We stopped here for lunch. Ample parking space in the lower car park with a good amount of disabled parking space opposite the main shop entrance.
Friendly staff served our meals quickly. Our light lunch was most enjoyable.
Tables were clean and tidy (staff cleared them straight away once customers left). We had some food left on the floor (rubbish) by our table, which we had to be mindful of when placing our feet.
When leaving staff said cheerio and were very pleasant.
We then visited the shops, where we bought some items for Christmas in the current Baxter's sale.

The Mill House Hotel & Restaurant still has the same character as before but now with a modern twist, the complete hotel as undergone major facelift and the 16 bedrooms in particular have been furnished to a high standard. The menus and quality food are now prepared by the chefs from Moray’s No1 seafood restaurant The 1629 and no matter if it is for a table of two or twenty the attention to detail is first class.
Visited tonight with family and was very disappointed with the quality of the food . The beef stroganoff resembled tinned stewing steak and everything was tasteless and poor quality. The waitress however was lovely . They did give us free desserts when we complained but most of the ingredients for said desserts were unavailable . It's a shame as it used be such a good place to eat but will not be in a hurry to return .... if at all .

Went for Sunday lunch this afternoon, a very pleasant welcome as we arrived and immediately seated. Our waiter was Will, throughout our time there his attention and service was outstanding. Very pleasant young man.
The menu had an amazing amount of choices and our food was very well presented and very nice. Large portions too!
The atmosphere was light and the place itself was airy and pleasant. The tables were decently spread so you feel like you have privacy.
The only thing I found that was a small blemish, was at the end when looking at the bill I was charged £4.80 for two glasses of water. I would expect to be given tap water at no charge unless I had specifically asked for bottled, with our lovely Scottish water it is unnecessary to buy. And with the high standard of service given I would have expected Will to say at the time of ordering that it would be bottled.
That aside, it was a brilliant meal out and I would definitely recommend it and will be returning myself.

Our latest new attraction is our Play Garden, open during the spring and summer, is a huge hit with our younger visitors. Our restaurant offers a large selection to suit everyone, from Soup and sandwiches to hearty homecooked meals made with locally sourced ingredients. Our homemade cakes, baked daily on our premises are just delicious. Sunday High Teas are also available between 4.00pm and 6.00pm.
We regularly make a point of stopping for lunch at the Teapots Restaurant at Christies Garden Centre in Fochabers whenever we are travelling between Inverness and Aberdeen. The restaurant offers an extensive selection of quality meals and snacks at reasonable prices and is an excellent place to spend an hour or so over lunch and browsing the wide selection of gifts on display in the Garden Centre.
This is one of those places we can confidently recommend to anyone in the area in need of a welcome break.

The Gordon Arms Hotel Restraurant is located just when you enter the city from the river Spey. Good parking area just outside the nice building. The restaurant is totally whithout any decorations, the white walls are almost screaming towards you. Probably the most boring interior of any restaurant visited anywhere in the world.
Food was good, service ok, but we didn't see much enthusiasm among the waiters. But it needs a bit of upgrade both on presentation of food and interior to make the place more exciting.

Okay so I am a local resident and have posted reviews about this chip shop before. Decided to give it another try and decided actually the breaded fish was lovely. So relaxing weekend good telly my husband went to get the supper. Breaded fish supper and my favourite onion rings. Well as soon as I opened it up the breaded fish was a dark brown colour but thought okay give it ago. Well the fish was dry and over cooked the crispy onion rings were soggy well last chance will not be back more money wasted

We stopped here for some food on the way home, the gentlemen behind the counter seemed confused when I asked him if he would make a pizza that had half on 1 kind of topping and half of another kind. After a few minutes he did it and I couldn't understand what the problem had been. Ok but not great, once bitten twice shy as they say.

If you’re looking for a magical day out in North-East Scotland, visit our Walled Garden at Gordon Castle which is being lovingly restored to its former glory. Over two hundred years old, it is one of Britain’s largest and oldest working kitchen Gardens. Complete with rare and heritage plants, the garden walls are lined with 259 espaliered trees giving the keen gardener plenty to admire. At an impressive eight acres, it has been re-designed by award-winning designer Arne Maynard to allow a modern twist on a traditional design. In addition, the recently restored Victorian Mackenzie & Moncur glasshouse displays an impressive amount of delicious tomatoes in the summer months. Watch our dedicated team of gardeners at work as this magical garden evolves with the seasons and bears fruit for our café visitors ensuring quality home-grown food served all day.
Visited yesterday for lunch with friends and were extremely disappointed in the service. The cafe was not particularly busy when we arrived, we ordered some coffees/drinks while browsing the menu. Our order for food was taken soon after, however after some time we had to ask where our food was and by the time it eventually arrived 35 mins later...all our drinks were finished.....it was only 3 sandwiches.
We asked to order more drinks and when they arrived one of the coffees was missing ....... we waited almost 15mins for an Americano to be poured from the coffee pot!
Our lunch experience was a disappointment to say the least.
Have visited here several times in the past but will not be back.
