Overall it was just an okay experience. We were there late for lunch so the place was not that busy. I had the house salad and my partner had the southern Cuban sandwich. The sandwich was messy and hard to handle. He had1 the sauteed spinach as his side which was very good. My salad was nice, but I do wish restaurants took the time to make bite sized pieces. The salad dressing (blue cheese) was supposed to be house made. It did not taste that way. There were two under ripe cherry tomatoes on my salad. It was so obvious...I wish my server could have been more attentive and asked for ones more appealing and ebilble! I can't fault the server for the brown lettuce underneath.

Lee's Garden is a Chinese Restaurant whose primary business is takeout, although they do have a limited seating area for eating in and they offer a lunch buffet. Their food is cooked to order and, it is the best Chinese Takeout in the Lynchburg, VA area. Actually, it is as good as any this side (East) of Nashville. I love Hot & Sour Soup, and theirs is the best! Just thinking about its abundance of fresh vegetables, strips of pork, and tofu in a rich, spicy & sour broth makes my mouth water. My wife and I also love their Shrimp and Snow Peas. The shrimp are extra large or jumbo and with 12 per large order, it easily feeds us both with leftovers. Lee's Garden lunches include soup or egg roll, fried rice, the main dish, and of course a fortune cookie. They are a real bargain! I would highly recommend Lee's Garden for Chinese Takeout.

Stopped by after supper for some cool treats. We had dipped cones, orange sorbet, and the ooey gooey peanut butter and chocolate sundae. Prices were reasonable, everything was yummy, happy and friendly atmosphere. Definitely add this to your must visit places in Lynchburg.

The only problem you'll have here is deciding what to purchase. The selection is huge and everything quite tasty. If you want something different, arrive early and face the "Peaks". Order you favorite dish and watch the most beautiful sunsets in the world.
I always go for the soft serve but be careful, the large is enormous so bring your appetite and and a few napkins.
Great our food seating for the family and always super friendly.

Four very pleased adults. Had reservations thank goodness, very busy. All enjoyed our meals, including appetizers, could not fit desert. salad bar fresh, needs to be better laid out for access. Service was top notch, food excellent, our table had ribs, tilapia stuffed with crab, crab cakes, shrimp on the grill, all super good.

Sweet Frog is a nice place to get your sweet tooth fix. Nice place to hang out, too. I almost always run into someone I know. Staff is comprised of high school and college students and they are always extremely polite, helpful, and respectful.

This is not your typical Americanized Chinese. They do have some of the popular Chinese menu items that you are used to (sesame chicken, etc), but what they are really noted for is their authentic Chinese entrees. Some will find these to be weird - there were some we loved and some we didn't. e.g., loved "golden mountain" which was a large mound of deep fried and honey coated pieces of shredded chicken (good choice for picky eaters). I loved the Szechuan pork belly, but not so much the crispy pork belly appetizer. I tried a couple of the Duck dishes (duck in stone pot, Guang Gulu duck) ) and found them to be too much in the Chinese tradition (fatty and tough). Loved all of the chicken dishes I tried (Mongolian Chicken, three gorges chicken), as well as several beef dishes and lamb chops. The bubble pancake was a unique and fun appetizer. We will keep going back. They have something for everybody whether you are picky eater or the adventurous type - just order what you are comfortable with.

We wanted something different for a change. The appetizer platter was huge and very filling. We ended up sharing a few spaghetti platters which we delicious. For quick and tasty food, Lori’s is a must. A very good selection of desserts in addition to entrees.

My wife and I have visited this place multiple times now and we have been very impressed every time. The food is delicious, the service is amazing, and the value is great! If you love Mexican food, then this place is a must! Don't miss out.

Haven't been to this restaurant in a long time and won't be going again soon. My taquitos Mexicanos were so burnt on both ends of all four that I had to break them off to eat the middle. The meat was extremely dry. The salsa tasted okay, but was on the watery side. To be fair, my granddaughter enjoyed her chicken soup. Can't remember what my daughter had, but she was satisfied. Service was average. Used to be so much better.
