We had heard of this place and were amazed at the long line of cars going through the drive through window. We found our way to the walk up window which was nice. I noticed there was a lovely sitting area behind the store which would be lovely in warmer weather (other than 40 degrees in December!).
I tried the apple pie custard with caramel. It was exactly that - a slice of warm apple pie with custard and caramel spread over the top. Hubbie tried hot fudge ice cream sundae. Was overwhelmingly rich and both of us had more than either one of us could finish.
Not that I will ever return to Andy's Custard, but I would recommend looking for the smallest items available due to the richness of the custard (and the prices). Calories galore!! Enjoy.

Stopped in here and pleasantly surprised. I had the cheeseburger and fries and it was very good. The portions were good sized, and the fries were sliced from real potatoes. The staff was friendly and my meal was less than $8. I can recommend this place without hesitation.

Excellent burger and fries. My wife had a Turkey burger (good for the non-beef eaters). There are several other options that I must try: meatloaf, pies, salads, etc. Also, they have casseroles for purchase for take away. They do serve breakfast, which I understand is the 'real deal'. Not a lot of seating so it can get crowded at peak hours.

My kids and I went on a Saturday night. We enjoyed the live music and the fried Mac and cheese was good but I was not impressed with the BBQ. I got a two meat plate with chopped brisket and ribs. 2 tiny pink ribs and the meat was chewy and sticking to the tiny bone. The brisket was average and also a small portion. The sides we're good, mac and green beans, but for almost $13 I left still hungry. My kids had cheeseburgers and they liked them. Our server was very friendly but I don't think we will be returning. A little further drive and one can get better BBQ in Tyler for the same price.

There are 3 aspects of having a great evening at a restaurant - service, quality of food, and PRICE! FDs has them all in spades. We got there early (5:30) which I highly suggest, and were attended to immediately by Emily. We were served our wine and water promptly and about ten minutes later, our hot meals were presented. I had the delicious "Alaskan Fish and Chips", a friend had the "Salmon and Kale" salad, another served was sirloin and tilapia, another was served a shrimp dish and to top it off, a huge crystal bowl of ice cream, a carmel sauce and a pouring of hot chocolate sauce. No one left anything on their plates. The prices of each dish was the greatest surprise of all. VERY reasonably priced, especially for a dinner meal. To be as busy as they were, the organization of the staff was amazing. Emily concentrated on our needs - more wine, more water or tea. Another set of staff delivered the meals to the table. This left Emily free to help us. FDs does not take reservations. They had a waiting lobby when we left. We shall return to FD since they achieved all the aspects of a quality restaurant.

Clear Springs Seafood Restaurant is a standout. An authentic restaurant located on Broadway. Clear Springs serves up a variety of western specialties including delicious seafood, steaks and hearty burgers. Don't forget about our World Famous Onion Rings.
Great food. Fresh and finger licking good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Suggestion were made by wait staff. Love the cheese, chilli, and chip dip. Great value.

After a day of travel and only wanting to grab something to take to the room, I looked at options near the Residence Inn Tyler and found many nationally known burger spots and then I saw Braum's and read that it is a "famous" regional chain founded in Oklahoma I believe. Having never heard of Braum's before I thought to myself, "self, lets give this place a go." So glad that I did. I had what amounted to a double double cheese combo. The combo was an upsell by the nice lady behind the counter. When I responded to her combo inquiry that I was fine with the huge burger, she responded that she makes a "mean thick chocolate shake." That did it for me, got the combo - fries and the shake with the burger. She made the experience more than simply another late evening burger stop while on the road, she made it a bit more fun and lively. Plus, the shake was "mean!" The burger was excellent as well. Definitely worth the very reasonable price point of the restaurant.

Went for Saturdsy dinner and the parking lot was packed. Inside was a wait but bar area was first come first served and we were able get a table immediately. Chips and Salsa were very good. Ask for the creamy jalapeno dip. Good was okay. Had a so/so Chile relleno with an enchilada Lots of sauce options . Wife had soup. Really liked the charro beans. Tortillas are good. Service was okay. Had decent drinks at bar. Probably try again.

My husband and I visited Menchie'a after shopping. We were immediately greeted & offered sample cups. I chose a waffle bowl to put the yogurt in. The diced strawberries were fresh and ripe. The waffle was terrific with a hint of almond flavoring. My husband enjoyed chocolate swirl with chocolate chips. The business was clean and very busy.
