cow ,a perfectly cooked aged cow that the chef orders every week from Spain and that he serves with roasted potatoes and green beans.I had the lightest lemon ice cream served with a strawberry coulis and crumble. Very good wine list and perfect service.

I chose this pizzeria-restaurant following the high rate on TAdvisor.
Not disappointed at all.
Pizza were tasty and loaded with loads of fresh mozzarella and tasty toppings...
Stefano, the owner really knows how to take care of his customers chatting and advertising his place.
We'll be back for sure next time in Frosinone.
Thanks
