Always see a lot of cars here so we decided to stop in on our way home. Now its a favorite. Very limited seating inside but has seating outside also. Usually a little bit of a wait but very worth it. Good food, good proportions, very nice staff. Parking right off the main road. Definitely worth a stop in.

The Ice Cream DR is an old fashion ice cream shop with over 50 flavors of Hershey's ice cream. We are located in the heart of Old Towne Inverness and when you walk down our streets...You will smell the BEST BBQ around. We smoke our BBQ ribs... Brisket...Pork and Chicken on premises daily.
After 4 hours on the Withlocoochee State Trail we needed something to reward ourselves. The bike shop recommended the Ice Cream DR and he was right. Smooth, creamy Hersheys Ice Cream in a cute little shop sated our sweet tooths. Cones, cups, waffles cones, have it your way. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Yummy!

Chef Kulow is classically European trained and has received numerous awards for culinary excellence. He is a past recipient of 2 Golden Spoon Awards, and with the McLeod House was awarded first place in the Taste of Inverness and the Taste of Citrus for Best Appetizer in 2010, the People's Choice at the Taste of Inverness in 2014, Best Fine Dining and Best Dessert in the Taste of Citrus 2016. By using the freshest food and herbs to create his dishes daily, you can imagine the beautiful aromatic flavors that you will experience while dining at the Bistro.
Wonderful little place. Live music with a harmonica that was not obnoxious at all. Ordered scallops au gratin. It was like a little casserole on a bed of spinach. A little too rich for me, but delicious all the same.
Staff was very friendly.
Chef Michael came to the table personally, also went earlier in the day and purchased extra vegetables to make something for my sister in law and her kids that are vegan.

stopped in for lunch, but was too early, so had the value menu...could you believe a bow of biscuit and gravy for $1.25 and coffee only 50 cents? Only one server working and she was slammed and did her best to keep up...can't fault her for the service when her additional staff was on the way to work and had a flat tire. will be back for sure.

We have been frequenting Old World Restaurant for over ten years. It's our favorite Sunday trip "over the river and through the woods". They have a varied menu with European and American favorites, as well as local seafood and steak. The atmosphere and service is warm and friendly, not overly pretentious. They make you feel like one of the family. In addition to their extensive menu items, they have weekend specials which you dare not miss. My favorites are the roast duck, pork osso buco, veal or pork shnitzel, the wurst platter; and don't forget the shpetzle and
the sauerkraut. They start the meals with soup and salad, give you a generous portion for the entrée...we have never had room for desert, so I can't comment on that. They also have a full liquor license, so you can enjoy your favorite cocktail, beer, or wine.

First visit, definitely not the last. Surprised my wife with impromptu lunch. 40 minute ride but well worth it. We found Inverness a quaint and charming town and we found parking near Little Italy! We had researched Trip Advisor reviews and had to check for ourselves.
Patricia greeted us and explained seating and ordering. Went for the Italian panini and the Rosi Special, described as a surprise. Surprise me everyday with that. Cold cuts and cheeses are fresh, sliced thin, if included, roasted peppers, artichokes, other toppings just flavorful, bread is perfect for pressing. You don't need fries or cole slaw as a distraction. Enjoy the panini. Definitely coming back for dinner. BTW, Rosario looks just like on Facebook.

Lunns makes the ice cream. Lynns makes the waffles. All from scratch, nothing but good stuff. Yes this includes calories, but if you are going to splurge, this is the place. If you like old fasioned kind of food. Take a step back when it was natual, and good. Price reflects the amount of time and the quality of ingredients used here. Sure you can go to DQ for less, but DQ is trying hard to get flavors like this out of a can,,,,,,, cant be done.

Great outside seating. A little price but worth it. Got a Chicago dog and cheese fries. The Chicago dog was awesome! Made with Vienna beef. The cheese fries were sprinkled with a cheddar cheese blend, good and crispy. I will come back.

Dillon's Cinnamon Sticks is owned and operated by the original Cinnamon Sticks owner, Ron & Jennifer Dillon. Our family has been serving the Best breakfasts/ Lunches/ and Bakery items in Inverness for over 16 yrs. We serve breakfast all day and still use our original family recipes. We still make buttermilk biscuits, soups, chilis, and bakery items from scratch daily. We only use fresh angus beef for our burgers and roast beef entrees and roast our Turkey in house daily. We DO NOT have a walk in freezer and receive fresh deliveries several times a week. Come see why we are voted 'Best Breakfast & Omelette in Citrus County' by Citrus Chronicle readers. Our Family, welcomes your family to Dillon's Cinnamon Sticks.
This appears to be a popular spot. When the doors opened at 7am, there was already a number of people waiting to get inside and they seemed to get busy pretty quickly. The triple-berry french toast was very tasty and worth breaking my diet for. There is also a small bakery by the front door to get some pastries on the go.

The restaurant was okay. Prices were expensive.
Ordered 2 eggs over medium, they came out over easy.
2 pieces of bacon that were good and crispy, but essentially a dollar a piece.
1 piece of French toast that was pretty decent.
Grits that came with the meal. The grits did not taste great.
I don't know if I would go back for breakfast, I'd rather go to their bar in the evening.
