Had the cheese steak and fries and both were very good. A soda (free refills from fountain) came with this as a combo meal for 9 bucks. Would definitely go back for both great food and friendly service.

DON'T TURN OFF ON EXIT 87 FOR DD COFFEE!
While traveling on i95 we were looking for dunkin dounuts to grab a quick coffee especially since dunkin dounuts will make it just the way you like. Well don't stop here because they're a express DD and it's a nasty dirty place. First, they are located inside the gas station next to McDonalds. So we didn't even see it. I went into store and the coffee was in a coffee urn. So all were empty but one of them. Also trash and coffee was spilled all over counters from previous customers. It looked like no one really cared about cleaning it up. There was no sweetners. I just wanted to get it and go..
HAPPY TRAVELS!!

We had a nice dinner here of three tacos and a enchalata plate. And a 1/2 pitcher of Margarettas, which were quite weak.

Local, down home BBQ restaurant founded by the award-winning KCBS team, Redneck Scientific. Good BBQ, good people, good service. Monthly specials, Cheerwine on tap and slow smoked pork, ribs, chicken and brisket.
This is a place that we found only because of TripAdvisor. It is attached to a gas station, but do not be deterred. The BBQ was quite good and the sides were terrific. I had the pulled pork sandwich with slaw and a side of baked beans. The pulled pork was served dry and not drenched in sauce, but there were several sauces on the table for me to use. Quite tasty. The baked beans were good. My wife had the chili dog which she loved and the Jalapeno mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was outstanding!
Definitely worth a stop along 95.

My husband and I enjoyed a nice lunch at Simple Twist while visiting from out of town. Friendly staff, prompt service, clean atmosphere. Lots of patrons sitting at the bar eating lunch. Nice menu, lots of options! Shrimp & Grits, Sandwiches, Burgers, Salads. My husband enjoyed a Cheeseburger with fruit, I enjoyed the Chicken Salad croissant with pasta salad. Good sized portions, tasted good! We would return!

I ordered lunch for our team at work from here, and it was absolutely delicious. The owner and employees are gracious, friendly, and aim to please. It is also outstanding value for the quality of food you get. Our whole team was complimentary of the food and the service. Some of our orders were sort of specific, and they got every detail exactly right. Some of the crowd favorites were the fries, burgers, and corn nuggets. Yum!! If you are trying to support local business, or just want some delicious food at top value, this gem is a must-visit. I can't wait to go back!

White Swan Bar-B-Q features award winning genuine Eastern North Carolina pork barbecue. Made from a 50 year old secret recipe, White Swan Bar-B-Que has been voted one of the top 25 Bar-B-Qs in the SouthEast. Eastern North Carolina Bar-B-Q is unlike any other in the world. It's a taste that you must experience. Our Bar-B-Q is made with a vinegar and spice sauce which enhances the smoked flavor of the fresh pork. The pork is slowly cooked in a covered cooker which holds in the smoked flavor. The meat is then chopped, ready to eat. Great on sandwiches in a hamburger bun with cold slaw or buy itself, there is no other Bar-B-Q like it. Platter items include the best Pork Bar-B-Q, Fried Chicken, Fried Shrimp, and other Side dishes! Try the Brunswick stew, boiled potatoes, cole slaw, french fries, and fried pork skins. And of course, a basket of the White Swan's celebrated hushpuppies are served with each platter. Private dining facilities for groups of up to 50 people are available. Also Catering is available to you and your guest with a variety of items. Six locations to serve you.
I love this sort of barbecue place: unpretentious, more about meat than fancy descriptions or creative ingredients. We made a first but not last visit while passing through the area. We tried plates of both eastern NC style pork and fried chicken, with slaw and...MoreVery glad that you enjoyed your visit! We love hearing from our customers and look forward to seeing y'all when you stop back by!

This restaurant in Four Oaks has been out of business for a couple of years, they do however have a booth at the NC State fair which runs in mid October every year. They have great foot long hot dogs and fries and are always very friendly!
