EBC West is a full service "gastro-pub" style restaurant offering locally brewed EBC beers not found at elsewhere in the area. Located in beautiful downtown Fredonia, our friendly and knowledgeable staff create a lively, comfortable atmosphere. For reservations https://resy.com/cities/buf/ebc-west
A couple of days after Christmas, when EVERYONE wants to get out of the house and eat out, locals just might want to take the out-of-town family to a decent place. Many would think a interior brick-walled local brew pub might just be the place -- but not the EBC. In our experience, the menu was just lacking in offerings, a 1/2 dozen or so overpriced sandwiches. We were seated upstairs. Service: we were forgotten. Drinks served late. Our food? Atrocious, simple put -- either cold or baked-dry as it sat out too long -- and the sandwiches were really nothing burgers so to say (I had the Beef on Weck -- it was how a first-time Uzbekistanian would have imagined how to make this WNY icon...). There was no staff, poor food, lousy experience -- which all adds up to suspect management. I remember when EBC first opened: it was great, the menu and food terrific. Since then, and over the years, this location has just been on an increasing downward spiral. When $10 fries fried in truffle oil served with grated Parmesan on top is your "big thing" (really, fried potatoes in flavored oil with stored bought grated cheese for $10???), there is no more obvious clue...

Wow! So glad we found this place! Great service and incredible food. Most often an omelet is an omelet, but not here. Try the Metropolitan, it'll blow your socks off!

There were so many cars in the parking lot, I thought maybe the locals knew something the tourists didn't. I was wrong. Ordered fried haddock thinking it was a fresh filet of haddock. What they served was a frozen filet out of a box. And the fried mushrooms were just as bad.

My wife and I were visiting friends in the area and they suggested we eat dinner at this restaurant. It is in a residential neighborhood and is a real locals type of place. It was easy to find and plenty of parking. It is nothing fancy but the service was very good, the food was very good and the prices reasonable. The wine list is rather limited but reasonably priced. If you are in the area this would be a good place to go for a very good meal at a reasonable price.

Don't know why this franchise is so popular. Coffee is bitter and overpriced. Baked goods and sandwiches are minuscule. Employees demand money before you receive your order. Paid up front last time and clerk came back and said they were out of that flavor donuts. Had to ask mgr. to get money back. Won't be a next time with clueless clerks and stupid policies for payment. Dunkin is superior.

This is a great bakery plus more. Want coffee and a pastry? They have it. Want soup and salad with homemade bread? They have it. Want a great salad? They have it. Plus desserts, all kinds of drinks (tea and coffee type). And, the vibe is friendly and personal. A real gem

Food is usually good here. Value is another story.
Ordered the chicken lips and tried their pizza for first time. Service was prompt but didn't appreciate when different waitress brought food and is then clueless of who gets what. Who took the order? Ask her!
Anyways, chicken was tasty but pizza was on small side for the price. The clincher was that half of it had no toppings on it. Told waitress who sent manager who sent owner who made excuse that toppings slid over in oven. No adj. made on bill as promised.
Husband had stuffed peppers which he said were good but marinara a bit on sweet side.
Over-all, meal was decent outside of pizza being small and scantily-topped.
Skip the pizza if you do come here. They do have good burgers and fries.

We both had the Beer Battered Haddock Fish Fry. Its a huge piece of fish! Very tasty! It comes with crispy fries, macaroni salad and coleslaw. It a large portion of food at very reasonable price! For a Friday night it wasn't very crowded. Only 4 tables were seated. Only reason I didn't rate a 5 was the kitchen was very slow preparing the food. The server was nice and friendly! Oh! One last thing. They don't skimp on the tarter sauce! You have a whole bottle on your table!

Domus Fare is an up and coming eatery in downtown Fredonia. Serving breakfast everyday and now lunch, and occasionally dinners it's a spacious place to dine. The diner feel is lost because of decor, but the food is expertly prepared and reasonably priced. The Cuban on the lunch menu is superb! Ask and you receive, I was a very first customer noticed that a staple breakfast meal was omitted but added at request for my next visit several days later...I'm not sure of time tables or if they plan to expand to full service three meals a day at all but what they are offering is tantalizing to the pallet.... Main down fall to its location is parking but they've gotten around it by open times.... Open every morning and afternoon. Easy self-seating. They can accommodate larger groups too. So bring your coffee clutch...

I can't rate the restaurant since I haven't eaten there, but we sure can rate the deli/grocery! The variety of fresh meats is amazing! The choices are so immense that the deli literally bends into an L-shape around the portion of the store to accommodate all the deli cases! My husband has tried a variety of their homemade burgers-- The God Father and several others. Some are spicy; some are milder. They even offer a gf burger and are helpful for those who need a low sodium recommendation. there are many other food choices for your shopping pleasure-- everything from snacks to canned goods to frozen foods. A nice section of fresh fruits and vegetables complements the rest. Service is friendly and efficient.
