Carlson's Rustic Ridge is located on Castle Rock Lake just outside of the town of Friendship, Wisconsin. We have a full menu, including prime rib each night. Our large, all you can eat soup and salad bar is a go-to favorite for many. Drive in, boat over, or walk down to our beach bar, open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Memorial Day-Labor Day, featuring live music on holiday weekends.
We ate here while on a family vacation to Northern Bay resort based on a recommendation from the condo owners. It was great! We had four adults and four kids. Very accommodating for the kids. Very good salad and soup bar. And the supper club food was great! I had a black and blue tenderloin...excellent! My husband had prime rib which was also excellent. Surf and turf and a prime rib sandwich were also ordered and very good. We were very happy with the food and the entire experience.

During hunting season, I visit this place every Friday night for there excellent fish fry. The fish is delicious and the soup/salad bar is included. The soup/salad bar is not huge but does the deed for a local small family owned restaurant. They only take cash for payment. I would recommend the Wooden Nickle if your looking for a fish fry.

This has become a restaurant to meet relatives half-way from our home. We all like Mexican food, and never go away hungry! Food is presented promptly, and piping hot. Menu choices are ample, and we've never been disappointed.Thank you for taking the time to review Jose's in Adams & for your kind words. We're glad you & your family enjoy it here & we hope to see you all again soon.

Hope they are around for a long time. Small coffee shop with a coffeehouse atmosphere which is a pleasant surprise for a small town. Stopped in for coffee - just coffee - and it was freshly brewed and quite good. Their frozen coffee selections sounded pretty tempting but that will have to wait for another time.

A friend and I had breakfast here two days in a row. Both times, the food was good and there was plenty of it. My only complaint is the coffee is a $1.50 a cup and the one waitress was slow in getting us our checks.
One day I had eggs over easy, sausage patty, and pancakes. I thought this was excellent. The second day was biscuits and gravy with two over easy on top. I didn't like the biscuits, they seemed hard and thin. We only had breakfast, so not sure the quality of the lunch menu.
I would eat here again, as it is one of the few places you can get breakfast during the winter months. I would suggest getting a 20 oz $1.50 coffee at the convenience/gas station. This place is in the same building.

My husband and I went here after a hike nearby, found it on Google Maps as we’re not familiar with the area.
Was a little nervous, because the place looked tiny and was quite busy! However, we were served promptly and the food was very good.
My husband had the Mexican omelette, I had the blueberry French toast. Loved the French toast, and their sausage links are quite bigger than normal - and very tasty.
Prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly.
Will definitely go back, next time we’re in Adams.

Mo's is a rustic Wisconsin bar that serves food. They have dining area, outdoor seating, plus seating near bar area. Wife and I tried fish and chips. Can order 2, 3, or 4 piece meals. 3 pieces was enough for me, two for the wife. Food was excellent. You can choose variety of potato's to augment the meal. Cole slaw is not my personal favorite, but their's was excellent. Four of us with drinks ate for just over $50. Excellent food, excellent value. This is not a place you dress up for, more than casual dress and you'll stick out as not the usual patron. Sign says they have been in business since 2012, surprised not to see a previous entry in Trip Advisor. Try their food, you won't be disappointed.

We have stopped in this diner quite a number of times over the years which you may feel seems strange when I give it an average rating. It is convenient for us and the food is reasonable. For a diner perhaps my expectations for this place are too high, but the atmosphere is not inviting - it is cold, not homey. The service is inconsistent and the prices are relatively high for the area. We had hoped for improvements when they changed ownership, but if anything it has slipped another notch.

We were visiting the area and several people told us about the Cedar Shack so we decided to give it a try! We had cheeseburgers and these were amazing burgers out of excellent beef! Someone told us Dean the owner knows beef so his food is amazing, and we agreed! It was a very busy night when we arrived but the service was still excellent. We were able to sit at the bar but there were lots of tables available too and everyone's food looked great coming out of the kitchen. Nice hot fried too which when busy sometimes places don't make that happen, not here all was good. Prices were also very good for all you get!
There is also a large banquet hall people said they host large gatherings in like weddings and meetings, I can see why, very cute place!

Since finding a wintertime week-day site for lunch in the Adams-Friendship area of WI was difficult (could not find much online publicity), this location became our destination, because it did offer website information. We were looking for a meeting place for two couples, coming from opposite directions, and this turned out to be a comfortable place to enjoy good company, good food, and a friendly atmosphere. Soups were great, as were sandwiches. Pizzas sounded like something to try in the future. While things were quiet on a Wed. noon, things are probably quite busy in the warmer months.
