We reserved our table ahead of time, letting them know we are coming for our first year wedding anniversary. They sat us at the best table in the house, front row seats for the sunset (a must-go at sunset). Amazing view. We ate one of their set menus of appetizer, pasta dish, fish dish and dessert for €57 per person, drinks apart. Everything was wonderful! Good portions, great fresh flavors. I must recommend the eggplant dessert (tortino di melanzane), it sounds odd, but is divine! It is on the costly side, but expected from a restaurant of that quality.

Booked for dinner to celebrate our silver wedding. We opted for the fish tasting menu. Every course was simply delightful. We had a bottle of local white wine which complemented the food.
Service was efficient but unobtrusive.
Lovely setting however because of the time of year it was dark however I can imagine on a summers evening it would be beautiful sitting looking over the port.
Would definitely recommend.

Just 1 km from the hamlet of Panza, Forio d'Ischia, the Montecorvo is a cozy restaurant nestled in the countryside between Ischia. Few tables, pieces of art chosen with great taste, a well and a fireplace carved into the stone green (inside). In hot weather it can dine on the romantic Terrace garden, exotic plants and water features created by the Fountains. Our specialties are the rabbit in clay pot and the meat in general with a wide selection of fresh local seafood also available in variants traditional, yet innovative, our thinking is to propose traditional dishes with the touch of individuality that does not go to distort the history of our land. Among the main courses are between the various choices also the pasta with rabbit sauce, linguine with mussels, clams and prawns, paccheri pesto with parsley and anchovies. Imaginative appetizers such as stuffed zucchini flowers, eggplant burgers, our pizza with gorgonzola cheese, anchovies of lemon leaf and specialties to discover. How sweet the caprese, the baba, the cake napoleon, the pears and cottage cheese. Montecorvo The restaurant is located 500 meters from the sports field of Panza (opposite the junction to Panza in the municipality of Forio). Time Walk 10-15 minutes, five minutes by car.
The artichoke appetizer was good and flavorful.
The rabbit was delicious, as was the steak with a sauce of a red wine reduction over spinach.
The wines offered were reasonable though there isn’t a large selection.
Overall the trip was good and the food was worthwhile.
€102 with food, wine, and dessert.

This unpretentious restaurant is Situated opposite the sea in the restaurant strip, the restaurant stands out as no one tries to entice you to dine there, because it is so popular with locals and visitors alike the later by word of mouth.
The service was helpful and attentive, the food a little slow arriving probably due to the volume of customers and the fact every thing is cooked to order and the atmosphere was so pleasant that you really do not notice the time as your table which is yours till you leave.
YOU must book or be disappointed having to wait for some one to leave.
The menu is extensive with lots of freshly caught fish staring, but plenty else to choose from all served in generous portions at very reasonable prices so save room for desert if like me you have a sweet tooth. I will certainly return .

My first review of this little beach-side café/restaurant at St Francisco near Forio though I have now used it regularly on holiday these last 3 years. Owner-Anna, supported by Pietro at lunchtime, offer freshly cooked seafood dishes of the highest standard alongside typical Italian snacks. Her baked sea bass al forno, cooked with vino bianco and sliced potato, expertly-filleted for us at the table was our favourite meal this trip. Not cheap at about 55euro per kg (ours was 45euro for 2 and a good-sized portion). Pasta seafood/shellfish dishes also excellent as is the slightly-frizante house-carafe of vino bianco at 4.5 euro’s a half litre. Also does a good limoncello to round off (as usual in Italy, free if you wait long enough and have spent reasonably generously…). The beach opposite is good and you can hire a pair of sun loungers plus umbrella for 8 euro’s after lunch!

My boyfriend and I were driving around the island and decided to stop here for some wine and a small plate and watch the sunset. Beautiful beach and lovely location. The staff/owner was super friendly. Wine and food were great. I can just imagine this place in the summer! Lots of Seating on the patio and a huge sandy beach.

Highly recommended by the hotel staff who advised us to try the 'cozze alla brace' (barbecued mussels?) which were admittedly excellent. It's located in San Francesco's bay, right on the beach, has a lovely veranda were you can eat, and the owner will let you have umbrellas and deckchairs on the beach while waiting for lunch. The food is really excellent, tasty, well presented, and quite original. We had pasta with mediterranean pesto and clams (excellent flavour, very well balanced) and fantastic tuna steak with pistachios, perfectly cooked. Great dessert too. Trust the owner absolutely for your choices and you won't be disappointed! Also don't be put off by the appearances: the restaurant, despite the location, is not particularly well presented.. it might even look a bit on the mediocre side, and staff is nice and friendly but hardly professional.. the food though is absolutely great and prices very reasonable indeed!!! We'll certainly be back.

Good local food, but no written menu, and very approximate understanding of "gluten free". A bit rough and ready, but beautiful location and definitely very characteristic of the island.

After a sunny day at the seaside, La Capanna let you enjoy a wide range of drinks and delicious dishes from the local and the Italian tradition. You can taste the real Pizza Napoletana, with its vivacious tastes, crunchy crust and smoky fragrance as it comes out from our greatly appreciated wood-fired oven.Your stay will be accompanied by enjoyable music of several genres and our nice and pleasant guys.We always serve you without delays our gorgeous and affordable meals, so you can get fully satisfied and bring us with you in your hearts and around the world. In the evening, the restaurant changes its dress and gets a warmer and more romantic ambience. Among torch-lights, magic candles and soft music, you will admire the beatiful sea at night, lighted up by the lighthouse of Punta Imperatore, and a sky full of stars.Romanticism at its best!FREE WIFI !!!
Went based on reviews and were not disappointed. Yes its hot getting to and from it but its worth it. Large sea view Terrace, good atmosphere and excellent food, seafood pasta was delicious and the pizza for just 6 euros was amazing. Directly over the sea, well worth a visit.

Overall the food is good here and the staff, especially Giuseppe, very friendly and helpful. You can get a table directly on the beach which is hard to beat at sunset. The limoncello at the end is a nice touch.
