This place is just good and always good. I have visited multiple times for years and quality is a seal for them. Eat here and get the fried plantain stuffed with meet, shrimps and chicken. Good price, good presentation, great flavor, nice portion, good service, fast, quick. They mean business and they deliver good gastronomy. Enjoy. Very recommended!

Treat yourself! Dining at Zum's is an experience. For starters, the goulash soup is amazing. The German salad consisting of beets, onions, carrots, coleslaw and cucumber salad is the best. The wurst platter, with German potato salad...awesome! There are no words for the jaggerschnitzel. Thank you, Aurora for your wonderful service! Prosit

Located in Corona section of Queens it’s a bit off the beaten path but the restaurant is worth the trip. Make reservations well in advance the place is always packed. The food is outstanding. Healthy portions are provided. The service is old school and professional. Nice wine list.

Owned and operated by the Barnes Family since 1959, London Lennie’s has evolved from a quintessential fish-n’-chips shop to the premier seafood restaurant in Queens. London Lennie’s is notorious for the best in fresh, local seafood selected daily at the world-famous Fulton Fish Market. This leading seafood restaurant hosts the area’s finest raw bar and was honored with the 2007 & 2008 Wine Enthusiast Award of Distinction and the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence from 2007 through 2012.
My husband and I had lunch at London Lennie's on a Saturday afternoon. The lunch special I had was one of their specialties, Battered and fried fish and shrimp with french fries, all delicious. An individual loaf of bread came with pats of butter and cole slaw came with the meal as well.

We were well aware of this place even before arriving in the neighborhood. We went around 11 AM on a Monday for an early light/late breakfast. Was not too busy and we were seated right away (although things picked up in the restaurant later on).
Of course we got the showcase soup dumplings, but we also got scallion pancakes and vegetable dumplings. The soup dumplings were the "soupiest" either of us have had, certainly at least in North America. The vegetable dumplings were good in their own right, also steamed, but it made us feel a little less guilty by letting us eat greens. The scallion pancake were fine.
Be sure to have cash, and use the various sauces and vinegar to jazz up your dumplings.

This place has been here forever. The atmosphere is very simple and bright, nothing fancy. I had corned beef and cabbage, with portions so big I shared it with my wife (sharing charge $3). The potato was large and nothing special. The corned beef was good but not amazing. Our friend ordered brisket which was very flavorful. A good place to go if you are in the mood for meat.

I can't tell you how happy I was to find the place where I can get organic food. And huge bonus for me, Bareburger offers a variety of vegan foods, which makes me and my husband pretty happy. Any vegan knows that it isn't easy to find such a place for our diet needs :). You can order burger from the menu, or you can create your own, it's fun and very tasty! They changed menu recently and added one more vegan burger, and I must say I absolutely love it. I would recommend this establishment for couples, large parties of friends as well as families with kids.

This is also an adult friendly restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights (13 yrs and older). ALL AGES on Tuesday thru Thursday and Sundays.
Last week was my first trip to Il Triangolo. A friend and I were attending a performance at the Queens Theatre and decided to try out the restaurant having been told by friends about the great food. We arrived, on a Thursday, at 5:30pm. The restaurant had (1) table being served. The host asked if we had a reservation, I said no, thinking that a reservation, early on a Thursday evening, would not be necessary. Received a very nasty look and said to wait, he would look if they had a spot. We should have left at that moment. As we approached our table for (2) I took my phone out of my pocket as we were instructed that no coats are permitted on the back of the chairs....I guess pocket books are fine, however, a coat is a great dining offense. I took my phone out, as I did not know where our coats were going, I was immediately told to take the phone off the table....cell phones were not permitted on the table and IF I wanted to make or answer a call I would have to go into the bathroom or outside. Had he said, I am sorry, we have a no cell phone policy, so if you could please put the phone in your bag it would be greatly appreciated. Nope, in the most obnoxious tone I was lectured on cell phone policy. Believe it or not, I actually am a civilized person and realize that in a small restaurant I would never make a call or IF I was called I would step outside (there are those of us with children and elderly parents and need to have a cell phone close by and if we place them on silent then they need to be placed close by - like on a table so IF we do receive a call we will know It is far more annoying, in a small space, to have a cell phone ringing and trying to fish it out of a handbag because you can't get it from your coat pocket because your coat is banned. I don't need an obnoxious waiter to tell me what I can and can not do. I wonder if he ever heard of CUSTOMER SERVICE. A restaurant is certainly entitled to establishing rules, HOWEVER, lecturing a paying customer, is beyond rude. In addition to this we told him we had to be out of the restaurant by 6:45pm to get to the theatre. At the time there was (1) table and they were eating, The rest of the restaurant was EMPTY. His response: he can't promise anything but would see what he could do. Seriously????? Two entree's could not be cooked, served and eaten within 1 hour and 15 minutes?? His response should have been: "Absolutely, I will make sure you are at your play by 7pm." At that point the food could have been excellent but given his lecture it completely ruined both of our dining experience. Lastly, if you do decide to dine at Il Triangolo remember to ask the pricing of the specials. Unfortunately I did not ask and I had the Risotto with truffles. It was good however, and I realize truffles are expensive, but $45 for pasta is insane. My suggestion for the waitstaff/owners of Il Triangolo would be to take some customer service classes and learn how to speak with paying customer, not lecture them. I will not be back.

Stopped for dinner on the way back from Cape Cod. Had dinner special Gnocchi in Pesto Sauce. Was totally blown away. I normally will not eat a full portion of anything where-ever I go but all bets were off on this dish.

I've been coming here for several decades. Never a bad meal. Whether it's "Ropa Viena", "Palomilla" or the "Criollo Fish" every single time it's been perfectly cooked. Consistency is everything to me. Authentic Cuban meals without breaking the bank.
